On a practical level taking some regular time to be and connect with yourself will help to provide a foundation of sensitivity and acceptance for when the triggers come. It’s good to have a safe space where you can do that. You can sit, lie down, or move, dance, shake, release, breathe, sound, etc, up to you, with the proviso that you’re not trying to get rid of uncomfortable feelings but rather befriending them. Your mind might go crazy, just try not to feed it, which includes trying to figure out anything or adding any ‘spiritual’ overlay, which is really more resistance. I may or may not be feeling that I am consciousness or open awareness etc, it doesn’t matter and it’s not a conceptual idea, the felt sense of that will emerge in its own time, as you create more space inside.
Ive past trauma that just tiggered again anxiety kicked in again with negative thoughts and sleepless nights!I fought these sensations,thoughts and emotions and realise now i should of let the emotions and feelings be!Excellent video thanks for it!
Thank you I’m sure this can work with frustration too? Your videos of awareness have been helpful to recognize my emotions and to “melt” them away… repression sucks lol.
Easier said than done. When you have such a huge fear of the physical symptoms and thoughts it’s so hard to just accept those things. That’s why I am stuck in this cycle. It’s so frustrating. Been dealing with this for 5 years now. I just want my life back.
