Sorry it didn't live up to the hype in the very end. Glad you loved the event, man that took some work to get cool. And getting OG Jailbreak to operate at all took weeks of surgery with old code that didn't function. I actually didn't know what happened when the 2B challenge ended, as it was never super testable. In hindsight I wish we did a short dialog conversation at the top of the screen, like the live event has, to explain what actually happened: The players raised the cash and our secret crime syndicate was able to undo much of the damage to the future while also chasing the CEO away from doing things of this destructive nature in the future. I only mentioned the secret criminal force so that it made sense as to why you're raising money. Raising money just because isn't too exciting. Also, the CEO wasn't actually defeated, that was something Badcc put into that reward message that I didn't know existed! If I had known I would have taken that out. The CEO remains at large. Players can continue fighting him in the mansion. Again, wish I had more forethought to look at that but my mind was in 20 other places hoping this live event would go off without a hitch. What ever the community says I as a OG player think this update/live event was epic. I can’t even put in to words how epic this event was and the OG Jailbreak map is so much fun to play like I did back then and relive all those memories.
I loved the live event with the aliens and use ing there new NPC code. I also loved how now after the live event you can still see some of the aliens on the ground too!
There could still be hope of more being released. We have 20 days until og jailbreak is gone so maybe thats the time they need in order to finish some sort of big lore drop update or something. It seemed as if they THOUGHT 2B was enough to keep players interested until og jailbrak was gone and a huge event would drop. They really seemed very surprised when we reached the 2B so early (and they can't really increase it or else it wll decrease player motivation and create a lot of backlash. Point is, we cant be too quick to judge until the 20 days are up.
Don’t get me wrong, the boss battle and actual live event was super fun! And so was returning to OG jailbreak. But like you said, I kinda expected us to travel forwards in time to kill the CEO once and for all. And also I think it’s a bit of a bummer that there’s no real incentive to play OG jailbreak after like 5 minutes. It’d be cool if they let us at-least bring some OG items back to the normal game when the event is done. All In All though, I still enjoyed the live event and am having fun playing OG jailbreak!
I expected the other 50% of the map (crater city side) to be filled up with new stuff as its pretty empty. The live event was amazing but the main update for the game was pretty much nothing. I also expected for the season leveling system to revert back to the old system (but i dont mind tbh) considering the theme was OG and that we will be back to season 1 all over again lol.
hey noobfreak, I completely agree with you, the live event was great but it felt like a first half. When we got sucked in for the first 5 minutes me and my friends were asking if the live event was over. OG jailbreak could easily be cooler if you could get other rewards for playing such as the og Camaro. 1 more thing is that I think u should switch to Fortnite, if u ever wanna duo some time I’d be down!

I was SUPER excited when I saw that Jailreak would be having a live event in a few weeks, because I had seen the one from 2020 and it looked incredible, and now I had the chance to see one of them live!!! Like I said, I was super hyped up about this event because I told all my friends about it and invited them to join my livestream. And like you said, the first part of the event with the aliens and spaceships was phenomenal, but I was a little confused when I saw the notification you were talking about for the exact same reasons. I mean, I was literally playing the game when that notification popped up, and because nothing else happened, I just kind of ignored it and hoped that something more exciting would happen later. But I’ve now confirmed that the notification was the end of the live event…oh well.

They should've brought the DeLorean in OG jailbreak, and when the players reached 2B cash, it would say something like "We have to go Back to the Future!", that would be neat.
ive absolutely loathed badimos insistence on jailbreak having lore ever since the mansion was added. Its a sorry excuse for a story that Asimo cant improve upon for the life of him, so in my mind it makes sense that the ending is so insultingly anticlimactic. And to think that this is the finale to jailbreak as a whole is putrid. they should just be honest to the players and admit that they can't write to save their lives rather than lying to people about jailbreak having story because it just doesn't.

The live event is a great job but I’m not happy about the updates after the event😡The only thing we got is basically OG Jailbreak, and it will not be permanently available😭Although I started playing since 2022, I still think OG Jailbreak is fun. I wish OG Jailbreak can be there forever and more new features in the main game❤
It wouldve been cool if like 2 days prior to the event, all cars automatically have the old armour texture because it would have fit it well and give even more hype than there already was My way to improve the event wouldve been to start by the mansion and attack the ceo one last time for us to actually follow him this time as he goes into his computer and contacts the aliens which wouldve hopefully made it longer, the main event wouldve played out however once reaching the 2billion cash count, an extra mission/event to chase down the ceo and finally take him out once and for all
The event was cool but I feel like jailbreak should bring two versions. One og one like 2020, and make us have our progress back then. And one now, with the new stuff. I also feel like Jailbreak is using nostalgia to make us grind again. The reason they put the monster truck as a reward was to give us motivation to grind.
Ngl I kinda thought a nuke would be launched along with the volcano exploding, a meteor strike happening and of course the aliens but the event was good
they might still do a part 2 once the 20 days is over. what im thinking is that 1 hour before the game goes away a message will pop up saying "The special task force is coming" (something like that) and then we get teleported to the main game and then we fight aliens, and maybe even fight them on a moon or something
My idea on how to fix this : make a giant portal somewhere on the map, let players go inside and just make it take them back to the fitgh with the aliens, then in the middle of it make a screen effect and give the players sci fi equipment to kill the aliens again and then let them go back to today and just close off the portals

I wish I was smarter back then and had the knowledge to grind for the torpedo or arachnid, of course I was only 7-8 years old when the game came out and had no idea how seasons worked or what you had to do to earn xp, now I regret not playing the game more often.
Should've added all the OG cars and everyone that you buy in OG Jailbreak transfers back to current Jailbreak. (Except the Volt Bike, that car is an absolute mess)

I definitely agree that the plot could've been thickened at little bit, and I wish there was more to do in OG Jailbreak. I really want some motivation to grind to OG volt bike, just to mess around with it, since I joined JB way after volt bike was fixed, but I just can't find any. Really fun live event overall though, no regrets about taking part!
i was actually talking to someone in ur discord server, and we were talking abt how you could get the og lambo. personally, i agree with you. there should be a part 2, and i would honestly love to see how the alien ceo stuff ends. also, if they’re having us raise 2B cash, at least make the whole modern day jailbreak map look destroyed. well played, and laid out, but the outcome of what happens after the event just bores me because i want to know how we stop the invasion, i want to know who the task force is. also, i think that either two things should happen. the first one being that if you bought any vehicles in OG jailbreak, you get to choose only 1 to keep. the second one being that you should be able to win other prizes but you actually have to work for them. don’t make the prizes like the hunt difficulty, but don’t make it as easy as the OG lambo was to get. one last thing before i go. as I mentioned this earlier, it does not look 2B cash to fix a couple damages. either make the required cash more, or make the rising city have more damage done to it, because anyone who watched the live event would know that jailbreak was completely attacked. and im sure everyone who watched the event thought how much damage the map would have done to it.

I was very excited with all these alien stuff thinking we will go through all jailbreak years and have an epic boss fight but unfortunately we only went to 2019 and it ended pretty quick which made me extremely disappointed. The alien invasion was super cool but it felt a little empty for a big finale live event. They start invading and you fight them but you don't have to since they like making NPCs overpowered so you can just watch until they go away, no point in fighting the big boi since you won't defeat it, then its just watching the map get destroyed until the portal finishes then its over. I feel like they could've done way more and the ideas I heard about merging parts of all the previous live events into one before going back in time would've been so cool. Still enjoyed it but had wasted potential. Its also dumb how it ends. Go back to 2019 and raise 2 billion so we can stop the CEO and the aliens! You reach that goal and when you go back a message just pops up saying you defeated the CEO then that's it....... I also hate how you can't play og Jailbreak in your VIP servers, public servers are just so toxic and aren't fun so unless you wanna be in 2024, you gotta suck it up and deal with the toxicity.

7 years of world building and lore built up to a small text box telling you the ultimate villain was defeated off screen thru no direct intervention of your own. While I personally never had any huge investment into the story/lore of Jailbreak, I can agree this was very lame

I don't think we will, but I'm hopeful ALRIGHT TIN FOIL HAT TIME: so the devs told us to get 2B cash by both STEALING and collecting BOUNTIES which means someone WANTS us to steal stuff and someone WANTS us to collect bounties, but there can't be two different sides for both teams right??? This further confirms the "theory" (its fact trust me bro) that the devs and CEO are working together to make more money!1!!1! So in reality we just got scammed and they bought 600,000 cheap lambos to make us FEEL like we are getting something out of it, when in reality we are just making CEO an Badimo richer. this was their MASTER PLAN so they dont have to keep working on jb and they have enough money for the rest of their lives
