I’m so glad you used these for a year and have tried them in artificial grass. I play on turf and occasionally on grass, but I’ve really wanted to try these boots and wasn’t sure if they’d survive because of the price

I wish the tongue on the 3 wasn't a super cheap synthetic material. I'm pretty much forced to cut it off on my pair because it's so stiff that it's not worth keeping it for the old school aesthetic (which I'm actually into).
True old school fold down tongues were real leather, and pulled through one or two lace holes down from the top so that it can cover the entire lace area, for a clean striking surface. That's how we did it in the 90s.
