  • This trip to Limestone, ME includes a run down the abandoned runway at Loring Air Force Base.
My last snowmobiling adventure of the 2020 2021 season begins in Houlton, Maine. My 09 Yamaha Vector is right at home on the Northern Maine potato fields and wooded trails. This video also features my Garmin inReach Explorer Plus, which helps me navigate around and into the abandoned Loring Air Force Base. After a bit of a rough ride into Presque Isle I head back to Houlton in a 180 mile round trip.

Great vid. We we amalzed at how much snow was up there for the last days of winter. Still 3 ft of ice for fishing!

Thank you! It is crazy how much difference a few hundred miles makes in the snow. Even so, I was really lucky to get one more ride in.

Thank you for a '21 vid of the county. Couldn't ride this winter. It was great to see. The one thing you didn't show was the Skidoo dealer next to the hotel hehe.

Awesome video. May I ask what trail was that off 81 North that took you to Loring?

I dont remember the exact trail but it's the one that goes around the Aroostook Wildlife Refuge and circles back to the runway trail.

Check out the Nuclear Weapon Storage area and history at ruclips.net/video/jUgQin1Vu6w/видео.html. You were riding quite close to it in this video
