    So, despite what you may think of the review. I played one of these guitars today. I’ve been playing for 40 years. Holy crap. This is a game changer. Blew me away.

    Just bought one a couple weeks ago, I've never seen anything like it, well built, easy picking and the reverb and chorus are great. I'm glad now I never spent $2k on something else!

    And that’s how you do a demo! Good job man. I was telling my friend about this guitar and we looked up some videos. This was by far the best one and I thought you played it nicely.

    I'm late to this party, but today I discovered this fantastic guitar! WOWZERS!! Such a killer tone for so little money. Quality build and components (woods) make for an instrument that would be very suitable for gigging without spending thousands of $$$$. The sound is yuuuuuge! So resonant, full and rich sounding instrument. I will need to have a good setup done on it, but beyond that it doesn't need a thing. Now I can't wait go try the parlor model. This demo doesn't do it justice because the mic settings are poor. This review is one of Chris' early one. These days (2022) his reviews have come of age with great mics and settings that show instruments' true sound. Bottom line, folks - try this guitar out, you'll love it! I'm not crazy about chorus in any case, but the reverb is super.

      Banko's rocks. Bought my first bass (Hofner) there in 1970 while in high school. I'm sure it was hanging from the ceiling in the midst of hundreds of other guitars!

    I have a Martin and Taylor. Just picked this guitar up and wow... to me it’s so comfortable to play,sounds amazing and yea having the reverb and chorus is cool but this guitar is super smooth so easy to move around and the action is amazing. Definitely a guitar for people who like to move a lot on the fretboard.

    Good afternoon. In doubt between this model and the Yamaha ac3m all solid. Which friend considers to be of the best quality.

  • @simpeable

    I've tried it and I bought it. Guitar itself sounds gorgeous.(this sound presentation is not good at all) After I took it in my hands I just didn't want let it go, after while I turned reverb on just a little, I was surprised because I didn't excpect it, like I was in big open space and kicking.. I would encourage any one who thinks about buying a new guitar for this price range to consider this one. It is pro sounding guitar in every aspect (and I just can't describe it good enough) I would bet on it ( the electronic inside is an advantage if you wish, nice reverb&chorus thing and it is first of this kind I've seen).

    Is this truly identical to the regular LS but with transacoustic? I found that some of the smaller body transacoustics sound pretty dead.

    @jonathanhandsmusic 6 лет назад +2

    Nice. I play a Yamaha LS10 from 1995. To me, it's a little unnecessary as I use chorus and reverb from my amp. But the guitar is still a sweet one for sure. Thanks for posting.

  • @allgoo1964
    @allgoo1964 8 лет назад +3

    It's basically a battery operated self amplified guitar.
    Since It's not dependent on good wood for the quality of the sound it can be made from cheap wood, results in low price, theoretically at least.
    Wait until other makers come up with the similar model then Yamaha maybe will drop the price.
    Another thing is that the guitar won't need a big body to generate big sound, so the size can be decided only by how you feel comfortable holding it.
    I've never been a big fan of dreadnought guitars.

    • @musicmason
      @musicmason 7 лет назад +2

      allgoo19
      Acoustic guitars are self amplified by nature. The effects are routed back to the body via a reverse transducer, thus the guitar amplifies the effects and it's own natural sound.
      These guitars use exceptional woods, Englemann Spruce and Rosewood. The majority of acoustics these days use Sitka Spruce tops and laminated back and sides. This is ALL solid wood construction.
      This is not a Dreadnaught, it is a triple O/concert body style with slightly more depth.

    • @Colosphonium
      @Colosphonium 5 лет назад

      I agree this comment is retarded.
      This guitar as a better build then some guitar iv seen around 3000$
      Yamaha has both the money and power to buy hughe wood lots...they are making piano dont forget
      The all solid wood is exceptional

      He’s 100 percent right good sir ! I own a Martin OMJM which is a 4K guitar and it has an Engelmann spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides and while this guitar is better than the Yamaha it’s not 3k better that Yamaha comes pretty close !

    How many guitars do you have man?
    Isnt that why Pedals were made? Now, they made effects IN the guitar! Next, engineers will design "Effects Remover" for these guitars. Hayayay! Business! BTW, Nice guitar!

    why do you make a review with aweful sound?
    Man, get an interface with phantom power and a mic.
    You can go cheap and get a behringer umc204hd and a neewer nw800 and actually sound like a review...
    you get a 0 out of 10 on this...

    I am sorry to say that your acoustic guitar reviews need someone with finger nails on their strumming hand and an ability to get the best out of the instrument. To me it’s like test driving a car and just cruise slowly around town also far too much talking.
