"A wise man told me that holdin' a grudge is like
Lettin' somebody just live inside of your head rent-free" Royce Da 5'9"
So fucking true no matter what. It takes hearing it reading it, and saying it back to yourself to understand the whole meaning if this.
But what he says after is that he doesn't believe in it because he got no time to evict his enemies out of his head unless he crushes them.
This speaks to me lol
Some grudges are meant to be held like a nigga killing ur son so I can’t agree with this one
and the grudge lives in the attic rent free, but yall aint ready to hear that.
8 years passed, but still can't get a single word out of Danny Brown's mouth
I gave up and pulled up the Lyrics 😂

All you need to know is that you need to represent the 313 and honor the phantom stripper pole :)
That big Sean line “we been laboring for years I know it took way longer than 9 months but fuck it it’s all in due time” is just so damn fireeee it gets me every time 🔥🔥🔥🔥
“My homie wanted a Chevy so I put my dog in a Vet” 🔥🔥🤮🐶
@@messcott4849this line went over my head for years. I didn’t get it till you pointed it out 😂 😅
“Hah plus I’m so loyal that that paper boy is all that I fetch, if the ball in my hand then the ball in the net.”

Eminems flow is fucking raw here. Loving the old school style of this. Some people don't appreciate anything.
HEY you TYLER DURDEN EMINEM IS 42 YRS OLD BUT HE IS BETTER THEN YOUR ASS BITCH
What I thought Edward Norton killed you!

True but do you know what raw means NO raw means it's good and ok
OfficialToxicDzn hey dude I think you are mentioning the wrong person look at my comment and look at the guy above me. He is the one who was talking shit not me.
Royce is so underrated .........
Nobody know him in Europe except some (very rare) people who know Bad Meets Evil... I listen Em' since begin so I knew who is Royce. He's one of the best rapper, and if you want my opinion only 3 rappers (alive) can pretend to be "better" than him (no name, except Eminem).
+Oscar Larsen Maybe we are exceptions ;) I'm from Belgium, and people who know him are a minority (very rare)
I know him to, i live in holland C;
+Roy King Big Sean got carried hard. lol
***** Not sure, but I wish he would get the launch he deserves, but hip hop is at age the majority of listeners are not trying to figure out compound complex rhymes, which on one hand I guess you have to respect it, on the other hand, I personal don't like the approach taken by a lot of artist.
Eminem isn’t from this this planet. Where is he from again ??🙄 2024 hands up 🙌
🖐 he way up somefarkingwhere and nobody ever gonna find him on a level uncomprehendable 💯💯💯
Still one of the greatest Detroit collabs to ever happen. Everyone murdered this
Big Sean so damn slept on. This why Em shouted him out in The Ringer.
Big Sean/Royce/Em absolutley fucking murdered this. What a lineup, what a track.
He looks like Dave Chappelle's Tyrone Biggums character in this video. Lol
I dont much about him but his verse here was pretty weak. Not impressed at all. But then again, he was on a track with Em and Royce so it's kinda hard to shine between those 2.
Jonathan Reynolds Sean’s flow change at the end of his verse was beautiful
@@muthatukka6525 It wasn't bad, just not enough to impress me.

A lesser known fact : Royce was first offered a record deal by Dre, but he turned it down. Few years ago, Royce revealed it to be his biggest regret! Remember, everything Dre touches turns into gold (Eazy, Snoop, Tupac, Eminem, 50, Kendrick). Regardless, Royce is dope af, I can only imagine how great he would have been if his albums were produced by Dre too.
Thanks for reading, Have a good Day :)
i mean he still got to work with eminem and some other big artists
so he still known, also he is one of the best lyrically wise and flow wise
he might even be almost as good as marshall he is just not as popular
but alot of people still know who he is
and he could work with dre if he wanted to probably
He actually didnt discovered 50, eminem did...you can research it to
@@LordiGodess the producer who signed Royce first was not on good terms with Dre, yet Royce accepted his deal...well Royce and Dre aren't enemies bt it is highly unlikely that Dre will produce any of Royce's albums or tracks....and yeah, Royce is still widely known and is listed at no. 31 on greatest MCs list....btw Royce has contributed many lyrics for the likes of Dre

Em is the best rapper. Y'all haters will laugh at me when I say this but when he is gone, you will Realize how bad mainstream music has become. Em is a true wordsmith,he has had several different rapping styles over the past 15+ years and he has mastered them all,and to all of you complaining about his new style, just be thankful that he is still here...
But there are better people out there.
He has been on the decline for a while. J Ole and Logic are on the come up.
Damien Lee It's not even that though, like there is always going to be someone bigger and better. Like Em did his time and innovated Hip-hop when he was in his prime but now he's kinda done. Time for a new generation to build on what our forefathers have done to progress.
Trust me there are way better people out there that aren't in mainstream.
While I agree he's definitely a master of wordsmith, I do also think he's been on a decline. It's really the content but the lyricism technics are there if that makes sense lol
when will Eminem get his diamond play button?
I don't think VEVO accounts get diamond play buttons.
he probably has it's just he hasn't revealed it because nobody hears from him or sees him lol
He won't cause he don't got a RUclips channel this is vevo's channel
+Logan Jones true
lol
How has em stayed relevant through so many eras of hip hop
The thing I love about Eminem’s verse is that there’s multiple moments that’d be the perfect place to end a verse, but he just… keeps going. It’s crazy how the tension ramps up that way.
Everyone killed it but Big Sean went harder than usual
That's cuz he's with more detroit rappers
That's because Eminem is on the song
I didn’t like his verse at the start but it got pretty good towards the middle

Unfortunately, I cannot understand what he is rapping. :(
Also failing/felon.... Danny killed his whole verse and made references that only people from Detroit would get. He also stayed with the "school of hard knocks" literal school theme throughout the verse. People pre judged without really listening or it went over their heads.
