    Incredible, I like the way the state government has been deliberate in developing the mainland, most especially the Ikeja administrative division.
    Please could you update us on the ongoing Ojota-Mende-Maryland link bridge and also the second phase of the Blue line of the light rail starting from Mile 2 to Okomaiko. Great lad 👍

    Brilliant idea supported by a brilliant video. As Oliver Twist, I believe the government can add elevators to ease the lift for some elderly and physically challenged people. I've always dreamt about public access elevators in places like Oshodi and Ikeja for a start. It should encourage more people to avoid running across the expressway. Even if you have to pay a small maintenance token like for public toilets.

      Or a travelator, which works for everybody. Just something to give us that additional come-and-see Lagos vibe. European cities like Austria have had it for many years.

    Nice work.. But how will the brt corridor be sustained with the new bridge taking up a sizable chunk of the road. Still wondering how LASG will handle that

    • @AfamOrji
      @AfamOrji  2 месяца назад

      Actually, the brishe does not take takenany chunk of the road. It goes iver the express straight into the Ikeja train station.

    If i am the governor of Lagos State, I will make sure I turn the city into the best city in Aftica. All the dilapidated roads will be fixed, mark and traffic light, all the sidewalk will be tiles and plant greenery in every Street and make sure the zebra crossing is enforce.
    Based on what I saw in the video, the city is still more like I left it 20 years ago.
    The only change is the rail system.

    Ridiculious,people are not going to use that bridge after a few weeks.Why 3 level of height when they could have easily brought the thing down from the first or second height?Nigerian governments hardly build anything,when they do,it is not covenient for the people,they don't design things with the people lifestyle in mind.Thank you.

      i'll be frank, i don't use bridges ever cuz they're just a hassle to climb(unless KAI are there), why climb them when i can literally cut right through the road in the shortest possible time? just add zebra crossings with like pedestrian lights with timers or something. But you do have a point, this bridge is ridiculously long, so much so that i don't even see the point, it might just become a homeless/beggars encampment in a year(and who is going to maintain and sweep it?😂). anyhow sha they are doing something, we'll take anything at this point🤣

      It is easier to criticize. So you think it is convenient for the govt to waste money on the long length and the height of the bridge if it is not necessary? Try to consider that some articulated trucks do carry items whose heights are almost competing with the pedestrian bridge and with the slim space that is left because of the fly overbridge, the length is key.
