As a music snob, I would love it if you redid the guitar riff. However, it isn't really that noticeable. It isn't like you biffed it, it's just the incorrect notes.. but still notes in the key. It works just fine and is so close to the original it won't matter to most people, so the choice to do it is most likely up to you. Though I will say, when you AND the sax play it at the end, it does sound a little crunchy
As a musician and JoJo fan here, I agree with you. I love this and it can be improved!
