CBSA has been conducting raids and spot checks based on tips and information, to identify non-compliance of IRPA.
This has been reported on several locations in BC and Alberta.
Most of these raids are happening at construction companys, restaurants
Removal orders have been issued in some cases.

So if you are an international student or work permit holder, please ensure you are in status and in compliance with your stay conditions in Canada.

Coming here as a visitor and claiming for a refugee status are giving a bad name to the legal hardworking immigrants. False refugee claims will make things difficult for people who actually may have to leave their home country to save their lives.

Not only come back to Canada is impossible after deportation stamp on the person. He or she will not even get a visa to any other country after deportation stamp. So basically the person is stuck to their homeland forever.

Hi, I came to Canada as an international student and recently completed my studies. I’ve applied for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). I’m considering taking the mortgage license exam and was wondering if I’m eligible. Also, would working as a mortgage agent allow me to claim points towards my PR application? It’s been challenging to find a job here, so I’m exploring all my options. I’d appreciate any advice.
Illegal immigrants should be sent back. It has become a big business for agents which need to be stopped. Qualified, skilled workers going there and staying legally will not have any problem. Because Canada also needs skilled workers.

I am doing a full timepaid internship of 3000 inr in India as a content writer. I have been doing this while doing my ug studies fulltime. My previous employer has mentioned 30 hrs/week in the reference letter but they and my previous employer is not tracking any work hours. This is a remote internship and I will claim this point. All the ref letter r as of ircc format. The thing is many company track working hrs for work from home jobs but they are not doing anything like that, although I submit 1 blog of 1000 words each day which usually takes 6-7 hrs per day. I hope this is not a matter of concern.

@@SD-db5mc check ur study conditions which would mention 20hours only. Your job conditions can’t mention 30 hours yet. But if u have co-op permit it cant be more than 50% of the study length unless it’s mentioned otherwise. And if u post like this 6 to 7 hours per day means 42-49 hours per week. Thats simply not allowed. Also no matter what work do u do during full time studies it will not count as work experience.

What is the labour shortage? Labour shortage is a hoax where it gave employers full rights to apply for lmia and scam foreign workers for min wage jobs while excluding Canadians and PRs from working those jobs.
