Oh my God oh my God, me and my sister played this when we were little, and literally nowadays the only thing I remember of it is if you threw yourself off a cliff or a waterfall it'd teleport you back and barbie would really obnoxiously say "Wow, close call, I should be more careful in the future!" in her barbie accent and we thought it was so funny that we'd throw barbie off cliffs for like hours

People just don’t get it, Barbie Horse Adventure has a gripping story, fantastic graphics, and the gameplay is absolutely flawless! Should have been game of the year, but gamers don’t know a fucking masterpiece when they see one!

Warning about this game: It breaks randomly so your controller will stop working and the camera will keep spinning. It can't be fixed without a hard reset.

I USED TO PLAY THIS ALL THE TIME! Whenever I played I never finished the story mode, I would just run up to the mountains and try and throw myself and my horse off the cliffs

When I was little I used to watch Barbie movies all of the time. I distinctly remember an ad for this game of one of the DVD's. I thought it looked so cool and I was mad I could never play it.

I had a version of this as a child but it was Wide Horse Rescue for the PS2 and watching this I can say with great confidence, it was 1000% better.
That's one durable horse; running into objects like would earn most horses a trip to the glue factory.

I used to play the mystery game in this series religiously when I was 6 until it glitched out and scarred me for life because it broke up Barbie's face up into giant polygons. Her giant, pixelated, soulless eyes stared into my soul and made me cry

I have now learned that there are multiple barbie horse adventure games. My sister used to play horse rescue as a kid and from what I recall it had some solid design choices, like im sure id hate it now but from when i was a kid I thought it was a pretty solid game.
this brought back many memories of wildly flinging my wrist around in attempt to make any progress but still enjoying the game because barbie
