In today’s video I’m attempting the chrome drip look. I extended the nail using the same polygel I used for the original set, I’ll live the link for the forms and other products I used below. let me know how you feel about the hole process of creating these nails.

The gel products used in the video are by a South African brand called “Maskscara” unfortunately they don’t ship internationally but I will leave product descriptions below if you’re a local viewer and interested in getting your hands on them🫶🏽

Hi, what type of alcohol do you use for the poly gel? Can you just use regular monomer or should we use alcohol?
Hi there🙂
I use Rubbing alcohol from Dischem but you can totally use monomer, it works just as well. I just like to give my self a break from the strong smell from monomer.

Wait, did you apply top coat after the black polish before you added chrome powder? Or did you just apply it directly on the black tacky polish ?
I applied it directly on the tacky layer…how I do it now though is I mix a little bit of non wipe topcoat with the black gel, it makes the chrome shine even more🙂
Where do you get your art brushes if I may ask?
I get them from Shien…they’ve been really good so far🙂
you mentioned you wasnt happy with it they looked good to me looks like you dipped your finger in chrome.does the sponge help where the Chrome won't have glitter in it? because I have a chrome i was going to throw away because it has glitter in it like yours. I was wondering how to still work with it to give the Chrome effect without the glitter.
I’m so glad you noticed that, my chrome power definitely has the little glitter and it sucks…lol I found the sponge to be very effective. Give it a try before you toss your chrome and please let me know how it goes💖🙂

Lol…it depends on the set but I’d say between 4 and 5hrs
How long does your polygel last?
I usually take it off at 4 weeks but I’m sure it can go for longer.
