hi hello hi! I can't stop thinking about 80s, 90s, and early 2000's era j.crew ads/catalogs. especially for fall 2023 fashion inspo. I love how laid back the style is but how intentional the styling and accessories are!! the ultimate inspo for fall comes from the coolest prep preppy preparer vibes this year for me. the parkas, anoraks, rain boots, plaid, belts, hats, all of it!!

I loved this video so much! I collect vintage fashion catalogues (mainly from the 90s & early 2000s) so it was so much fun to see the vintage J Crew ads and have you analyze them in-depth. I would love to see you create outfits from them too! For the Barn coat, I also see them listed as "Chore Coats" so you could try searching that phrase instead to get different results.

Sometimes less is truly more!! I have been loving J. Crew’s vintage advertising. I used to work for J. Crew and I learned so much about classic style and how sometimes the most simple pieces can make such a bold statement. Fast fashion tells you that you constantly need to be loud and in-your-face to make a statement and that’s simply not true! Love this video and love seeing other people appreciate the ads too! 🥹

ahhh this is great! I recently thrifted a beautiful 80s bright red cotton work coat! It’s one of my favorite clothing items now and I haven’t been able to even wear it yet 😅 it’s so simple and primary it looks like a cartoon character costume, like jane in daria. anyway, great vid and this is perfect styling advice for when it finally gets cold!!
