1:50 Adam said "I'm sick" Couldn't even tell he was sick. He put on a great show. He didn't let the band and audience down. What a pro. It's great that the New Zealanders organized this performance. Such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. Definitely a memorable experience for the band n crew.
Awwww Looks like Adam was worried about passing on his illness to the dancers. What a wonderful experience for them - that was so nice of them to perform that for QUeen & Adam - that means a lot.
How sweet! The surprise and reaction of the band. Adam was rumored to be sick, so he prob didn't want to get anyone else sick. As usual you'd never know it by his performance!! Slay!
OH I STILL LOVE THIS! Just look at their mesmerized faces, their open mouths. Adam gets into the rhythm early one an later the others.. what a magical moment!!
I dont know what really its means but we know's that its a honeur for them to dance for Queen + Adam so its a beautiful surprise for Brian et Roger because they know's how to tell them hello with there nose lolll
Adam was visited by a doctor Wed. night.......so possibly he had a bit of a cold and didn't want to expose any of the dancers (?)....conjecture here, of course.......
The nose rub is called a hongi and is a traditional Maori greeting. It is not fun when you have a cold...the one and only time I have done a proper hongi (on a Marae...a Maori meeting house), I had a cold and I hated every second of it. Adam has my full sympathy if he was sick.
It is a traditional Maori war dance called the haka. In modern times, it is used as a challenge by the New Zealand rugby team, the All Blacks before a match (it is my favourite part of a rugby game). In this case it would have been used to celebrate a victory (an awesome Queen concert) or to welcome them. Look up Ka Mate and you should find the translation of what they are saying: Something like: I die, I die, I live, I live, etc.

Confirmed by Brian. A doc was called in to see him after the final show
Adam is so magnificent... like a real prince...
And this is the first time I've heard Rufus talking. Didn't know he has such a low voice
Impressive welcoming display by the Maori with their warrior dance. Their fierceness and energy are palpable.

I first thought that Brian leaned in for a kiss
Freddie would have loved that! Love the Haka & great to see it done properly too
Great ! Class ! Welcome noses -- SUPER ! In Maori it that way.... Queen and Adam were stunned ! :))
I love that Brian and Roger looked like they were thinking wtf is going on and Adam just looked like he was into it
Brian was so mesmerised by it , and just like him to go in first and honour them with a traditional greeting .
