Bubblearecool cause it’s still the “hangout spot” for the show just like friends have that cafe or whatever it is (idk what the name of the place is called don’t like friends )
Also it is confusing that Dr. Webber wanted to retire in the first season already and yet he is still working 16 years later... Adele already said in the 1. Season that he is way too old to work... so How old is he?!
schokosmartiekuchen yeah they stay messing up richards age because in like season 10 or something like that they tried to say he was in his 50s which didn’t make any sense but he was born in 53/54 so he’s like 65 but was supposedly 49 when he was planning for retirement? which doesn’t make sense but
No.4: Meredith couldn't remember her last kiss when they were HAPPY. When they kissed in the rain they weren't happy. She specifically asked about their last HAPPY kiss.
She wanted to remember the last time they were together and happy, and I love that scene. He helped her remember and whenever I smell lavender I think of MerDer ❤️😢
I hate how often the Meredith’s liver ‘plot hole’ is brought up when it’s not even a plot hole, the reason you can donate part of a liver is because they grow back! It’s can take about 6 months to a year but it does grow back in its entirety
Killian Coleman yes, thank you!! I just thought the same. I had two liver transplants in 2017 and even I am allowed to drink alcohol if I would want to (but I'm only drinking a glass of champagne on my birthday or on New Year's Eve. I am on very strong painkillers as well that's another reason why I'm not drinking a lot of alcohol). And no, I did not have acute liver and kidney failure because of alcohol. My family also wanted to donate for me but as I was already dying it was too late - anyway no one ever told my family / potential donor that they couldn't drink alcohol anymore after donating. They only said that they should be careful the next few months until the liver is back to about its normal size.
I think the point of what they’re trying to say is as you said, it takes 6 months to a year for the liver to fully regenerate but Meredith was only in that hospital bed for 4 weeks and maybe a month after she was discharged, she was out drinking again. Then again the time line in this show doesn’t really make sense
Elisabeth Scanlon after all the times they’ve been bought by surgeons I think it somehow may have been turned into a specialized hospital idk I guess it’s just not important to the plot but this shows a disaster nowadays anyways
Jackson not grieving over Lexie was so confusing to me. Like yes, he was sad over Mark which was understandable, but he barely talked about Lexie’s death and just moved on ;(
@@karaliabrennan594 nah but even after it was still revealed that he still loved Lexie. he was only ever able to move on when she died, yet he didn't mourn her death.
@@deanna4899 I personally don't think so. The show writers obviously never meant for Jackson and Lexie to be a long term thing so it's only natural that he wouldn't be devastated over the loss of someone that his character was never meant to associate with long term
Actually the whole Lexie's death history was awful, and I'm not even talking about the way she died. Meredith stayed sad for like 10 min in the entire show, she didn't get a funeral for God sake, and it really pissed me of the fact the everybody just forget about her and only named the hospital after her
I will say this one thousand times, their biggest mistake was killing off George. Imagine the potential character growth!! I could see him as a hot shot trauma surgeon. Makes me so angry
George wanted his character to be gay, but the director did not want that. It would not go with grey's anatomy character for him to suddenly be gay, and having been with women rather than men, he wanted to be fully gay, not bisexual. So due to this, he left.
@@alyssakanonno7362 Now Levi is the new George and he's the George the original wanted to portray. irony. It was a shame they killed him off- why kill him he'd signed up for the military; army I think, so he could have just deployed.
Biggest plot hole: all of baily’s training! Somehow she’s supposed to only be 3(maybe 2?) years ahead of the OG intern crew in season one because she was in the race for chief resident a few seasons later but somehow she’s doing solo surgeries in season one!! Not to mention the flashback episodes where she’s got Giant hair and the hospital looks fundamentally different. She must have grown a lot in the 1-2 years before she got her interns!! Not to mention Torres is basically acting chief of ortho as a fourth year resident with attendings fighting over her. Somehow there was no respect for the training timeline with Baily’s class at all.
That’s exactly what i was thinking! Bailey has always acted as an attending even though she was a resident. I don’t think the show creators were fully aware of how the medical education program ran in the beginning and they have learned a lot since because so much doesn’t make sense. Another thing to add is nowadays you see all the attendings working in the ER but in earlier seasons you never saw people like Derek, preston etc. They may have been there for consults but they never helped out like everyone else does now
Luke Probert yea I’m in the hospital often (illness) and that’s one thing they got right in the earlier episodes. Surgeons don’t just hang around in the ER taking care of regular patients, they’re paged when the ER docs think the case is surgical. The show shouldn’t have changed that
@@armandosalazar-cardoso1150 Just because they're in the same class doesn't mean they interned together. I don't think it's ever implied Callie was an intern at Seattle Grace.
ikr! bailey n callie acted like attendings frm s1 itself, n callie was ortho god frm the beginning! whereas the new residents or interns...frm jo's batch or deluca's...rarely were given a chance to even scrub in
Nichole Heitzenrater yes !! Even though it’s been years ago the whole George , Callie thing... was a waste of time. And the person Callie turned into was nothing like this cry baby she was then lol.
THANK YOU. at first i was like ‘bruh what’ but i’ll NEVER understand how he cheats on her, gets with Izzie for a bit and then they split.. i actually loved george and callie together
Yeah I totally agree. His whole family would be having a freaking FIT over that...and rightfully so. And Amelia just seemed to forgive her so easily for it. How do you EVER forgive someone for that???
I don't understand why it wasn't made more of a point. They could have kept him alive forever on that respirator, I don't understand why she didn't call Amelia, the rest of his family. Let them say goodbye. Let them know what happened. It was SO damn selfish of her, and she got away with it, with absolutely no consequences and it BUGS ME
It was very selfish. It's funny to that I started watching it again from the beginning. And Derek mentions that if he was in a coma he would want all his family around. He told Mer that he had four sisters and he would want them there. So they definitely messed that up.
@@alamoja absolutely. If they didn't want to go through the trouble/expense of casting all of that they could have at least made reference to the point that they were all there at some point. Or something. Idk, but it was a HUGE failure on Shonda's part. Doesn't matter to her though...she's still making her money no matter how many fans she pisses off. I stopped watching after Derek died. I still watch RUclips clips sometimes to have a general idea of what's going on but I will never sit down and watch an episode EVER again. Even the earlier ones, knowing how horrible things turn out in the future.
I don’t think Meredith leaving after Derek died was a plot hole it was the lover of her life and it’s even more sad that she found out she was pregnant the day of his death she was going through it she needed some time. She was carrying the love her life’s baby and he didn’t even know. She knew she had people that would care for her but maybe she just didn’t want everyone feeling what she was feeling
Yeah, I never understood Meredith's logic for leaving after Derek died. And especially leaving everyone to worry about her. I hate the way she spoke to Alex, bitting his head off, just because he kept calling. I know there is no proper way to grieve but I really did not get her leaving
Plus, they made a lot of comparisons to her and her mother. Ellis was dumped by Richard, cut her wrist, found out she was pregnant, packed up her kid, and took off. Meredith lost her husband, found out she was pregnant (which was probably even harder considering she and Derek had just talked about having more kids), packed her kids up, and left so she could deal with it all. Yes, she had a support system at home, but everyone grieves in their own way. I mean, this time jump also showed April heading into a war zone to work as a field trauma surgeon as her way of dealing with the loss of her baby. She grieved that way while Jackson was left behind to take care of all the baby stuff. Her method of grieving wasn’t fair to him, but it was what she felt she had to do at the time.
@@yourenotmysupervisor9311 And in the end April leaving is what ended her marriage to Jackson and I get that. If my baby died and my husband took off when I needed him the most I dont think I could get past it either. I understand she did what she needed to do But it cost her her marriage.
It was done this way to show a comparison between Ellis and her. Derek died and left her like Richard left Ellis, Mer found out she was pregnant and so did Ellis, both needed time to think so they left their houses and moved to another state, both ended up at the hospital due to some kind of health issue, then they both gave birth....then it ended with Meredith keeping her baby instead of putting her up for adoption unlike her mother.
@@chelxyy That could be what the writers were going for but remind me; was Meredith missing from a lot of episodes or did they do a time jump? Because I know Ellen had a couple of kids while on Grey's. Was her absence due to a real life pregnancy? I can't remember if they did a time jump or if Mer was really gone for a while.
hey, is it just me or was there a scene where they say april also lost her leg? april goes to a camp after her fight with jackson/their baby dies..n arizona tells him its tough on her n all...was i dreaming??
Izzie leaving, isn't that much of a plot hole. She gave Meredith a pretty cold goodbye, and Meredith isn't the most forgiving person. She and Cristina were never that close. Alex told her to go, and wanted nothing to do with her anymore. Bailey was her resident, but they didn't have a friendship outside of work. Richard was the chief, and was the one who fired her. The only one, who would have likely stayed in touch,, would be George, and he died. Alex having Izzie's debt, isn't a plot hole. Sure it might not have been brought up again, but in the season 10 finale, Cristina leaves her shares of the hospital to Alex. Making it, so that he would be able to pay of her debt.
Also, Izzie came back after she left, briefly. When Reid was moving in on Alex, and Meredith called to tell Izzie that, she came back. Like when she brought her high school science teacher with her for Derek to look at (which, might I add, was pretty ballsy considering the way she spoke to everyone.) She apologized to Alex and he told her to leave. But in that time, he easily could have gotten a forwarding address for her. And beyond that, once Izzie turned back up at the hospital, it wouldn't even have been Alex's problem anymore. Webber and the billing department would have gone to Izzie and told her to pay up/ give them an address to bill. Alex was just a last resort since they didn't know where Izzie was at the time.
@@CharliEdwards your completely right in one of the episodes he says he went to vegas but really went to sign his brother into psych favility shove meds down his mothers throat and give his sister some money
The one that stood out to me was when Susan (Lexie's mom) says to Meredith that they always told their girls about her with the hopes that they would meet someday but Lexie tells George, I never even knew a Meredith Grey existed until a few months ago.
I think what she was saying is SUSAN always knew about Meredith, because she even mentioned how she should have pushed thatcher to see Mer more. I don’t think it’s necessarily that the girls knew, but Susan did. And honestly that’s a BIG thing.
@@jessicajohnson3044 She specifically told Meredith that her girls KNOW their dad had another daughter though. That THEY (Molly & Lexi) always knew Meredith existed. S02 EP22 (so if she wanted to tell Molly who she was she wouldn't be surprised.)
@@jessicajohnson3044 oh brother, no I don't think Susan lied. I think there are a lot of writers on Grey's and they either made an error or they purposefully decided to change the story. Just like when Maggie called DeLuca's parents when he was beat up and said she knew them and that they didn't know she and Deluca had broken up only for the show to tell us his mom had been dead since he was a teen and his father lived in Italy and had never met Maggie. Or when Harper Avery thought Ellis Grey still worked at Seattle Grace and her scrub nurse of 25 years was still at Seattle Grace even though we found out later Ellis only worked there for a few years and was a world renowned surgeon who had spent the majority of her career in Boston. It's a writing inconsistency and nothing more.
Honestly Maggie's character is a huge plot hole since the beginning There's so many inconsistencies ugh. That's why I hate that they had to kill Lexie and add Maggie
Stormborn not really. Shonda was told or decided that characters needed to be cut from the show. Chyler Leigh, who played Lexie, was asking to have some flexibility to be with her family more. Because of the pressures they had to cut actors, Lexie was killed off since she wasn’t able to give as much time as everyone else.
In one of the latest episodes she was already a resident in 2001, and if she was 25-27 then, she has to be 44-46 now, that's a risky pregnancy. I know the years in GA are not exactly passing like the real world, but Teddy has to be at least 40-ish, if not more
When all owned the hospital they continuously had board meeting as you see through season 10 but then it slowly disappeared when people start leaving so what happened because Christina left Derick died Cali and Arizona left so who is running everything???? I NEED ANSWERS
Cristina left her shares to Alex and now those shares are jo’s, I know bailey has some shares and I believe dereks shares went to Meredith but other then that idk 😭
Meridith controls hers, lexi's & Dereks shares. Christina's shares went: Alex - Jo - Tom. Callie's shares actually belong to Sophia. Arizona still holds hers. Current Board Members Tom; Bailey; Richard; Meredith; Owen; Fox foundation rep
Exactly!! So obviously Mer has her own shares and then Derek’s when he dies that makes sense. Richard has some. Everyone keeps on saying that Christina left hers to Alex but wasn’t there a whole episode where Baylie and Alex fought for the shares and Baylie got them?? So that would mean Alex had no shares to give to Jo. The only thing that would make sense is that Callie gave her shares to Arizona when she went to New York and then Arizona gave her shares to Alex when she followed Callie?? Jo sold the shares Alex left her to Korasik. Then everything makes sense. So as of season 18 the board is Mer (with 2x 15 million dollars worth of shares), Korasik (with the same as Mer), Baylie (with Christina’s shares), Richard (with I think 3 million worth of shares) and the Cathrine Fox foundation (with Cathrine herself as the rep.)
@@khalil7232 no her name was brooke (what3ever her last name was before she married paul) because if it was josephine brook wilson the whole changing of the name thing wouldnt make any sense she would still have been jo wilson and paul could find her
I could be remembering wrong but wasn’t that the episode that they were telling stories of their first love?? If she was telling this story out loud she would switch her name from Brooke to Jo since no one knew about her past.
Of course she only donated a piece of her liver, she would be dead if she donated the entire liver. Only dead people donate entire lovers. You only have one unlike with kidneys. This video is saying you are not adviced to drink after this kind of surgery.
The biggest plot whole is when, after losing her leg on the airplane crash, Arizona shows up countless times wearing dresses or sandals showing two human foot
Some of them, yes, but not all. The Harper Avery for example still bugs me, and I think it's pretty serious. It was the reason for one of the protagonists leaving the show, and then a few years later it just changes without explanation.
are we not going to talk about how after suffering a miscarriage with burke, christina’s fallopian tube collapsed and addison told her she wouldn’t be able to get pregnant but then she gets pregnant with owen’s child????
She did not suffer a miscarriage with Burke, it was an ectopic pregnancy (the embryo was located in her fallopian tube). That is not considered a miscarriage, the pregnancy was never viable to begin with. And it's very common to lose the fallopian tube where the embryo was. We have two of these so it's still perfectly possible to get pregnant afterwards, assuming the person doesn't have any other fertility issues. It's just a bit less likely.
Amelia has always confused me. She’s suppose to have a horrific history of substance misuse dating back to when she was a teenager but she still managed to become a fully qualified attending neurosurgeon at what appears to be a relatively young age..... sure. Good to give your average junkie aspirations I suppose.
Rosie Marie ANYONE.. can be a “junkie”. Even a nurse practitioner... like me. I also work in a clinic was many doctors that were also “junkies”. I drop off that high horse before someone you love becomes one and you see just how real it can be :)
Amanda Earls, I’m not on a high horse at all. My point is in the fictional World of Greys, they have repeatedly highlighted how out of control Amelia’s life has been from a very young age and very few people would actually be able to dedicate the time to becoming an attending neurosurgeon, which takes 16 - 20 years of training to achieve whilst also being in the midst of battling such a powerful addiction by the time that Amelia allegedly achieved it. If its the term junkie that offends you than I’m sorry about that poor choice of word on my part and wasn’t meant to offend at all.
For Meredith, disappearing after losing her husband makes sense. She's always been odd in the way she handles things. And she has never handled tragedy in the same ways as everyone else. For her, this reaction makes sense.
It was odd to me because she'd never taken care of her children by herself, and chose to uproot them after losing their father. I wish they would have written like she went somewhere that she had support, not somewhere alone, grieving, while pregnant with two small children.
And suzie peppers from glee, the girl who was in love with Will and went crazy when he rejected her, was played by Sara Drew. Sara Drew plays April Kepner. April Kepner pronounced Jo's ex-husband dead. Suzie peppers killed Mr. Schuester.
This last kiss isn't a pothole she says "I can't remember our last kiss " Derek says "what" she says "I can't remember our last kiss yaknow when we were together and happy " when they were happy not split unhappy kissing in the rain
Meredith's vanishing after Derek dies makes perfect sense. Anyone who understands trauma or PTSD would understand. She reverted back to her default. I was particularly glad they had her do that....because that was realistic.
She's traveling around the world in africa they mentioned in season 15 that she briefly came back to visit her dad. But she's like barely mentioned at all
Here's another one: At the first episode Mer and the other interns were told that medical residency will take them 7 years. However, it was changed to 5 years later on.
i- being an intern is just your first year of residency, it isn't a whole different thing. intern = first year resident, and the 7 years includes fellowship
nevermind Merediths age, what about Webber? He was planning to retire in season 1, yet he is still operating. How does that make sense? Is that even legal?
My only question is how did Izzie literally open an 8 million dollar clinic, leave and not even ask for anything in return like that's her money denny gave it to *her*
Because she already didn't know what to do with the money to begin with. Remember that time when she kept the check on the fridge and even dropped it in liquid?? She didn't really care about it because she didn't want money to come out of her dead fiancée. When she built the clinic it was the perfect thing to use the money on since she didn't have anything else. I doubt she'd want money from the clinic now, it was more of a donation to the hospital.
They're similar but Izzie wasn't annoying except when it came to her apparent undying love for George, now Kepner was extremely dumb and annoying in every single way, I was cheering when she almost died
The Harper Avery award was explained by one of the showrunners! Apparently, there was a rule change that allows Meredith to win a Harper Avery and that's how she won. It was supposed to be mentioned in one of the episodes in the beginning of the season but they cut the scene out. So it's not really a plot hole ..
Didnt harper avery foundation become catherine fox foundation(which now owns the hospital) due to the sexual assault allegation against harper avery, wouldnt that mean theres no conflict of interest?
@@dhanesshmahendran9813 She won the Harper Avery after his death but before the sexual assault allegation, so maybe Catherine change this rule because of Christina's defeat
Now that Alex has left I don't know why the show is even running anymore. All the characters we loved and cared about have left and the ones remaining are extremely boring.
Also one of the first scenes that really drew me to Jackson was him talking about how his family never expected anything from him because he was "pretty" and doesn't look "like his brothers" but as his mom comes into play you discover that he has no brothers.
Jackson never says anything about brothers, he says family. "In my family, I'm the pretty one. My eyes and my smile, my body. I mean, you should see me without a shirt on. It's kinda ridiculous. But my family is smart, driven, and crazy over-achievers. And they look like they're smart. They don't look like me, which has its perks. Except that my family treated me like I was pretty. They expected nothing from me, ever. Never pushed me, never thought to. So I had to push myself. Hard."
@@angelcat183 it's season 6 episode 14, he says it to Lexie. At the very least, the quote sounds like he's much closer to his family than he actually is. The only family we ever see is his mother, Harper, and then later on his father. He could possibly be talking about Catherine's sisters and their children, or other Avery's but we never see them so who knows?
when mer cannot remember their last kiss she specifically says when they were happy. I don't like her crying and breaking up with derek counts as happy
Plus Bailey was a HUGE hippocrite as she commits fraud by changing the time of a surgery (bc the insurance of a guy expired at midnight) in one of the earlier seasons.
Omg that’s so true! I think she’s 2 years younger as she her intern year was the year after Merediths and it was mentioned that she skipped a year at school
One that I have always thought about was Miranda’s age/superiority to the original cast. Bc when they were interns she was only a resident. But somehow really quickly became an attending and it doesn’t really match up with flashbacks regarding her younger self as an intern.
There are waaaaaaay more inconsistencies than these. One that has ALWAYS drove me crazy is how Lexi's personality changed about 47 times. She's the flirty/confident girl at the bar, then the nervous dork, switches to the hot chick that knows it and follows with the shy nerd who hides. This goes back and fourth for many seasons. Haha. I will always love this show but I could talk about things that don't make sense and drive ne crazy, for hours!!! Much Love GreyFans😉✌🏼💚

lexie's personality isnt an inconsistency tho. she says in the bar she's like that bc she had a rough day and after that her personality doesn't really change
@@heloisadeslandes8184 ooooooh yeah it does. Haha. Examples.... meeting derek... next day... around george... when she starts dating mark... when her and Mark break up and the days before they get on the plane. Those are just simple key points but she does change drastically many times. While her and Mark are together and even after they break up she is super "not herself", just as in her character's personality..it changes. And then the way she gets with Jackson and the way that she is with Jackson really confident, rude ISH to April here and there etc.And then when her and Jackson aren't together anymore, all of the sudden she's back to being really nervous all the time running into things and the way she dresses and everything changes again. Don't get me wrong...I get that in reality people change as they grow or when they're with somebody they do act more confident blah blah blah. But if you go through and select random episodes from every season (in order) with her in them you will totally see what I'm saying. She goes from a nervous girl to a confident woman and then super shy nerd many times. Which doesn't make sense on tv or real life. Haha. This is already way too long but I can talk about this all day it's something that has drove me nuts. Because like I said it isn't like a small change that is kind of normal to go through, it's a huge change if you really look at it and like I said it goes back and forth and back and forth. And it's not little things that changes ....her whole entire personality, the way she dresses, the way she interacts with people and the way she carries herself. I loved Lexie, this is not against her. I'm aggravated that they did that to her, it was really unnecessary and made the character look silly. But as aggravated as I am by it.... I 100% know why they did it. They made her look nervous and shy when she first got there because she was scared to meet Meredith. Then they had to make her super confident and flirty when she was with Mark because that's how he was and they wanted her to be able to go toe to toe with him. She had to be confident and flirty when they broke up because Mark still wanted her and the showrunners wanted to make the tension even higher. And then in the episodes leading up to plane crash the showrunners knew that these were going to be her last ones so I truly believe they wanted us to remember Lexi how she was in the beginning. For the fans they brought her back around full circle and made her the shy, nervous, nerdy, super lovable.. "silly" lexie again. In order to 100% guarantee when she passed that it would hurt a little more when we got our hearts ripped out. So I get it but as a fan that's watched every episode about 250 times, the changes are REALLY obvious and stick out. And now it's all going around in my head .... how do you not see it 🤔😭!?!??! Ahhhhhhh..... I've probably just watched it way too much!Haha. Take care😁
Seems like Lexi went through most of these changes based on who she was dating/her love life though. She took an interesting route to get to Mark lol! & They were put through the ringer. Could be she's just one of those girls.
I don’t think it was that they didn’t reach out to Izzie. I don’t think Izzie ever replied back. And I thought it was pretty much established that Maggie was 15-20 years younger than her classmates when she was in college and med school. That’s probably why she’s so socially awkward.
MissEdna V She wasn’t 15-20 years younger. She graduated med school a year earlier than everyone else, maybe skipped some middle school, high school or college. Mer was 5 or 6 when Ellis was pregnant so Maggie is probably 6-7 years younger than Mer.
She once tells Jackson she was a senior at 14 so taht would make her 15 in college instead of 17-18 so not 15 to 20 years younger than everyone else. But she could have finished her bachelors degree in like 2 and a half or 3 years if she had enough credits which would make her around 18 when she got her bachelors degree instead of the average 22. That’s only 4 years younger.
MissEdna V Maggie’s not 15-20 years younger. She was born in 1983 so she’s 36 right now and Meredith was born in 1978 so that alone is only a 5 year age difference
MissEdna V Maggie was like 5 or 6 years ahead of her classmates in high school and collage and yes she is very socially aquard and spoiled when it comes to have omg it her way .
I used to agree that Izzie disappearing was totally out-of-character, but as I'm rewatching the show it makes so much sense. Izzie always gave her one-sided opinions to others around her and then when they didn't like that she would just lash out at them and make them apologize. I used to admire her so much but wow she was so irritable to her friends.
Izzie was a really frustrating character and they wrote her so badly. I felt sorry for the actress cos she's amazing and has one of the kindest smiles I've ever seen
This to me she reverted back to the Meredith that “runs” very much like Ellis did because she didn’t have Derek to stop her. It was literally on the post it. “No running”
I've been rewatching the series and one thing I noticed was that in season 15, Owen refused to go to therapy because he said he didn't think it worked but in Season 6, we see him go to many sessions with Dr.Wyatt and how he accepts her help and becomes a better person.

When he was electrocuted at the hospital, he did a whole monologue about wearing his white coat ceremony while both of his parents looked on happy and proud. (Season 10-1) But on a later episode he says his mom died when he was a child, from pancreatic cancer(the episode where everyone in the OR pretends the patient is someone they love).
In the first season interns are under the supervision of a senior resident (aka Bailey). However, when Meredith&Co become second year residents, they already have to teach interns. Now interns are just randomly assigned to all of the attendings of the hospital, which really doesn't make any sense
Bailey doesn't become an attending until season 6 I think. I don't believe that she was a senior resident, she was just any other second year. The show has moved away from the perspective of the interns because most of the main characters are attendings and don't have a lot to do with interns schedules anymore. In the pilot George is on Burke's service, just like in more recent seasons the new interns are on the attendings services. It actually does line up with the story generally.
@@Noah-kl8wn Would she already have a nickname such as "the Nazi" if she was only a second-year resident? Meaning that in that case Meredith, George, Izzie, Cristina and Alex were her first batch of interns?
@@Noah-kl8wn well take in into account that MAGIC’s intern year was the first 3 seasons, I think Baylie was a fourth year resident when Mer was an intern
Grey's has always had issues surrounding the age of the original cast that have been exacerbated by the fact that the show doesn't move in real time. The first four seasons only covered one year, and the various time jumps have not made up for it. So, you have to assume it is only 2017 or so in the Grey-verse. So, at the beginning of the show, Pompeo and Chambers are 36 and 35, playing 27, and Chandra Wilson is 36 playing 30-ish. Add in the time lag, and Pompeo, Chambers, and Wilson are 50, 49, and 50 playing 39, 39, and 42-ish. This is already starting to show and will get worse as time moves forward. The other age problem they have is that cast that has been added over the years is closer to their character's age than the original cast was, so in many cases you have Actors who are younger than the original cast playing characters older than Grey, Karev, and Bailey. Ramirez, Capshaw, and Mckidd, all playing 3 or more years older than them are 6, 7, and 4 years younger. Even worse, Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew are 12 and 11 years younger, playing the same age as Grey and Karev. Caterina Scorsone started playing an experienced Brain surgeon at age 29, James Pickens was only 51 when the show started, when the character had to be pushing 60, and let's not even talk about Camilla Luddington being 13 years younger than Chambers. TL;DR: Actor and character ages have been a huge mess from the beginning and have only been made worse by cast turnover.
@@VioletEmerald According to a Wiki that I found, season 1-3 cover their first intern year, everybody except George start their second intern year in season 4, and finish it at the end of season 5. So, after 5 seasons they are three years behind. They gain one year back in season 11 after Derek dies. So, right now, they are sometime in 2018. The problem is, when displaying dates, they have always used current-at-the-time dates, which has totally screwed the continuity. especially when you consider Station 19, which is is supposed to be current. The dates stopped matching actual time properly sometime in season 2, and has gotten further off since then.
@@Bikebrh there are a lot of time jumps throughout the seasons, if you think about it, that in my opinion make up for the lost time: 1. After the shooting in season 6, they jump forward a few months, and we see that in the meantime cristina got engaged and Derek recovered from open heart surgery 2. After Callie and Arizona's car crash in season 7 (I think) callie recovers from massive surgery all during one episode, the episode covers her whole recovery process that lasted for weeks 3. In season 9, after the plane crash, months go by in the span of a couple of episodes, Arizona recovers from her amputation, mark gets better and then worse, and the whole lawsuit and buying out the hospital happens 5. Season 11, like you mentioned, buys the show an entire year 6. After meredith gets beaten up and has her jaw wired shut (cant remember the season) I had the impression that many weeks went by in the span of one episode
Just noticed a inconsistency on a rewatch.. when alex beat up andrew, maggie went to call his mother because they know eachother. But in later episodes we learn that his mother has died long before. I dont know who she called but if it was his mom it was veeeery long distance
Jo’s name isnt a plothole... he would find her because her testimony would be public record and in her testimony she would most likely be asked why she was drinking, why deluca was there and what she said to him, which was that she was previously married!!!
But if her name was changed completely he wouldn’t know it was her unless it was televised or something. He would have to know her new name for that I would think
Mir G They recycle actors a lot on that show. Carisi isn’t the first main character who’s actor played another character on the show before. Novak played a business woman accused of raping a man in season 3 or 4 and Rollins played a rape victim in season 7 or 8.
Clearly you haven't watched the show on Netflix. Meredith's retreat after Derek's death was setup by her flashbacks of her mother being dumped by Richard...and doing the same thing. I theorized the Harper Avery thing was more because Christina triaged Harper himself without knowing who he was OR they reconsidered their stance when Harper died. It did cost them a gifted physician after all.
For their last kiss she couldnt remember the last time they kissed when they were happy. In that season they weren't happy when they kissed that last time. She was sad and derek was derek. He doesn't have a bad memory.
Another small plot hole is the fact that when Jo is first introduced she tells everyone to calm her Jo because she doesn’t like her full name Josephine, but she’s the one who choose her name sooooo… more like a continuity error I guess
It's been years since it's happened. Arizona isn't in shambles about it anymore, and no one has a reason to make a big deal out of it anymore. Arizona has moved on and so has the rest of the cast.
In a flashback episode Maggie looked like she was still a kid maybe around middle school at the most early HS age when she was in med school so her timeline might not be a plot hole
Yeah and the show also always made it quite clear that Maggie was some kind of prodigy and that she was always younger than the rest of her class and stuff.
Apparently the Grey's line have very good gene's Maggie is a child prodigy, Lexie had photogenic memory and she was the top of her class... Edit: I also just remembered that Lexie also skip a yer or two
@@Lianspain Maggie a Webber not a Grey Lexie and Mer have the same dad while Maggie and Mer has the same mom Lexie and Maggie are not biologically related
And also the one about Maggie’s timeline because msmojo sounds shocked even though it LITERALLY SAYS IN THE SHOW THAT MAGGIE WENT TO COLLEGE AT 14! 🙄 god this channel gets everything wrong
One thing I’ve always wondered about is about Zola. When she first appeared as a baby, they said she had Spina bifida and hydrocephalus, and Derek did a shunt surgery on her. But since then, there has been no mention of her Spina bifida at all. Now, there are very varying degrees: some people with Spina bifida need to use a wheelchair full time because of paralyzed legs, while others can walk really well. But most have at least a bit of a limp, and possibly other medical issues as well. She did have a shunt revision at some point, but since she had Spina Bifida, I kind of wish the character had had some sort of walking difficulties, perhaps needing leg braces or crutches, or maybe even a wheelchair.
What’s always bugged me the most is that Ellis ran to Boston with Meredith when she was 5 years and that’s where Meredith grew up. However, countless times throughout the series things such as her telling Lou “I grew up here” (when talking about the gum tree in Pike Place Market, or Izzie comparing their childhoods and saying stuff like “look at this house you grew up in, I grew up in a trailer.” So which is it? Did she grow up in Boston or Seattle?
Well didn't Catherine make the rule that stopped Cristina from winning in the first place? Harper was never involved in the owning of the hospital- they basically gave that entire responsibility to Catherine. So the fact that Catherine didn't let Cristina win but let Meredith win shows favoritism. Maybe even racism towards Cristina.
Something that i found out that really annoyed me was that Katherine was supposed to film at her death scene at the end of season 6, but never showed up. If she had died Alex wouldn’t have had to leave 😭
also remember when alex first found “Ava” he said that she had brown eyes and not blue but when we get to see her face in other episodes her eyes are blue
As far as Maggie's career background, they did show her in flashbacks as being a very young teenager attending medical school. She literally is a child prodigy in the show, it's not an exaggeration.
What I was always wondering about is that Richard always said its HIS hospital even though he was "only" chef of surgery...what about the non surgical stuff in the hospital?
Mer leaving actually makes perfect sense she did the same thing her mother did which was a very smart move when mers father went out of the picture her mother left and had a secret baby mer did the same thing after the love of her life died she left and had a baby but she kept the baby and came back showing that she’s better than her mother but greys always run
The Harper Avery was not a plot hole. They found out that Christina didn't get it because of the conflict issue and then the hospital appealed the decision and won, meaning that they were now eligible. I think Christina even got her Harper Avery in the end.
there were soooo many big age gaps in relationships on the show. between any attending & intern there would be at least 10 years and we all know how often that happened
How is that a plot hole? Age differences are not a big deal. Might have been an unethical or unprofessional choice if she was his superior (which I guess she was) but since when has that stopped anyone on this show 😂
Maggie is a prodigy and her young age throughout school consistently referenced both directly and indirectly. She is always talking about how her major milestones were different from her school peers since she was so much younger.
The one that really makes me mad is the one about the Harper Avery award because IN THE SHOW literally right after Christina’s loss they lost a bunch of doctors, so Richard told Catherine in a board meeting that there HAD TO BE A WAY for doctors from the hospital to win an award, which Catherine agreed to
Something that always made me question the timeline of the show is the Thatcher leaving Meredith, them going to Boston and Maggie being born situation. Because Meredith was 5 when Thatcher left and she was also 5 when Maggie was born so a) did Thatcher not notice his wife was pregnant b) was he seeing Susan before they went to boston considering Lexi is only about a year younger than Meredith? or c) Did Thatcher leave because he knew she was pregnant? because the timeline surrounding the events is a little weird.
All of it could have happened when Meredith was 5. The story was Ellis got rid of Thatcher and she and Richard were supposed to be together but Richard did not leave Adele. She did not look pregnant in that episode yet so no one knew she was pregnant and when Richard didn't leave Adele, Ellis took Meredith to Boston and had the baby. Then Thatcher told Meredith that he tried to contact her but Ellis told him to stay away and so he did and then met Susan. So that all makes sense. a baby takes 9 months and Meredith was 5 for a year so all that could have happened when she was 5.
Not really for izze but to give his kids two parents like always wabted he explains that alot in the letters however im pissed they removed him he was my favorite character and very bad way of getting rid of him it think it was a terrible idea
Yeah, I didn't get that she broke up with Alex in a note based on a piece of a conversation she had with Richard. Who does that? Plus she was stupid to give ALL the money away that Denny left her. I'm all for giving to a good cause but she should have kept a few million for herself. And she was fired in less than a year, she needed money. And what happened to the climic? I don't hear anything about it anymore? Major plot hole
@@a_noellesIts like you didn't read my comment. I clearly said I'm all for donating to a good cause but Izzie should not have given ALL her money away. from what I understand Izzie was supposed to die in the shooting episode. Remember Alex was calling her and she wouldn't pick up the phone? the reason being was because she was already dead. Katherine Heigl didn't show up to shoot that episode so they just left it out.

Also it is confusing that Dr. Webber wanted to retire in the first season already and yet he is still working 16 years later... Adele already said in the 1. Season that he is way too old to work... so How old is he?!
I think there were at least one or two other times as well were he was gonna retire but didn't 😂

Yes she didn’t say last kiss she was talking about the last kiss they shared when they were happy before Addison showed up .

I hate how often the Meredith’s liver ‘plot hole’ is brought up when it’s not even a plot hole, the reason you can donate part of a liver is because they grow back! It’s can take about 6 months to a year but it does grow back in its entirety
It's actually stated many times before that even happens, S2E2 among others.
That is amazing.
They’re confusing it with Kidney donations
All the chiefs of surgery make it clear they are not in charge of the entire hospital yet continuously make decisions for the entire hospital.
Sometimes I feel like there is nothing else than surgery to that hospital haha
Elisabeth Scanlon after all the times they’ve been bought by surgeons I think it somehow may have been turned into a specialized hospital idk I guess it’s just not important to the plot but this shows a disaster nowadays anyways
Most of them are on the board including bailey, so it actually makes kinda sense
Or how the surgeons worked in the clinic but not other doctors.
What ever happened to the dermatology won't, remember that! Everyone was calm and got face massages and cucumber water
Jackson not grieving over Lexie was so confusing to me. Like yes, he was sad over Mark which was understandable, but he barely talked about Lexie’s death and just moved on ;(

Actually the whole Lexie's death history was awful, and I'm not even talking about the way she died. I will say this one thousand times, their biggest mistake was killing off George. Imagine the potential character growth!! I could see him as a hot shot trauma surgeon. Makes me so angry
The actor didnt wanna do it no more
George wanted his character to be gay, but the director did not want that.

They may have been there for consults but they never helped out like everyone else does now
I thought she was only one year ahead lol
Luke Probert yea I’m in the hospital often (illness) and that’s one thing they got right in the earlier episodes. Surgeons don’t just hang around in the ER taking care of regular patients, they’re paged when the ER docs think the case is surgical. The show shouldn’t have changed that
@@armandosalazar-cardoso1150 Just because they're in the same class doesn't mean they interned together. I don't think it's ever implied Callie was an intern at Seattle Grace.

you know what triggered me the fact that Meredith didn’t let anyone else say goodbye to Derek
Yes! Like Amelia and the 10000 other family members Derek had (like the sister who donated her nerves) to say goodbye. Amelia was rightfully pissed.
Izzie leaving didn’t exactly create a plot hole ... she left everyone on a pretty bad note
I think they created the plot hole now by having Alex leave jo for her out of nowhere!
idk abt George :(
Alex told her to leave tho..
exactly, they didn't leave her, she left them and forgot about them🤷🏾♀️
I don’t think Meredith leaving after Derek died was a plot hole it was the lover of her life and it’s even more sad that she found out she was pregnant the day of his death she was going through it she needed some time.
Didn't Alex get a cushy job with a private practice that also help pay all his debt too.
I thought the same, like she kinda burned her bridges so I'm sure no one was trying to check on her

@@jessicajohnson3044 oh brother, no I don't think Susan lied. I think there are a lot of writers on Grey's and they either made an error or they purposefully decided to change the story. Alinka Mandarinka killing Lexie was a choice made by her actress though
What inconsistencies?
Stormborn it’s because the actress who played Lexie was pregnant
Stormborn not really. Shonda was told or decided that characters needed to be cut from the show. Chyler Leigh, who played Lexie, was asking to have some flexibility to be with her family more. Because of the pressures they had to cut actors, Lexie was killed off since she wasn’t able to give as much time as everyone else.
Personal Channel she never really said “hey I would like to no longer be on the show,” she just asked for less screen time and/or break.
Anyone mentioned how Teddy had a baby when her timeline makes her over 50 years old?
In one of the latest episodes she was already a resident in 2001, and if she was 25-27 then, she has to be 44-46 now, that's a risky pregnancy. I know the years in GA are not exactly passing like the real world, but Teddy has to be at least 40-ish, if not more
It was referred to as a 'geriatric pregnancy' by Carina DeLuca when she was in labor.
@@Jess4mab they call them geriatric pregnancies even when you’re in your early 30s

When all owned the hospital they continuously had board meeting as you see through season 10 but then it slowly disappeared when people start leaving so what happened because Christina left Derick died Cali and Arizona left so who is running everything???? I NEED ANSWERS
the fact that out of 4 characters you only spelled one right i-
Cristina left her shares to Alex and now those shares are jo’s, I know bailey has some shares and I believe dereks shares went to Meredith but other then that idk 😭
YESSSS! That bothers me so freaking much! I miss the board meetings
So as of season 18 the board is Mer (with 2x 15 million dollars worth of shares), Korasik (with the same as Mer), Baylie (with Christina’s shares), Richard (with I think 3 million worth of shares) and the Cathrine Fox foundation (with Cathrine herself as the rep.)
also like in some of jo flashbacks when she was a teen and shit everyone calls her jo so uhhhhhh thats another one
Ohhhhh you're right!
it could be that way because jo's memory just chooses to remember it with "jo" and not her real name.
I think Jo’s real name is Josephine Brook Wilson, which could explain why they call her Jo
Meredith only donated a piece of her liver, not her entire liver.
Of course she only donated a piece of her liver, she would be dead if she donated the entire liver. Only dead people donate entire lovers. You only have one unlike with kidneys. This video is saying you are not adviced to drink after this kind of surgery.
The show also states her liver would regenerate.
Sara Samaletdin actually living liver donors can drink as much alcohol as they want after donating. Well not immediately after surgery but in general.
@@shandymorris9703 well your liver will regenerate if you donate part of it

Her prosthetic leg
They actually showcased it in an episode that she got a more realistic looking prosthetic
That's not a "plot hole" but technically a director/producer error... none of these are "plot holes".
That’s just her prosthetic leg...
This video should be called “Things we didn’t notice because they’re all pointless” 😂
Well, she has one healthy one..
It's just a bit less likely.
h06anbjo Well, yeah, but Addison still said that Cristina wasnt able to get pregnant anymore
Doctors make mistakes alot when it comes to Fertility
@@ESTComicsEvolutions yeah but Addison is like the best obgyn in the world apparently, and this is basic af she shouldn't have made such a mistake
Amelia has always confused me. She’s suppose to have a horrific history of substance misuse dating back to when she was a teenager but she still managed to become a fully qualified attending neurosurgeon at what appears to be a relatively young age..... sure. Good to give your average junkie aspirations I suppose.
She wasn't a teenager, her addiction is shown in Private Practice
Giada Zanetti Derek mentioned a few times that Amelia’s substance misuse was an issue when she was a teenager
Giada Zanetti as said above, it was a relapse in private practice. I believe she mentioned it in GA as well with the Betty plot.
Alexandra Leigh also her mother did the exact same thing. Except pregnant with secret Maggie after Richard left her
It was odd to me because she'd never taken care of her children by herself, and chose to uproot them after losing their father. I wish they would have written like she went somewhere that she had support, not somewhere alone, grieving, while pregnant with two small children.
Mr. Schuester is Jo’s ex husband?
robert kristiansen omg i love glee, i was wondering how funny that is😂😂😂😂
Abusive, evil husband. He really took a dark turn.
And suzie peppers from glee, the girl who was in love with Will and went crazy when he rejected her, was played by Sara Drew. Sara Drew plays April Kepner. April Kepner pronounced Jo's ex-husband dead. Suzie peppers killed Mr. Schuester.
Alexis Bailey looks like Glee was a little more intense than I remember.

This last kiss isn't a pothole she says "I can't remember our last kiss " Derek says "what" she says "I can't remember our last kiss yaknow when we were together and happy " when they were happy not split unhappy kissing in the rain
Exactly my point
Meredith's vanishing after Derek dies makes perfect sense. Anyone who understands trauma or PTSD would understand. She reverted back to her default. I was particularly glad they had her do that....because that was realistic.
Ok, that lion one is just
nit-picking. They couldn’t find a real, lion actor with a missing tooth.
Isabelle Filion Editing is a thing... but nonetheless, it’s still not a significant series “plot hole”

Don't worry she'll be returning in season 28 when she decides to become a surgeon
Here's another one: At the first episode Mer and the other interns were told that medical residency will take them 7 years. However, it was changed to 5 years later on.
I think that included fellowship, but yes you're right.
1 year internship, 4 years residency and 2 years fellowship
Luke Probert isn’t it 1 year being an intern, 5 years of residency and 1 year of being a fellow?
i- being an intern is just your first year of residency, it isn't a whole different thing. intern = first year resident, and the 7 years includes fellowship
i think its two years of internship and 5 of residency he just counted the internship with the residency
nevermind Merediths age, what about Webber? He was planning to retire in season 1, yet he is still operating. How does that make sense? Is that even legal?
Saskia H. Ye and he stayed for 17 more seasons
You can retire when yo I want hahahah
He only wanted to retire to save his marriage to Adele not because of his age
Webber is 67 now, Adele wanted him to retire young because she was tired of having to share him with the job and wanted to spend more time together.
Lmao about this everytime lol.
@@karaliabrennan594 and somehow she still had a hospital bill???

Why was Kepner so “annoying” and outcasted when her and Izzie were so similar?

The Harper Avery award was explained by one of the showrunners! Apparently, there was a rule change that allows Meredith to win a Harper Avery and that's how she won. It was supposed to be mentioned in one of the episodes in the beginning of the season but they cut the scene out. So it's not really a plot hole ..
Didnt harper avery foundation become catherine fox foundation(which now owns the hospital) due to the sexual assault allegation against harper avery, wouldnt that mean theres no conflict of interest?

Lexi is portrayed as only being a year or two younger than Meredith. Wasn’t Meredith 5 when her dad left?
Omg that’s so true! I think she’s 2 years younger as she her intern year was the year after Merediths and it was mentioned that she skipped a year at school
Lol yeah I just rewatched the episode where Lexie mentions skipping the third grade
Yeah cause she said in one episode towards sloan, "24, I skipped 3rd grade"
Meredith also took breaks between college and med school, which accounts for more timw
Perhaps since Ellis was cheating with Richard Thatcher cheated on her and started a second family.

I'll always be a Grey's fanatic despite the plot holes.
MissEdna V damn so Meredith 41 years old
MissEdna V Maggie was like 5 or 6 years ahead of her classmates in high school and collage and yes she is very socially aquard and spoiled when it comes to have omg it her way .
Honestly? What would've been better was if Izzie just died from the cancer and George went into the army.
Izzie was a really frustrating character and they wrote her so badly. I felt sorry for the actress cos she's amazing and has one of the kindest smiles I've ever seen
Meredith probably had a mental breakdown and needed to leave. They probably would’ve tried to stop her if she told them. In a way, I don’t blame her.
It was what her mother did, also, when Richard broke up with her. She ran away to Boston.
This to me she reverted back to the Meredith that “runs” very much like Ellis did because she didn’t have Derek to stop her. It was literally on the post it. “No running”
I've been rewatching the series and one thing I noticed was that in season 15, Owen refused to go to therapy because he said he didn't think it worked but in Season 6, we see him go to many sessions with Dr.Wyatt and how he accepts her help and becomes a better person.
but he only goes when cristina allows him to make that decision on his own. Maybe that is why he does not want to go later

In the first season interns are under the supervision of a senior resident (aka Bailey). However, when Meredith&Co become second year residents, they already have to teach interns. Now interns are just randomly assigned to all of the attendings of the hospital, which really doesn't make any sense
Gaia THANK YOU
Bailey doesn't become an attending until season 6 I think.
This happens in almost every TV show, though. It's not that huge a deal
Can we go back to that part about the first 4 seasons all taking place in only 1 calendar year... What???
@@Bikebrh there are a lot of time jumps throughout the seasons, if you think about it, that in my opinion make up for the lost time:
1. After the shooting in season 6, they jump forward a few months, and we see that in the meantime cristina got engaged and Derek recovered from open heart surgery
2. After Callie and Arizona's car crash in season 7 (I think) callie recovers from massive surgery all during one episode, the episode covers her whole recovery process that lasted for weeks
3. In season 9, after the plane crash, months go by in the span of a couple of episodes, Arizona recovers from her amputation, mark gets better and then worse, and the whole lawsuit and buying out the hospital happens
5. Season 11, like you mentioned, buys the show an entire year
6. After meredith gets beaten up and has her jaw wired shut (cant remember the season) I had the impression that many weeks went by in the span of one episode
@@mariaelenamattone5221 and in early season 6 after George dies there was a time skip
Don’t forget that watching it makes you wanna buy a beeper although you KNOW they’re outdated 📟
Just noticed a inconsistency on a rewatch.. when alex beat up andrew, maggie went to call his mother because they know eachother.
But in later episodes we learn that his mother has died long before.
I dont know who she called but if it was his mom it was veeeery long distance
Obviously she used a Ouiji board ✋🙄
Jo’s name isnt a plothole... he would find her because her testimony would be public record and in her testimony she would most likely be asked why she was drinking, why deluca was there and what she said to him, which was that she was previously married!!!
Jacey Mismash thank you! I’m glad someone caught that!
But if her name was changed completely he wouldn’t know it was her unless it was televised or something. He would have to know her new name for that I would think
But at some point someone would ask her for the name of her husband
Itsyourgurl B court proceedings are usually typed/written by a scribe and all of them are public record.
My thoughts exactly! I guess they need to watch it a few more times like the rest of us
You should do one of these for Law and Order SVU. That's 21 years to keep track of, I'm sure there's a plot hole or three or ten there to explore. lol
Karisi(not sure how to spell his name) played a criminal early on in the show before he became an officer. That has always bothered me lmao
Mir G They recycle actors a lot on that show. Carisi isn’t the first main character who’s actor played another character on the show before. Novak played a business woman accused of raping a man in season 3 or 4 and Rollins played a rape victim in season 7 or 8.
@@MegaBlue3 Yep
@@MegaBlue3 the guy who plays William lewis was on the shows several years prior and that bothered me, but he was good so I'll allow it lol
A big plot hole was that Stephanie Edwards couldnt open the emergency exit door without her card. Shouldnt all doors unlock during a fire...
It also cost Catherine a proposal from Richard. Richard was super mad when he found out Cristina had been robbed like that.
How come nobody is talking about Arizona's leg? They all acted like it somehow grew back.
Yeah they always called her a prodigy and sometimes they said how old she was in medschool but I don't remember. It was really young though
Lianspain she skipped third grade. I remember the scene where she tells Mark.
And also the one about Maggie’s timeline because msmojo sounds shocked even though it LITERALLY SAYS IN THE SHOW THAT MAGGIE WENT TO COLLEGE AT 14! 🙄 god this channel gets everything wrong
It really does
One thing I’ve always wondered about is about Zola.
Not all their kisses was on camera you know 🙄
yeah they were it's a show-
I feel like the kiss thing between Derek and Meredith is irrelevant because things are discussed in TV shows that aren’t actually shown
It’s also wrong because the cut out the next line she says to fit their narrative. She says she can’t remember their last HAPPY kiss
I don't think they stayed in Boston for the entire childhood
Maggie was a super smart child, the show mentions that all the time. She skipped several years in school and graduated really young.
Meredith was able to get the harper avery award because he died and the rules changed.. He was alive when Christina got nominated.
but didn’t meredith win before before harper died
Well didn't Catherine make the rule that stopped Cristina from winning in the first place? Harper was never involved in the owning of the hospital- they basically gave that entire responsibility to Catherine. So the fact that Catherine didn't let Cristina win but let Meredith win shows favoritism. Maybe even racism towards Cristina.
Something that i found out that really annoyed me was that Katherine was supposed to film at her death scene at the end of season 6, but never showed up. If she had died Alex wouldn’t have had to leave 😭
Well he still would have left cuz Justin Chambers left the show but the writers couldn’t have used that shitty reasoning of an exit
also remember when alex first found “Ava” he said that she had brown eyes and not blue but when we get to see her face in other episodes her eyes are blue
A lot of these aren’t “plotholes”
Derek was the reason Meredith changed in the first place. So it would make sense if she went back to old Meredith when he died.
Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show ever, despite some painful deaths and actors leaving ..
I miss watching Christina and Callie on screen😢
Mer leaving actually makes perfect sense she did the same thing her mother did which was a very smart move when mers father went out of the picture her mother left and had a secret baby mer did the same thing after the love of her life died she left and had a baby but she kept the baby and came back showing that she’s better than her mother but greys always run
The Harper Avery was not a plot hole. They found out that Christina didn't get it because of the conflict issue and then the hospital appealed the decision and won, meaning that they were now eligible. I think Christina even got her Harper Avery in the end.
How come no one ever mentions the big age difference between Meredith (about 40) and DeLuca (about 30)?
there were soooo many big age gaps in relationships on the show. between any attending & intern there would be at least 10 years and we all know how often that happened
How is that a plot hole? Age differences are not a big deal. Might have been an unethical or unprofessional choice if she was his superior (which I guess she was) but since when has that stopped anyone on this show 😂
And? It was a round the same for Meredith and Derek and countless other relationships
3 months ago bringing up izzie leaving alex and all those medical bills... and now alex left jo for izzie... yuck.
Not really for izze but to give his kids two parents like always wabted he explains that alot in the letters however im pissed they removed him he was my favorite character and very bad way of getting rid of him it think it was a terrible idea
I dont know why but i ended Up hating Izzie
Yeah, I didn't get that she broke up with Alex in a note based on a piece of a conversation she had with Richard. Who does that? Plus she was stupid to give ALL the money away that Denny left her. I'm all for giving to a good cause but she should have kept a few million for herself. And she was fired in less than a year, she needed money. And what happened to the climic? I don't hear anything about it anymore? Major plot hole
Raephaele Masirnille Alex worked in the clinic while waiting for his trial, so it still exists
Me too.
@@raephaelemasirnille5794 so you hate her for donating money?
@@a_noellesIts like you didn't read my comment. I clearly said I'm all for donating to a good cause but Izzie should not have given ALL her money away. She should have kept a couple of million for herself. When you make a donation do you empty your bank account? And I never said I hated Izzie. I actually like that her and Alex ended up together.
from what I understand Izzie was supposed to die in the shooting episode. Remember Alex was calling her and she wouldn't pick up the phone? the reason being was because she was already dead. Katherine Heigl didn't show up to shoot that episode so they just left it out.
