The last year I've been terribly sedentary and needless to say am terribly out of shape. These videos are a god-send. I have been continuously using your wonderful video workouts for well over a year ....started with 5x per week but have condensed the sessions to 3 days by doubling up on the videos - I can do multiple sessions using different vids. I couldn't do it without your variety - types of workouts/strength/cardio/with and without weights etc. Your contribution to my health and well being is a complete blessing!!!! Just turned 60 and getting over a nasty virus. Lauren's are the best to get back into feeling stronger and more flexible again. When I'm feeling better, I combine Lauren and Pahla B workouts. Gentle and push. It's a perfect combo.

Pilates is great! True, I did not quite succeed in one exercise - lifting the body without using my hands, but I managed to enjoy the workout as a whole and from the knowledge that I completed all the workouts according to the plan for this week (along with this, I also did other workouts this is my favorite channel). And I’ve already familiarized myself with the plan for the beginning of September; almost everything is new to me, which means it won’t be boring! Totally LOVED this floor pilates as I’m exhausted from Fibromyalgia and it’s only getting worse as I age. This gave me a tiny bit of energy, hopefully enough to watch my 3 yr old Grandaughter in a bit & then my older Grandaughter when the school bus comes as the 2 Grandsons go with their Mommy for an appt for 1 of them. I am getting really tired of daily pain & extreme fatigue but push through everything with sitting rest breaks inbetween. Thank you so much for this practice Lauren. I only do shorter videos of pilates, barre, yoga for the most part and maybe a little cardio as I feel I can. God Bless you💜💙🩵💚💛🧡❤️🩷

Hi Lauren, I recently found your channel and I’m truly enjoying it. I love the walking workouts, but my ultimate favorite is the kickboxing. I’m 62 and I have been kickboxing for 12 years, but recently due to arthritis in my neck and spine it had become difficult. Since I found your workout especially geared towards seniors I am back to exercising 6 days a week doing my favorite cardio, strength, kickboxing; and of course walking. Hello again Lauren, yesterday I did your pilates chair workout which was my first with you. As I said in my comment of that first video, I am in an orthopedic walking boot due to ankle injury. Today, I did this mat workout as best as I could with my 2.5 pound added weight, ya this boot is heavy!!! But ever so slowly, I managed to move my whole body. So, while I am missing the best part of hiking in the forest with my dog in this beautiful Fall weather, I can honestly say that, thanks to your gentle workouts, I can maintain my physical form to the best that I can, and also... my sanity... I really enjoy your calm, zen energy, along with a very relaxing music...it's a feeling of meditation in movement...You are a Godsend... 😍😇
I have recently discovered your arm and upper body workouts and they are wonderful. I used to always exercise using free weights but had an injury to my hand 2 years that left me unable to hold the dumbell in that hand. I have been using weighted kickboxing gloves for these workouts and it makes me feel like I am doing more of a workout. I would love to see some more ab exercises, standing or seated.
Great idea with the weighted gloves Rebecca! If you look under the "core/ab" playlist, you will find the standing and seated ab workouts. I also have a new all standing arms & abs workout coming next week. Should be perfect for you! Another idea it do the standing pilates routines. They also incorporate a lot of core!
Gorgeous thank you Lauren 😊 I’ve done lots of Pilates over the years but having enjoyed a number of your classes this was my first time selecting a Pilates session. It was tough at times - usually I avoid getting down on the mat but really felt the benefit so definitely one to repeat👍
Thank you for telling me this would be appropriate for an active rest day Lauren. I decided to do it today after Kettlebell yesterday and I am now needing to break in my custom made arch supports an extra hour a day until I wear them all day. Felt good to be barefoot on the mat.

My neighbour is obsessed with Outlander and read all the books before the series came oot. I’ve not partaken as yet. You can fly into Dalcross Airport near the Highland Capital of Inverness. Then the highlands are on your doorstep. However, if you fly into the lowlands (Glasgow) then you can have the chance to travel by car up the A9 and experience the incredible beauty of Highland Perthshire and then up through our incredible National Park - the Cairngorms. 51 years of life and Scotland continues to take my breathe away. That’s just the scenery - don’t even get me started on our wildlife!!! X😘 do you know where your ancestors hail from? 🏴 xxx

@@SeniorShapeFitness Beautiful areas set in the Lowlands - which I believe is where Outlander is filmed. You are more than welcome here if you come to the Highlands to explore. By then, hopefully, I will be so much stronger with following your workouts. We are a very small country, but each area is so completely different. There is so much to discover. Our only negative parts are our weather (which can be wild, wet & very cold) and our midge - the wee beasties are everywhere on the West Coast, which is undoubtedly the most glorious part of Scotland. It is like they don't' want visitors to come. 😂 xxx

Felt so good to get through a workout and feel good and not worn out at the end. Ya know Lauren, I cannot do a real proper roll up. We talked about how I was going to do the splits by the time I was 60, I am so close (( How are you with that now?)) but gonna add on Roll up with extended legs (that is hard girl) but Im gonna do it!!
I love your positive attitude Tracy! Regarding the splits: it's funny as I have gotten older, it's not the flexibility in my hamstrings, it's the hips that are tight! More hip flexor stretching for me!

I don't know about a whole video on breathing techniques, but I can to remember to incorporate it more in my videos! You can find your favorites in your library which is located in your settings.

I have a question. Is there something I can do in place of being on my hands and knees? I had a partial knee a year ago and it is uncomfortable to be on my hands and knees
Sure Lisa, you can modify some of the moves in a standing position. It’s helpful to lean your hands against a wall and take a few steps back with your feet
This workout starts on your hands and knees. With ancient acl reconstructions and an old wrist fracture this is not for me. I practice daily. Still searching for an app/instructor so I dont have to do my own planning. Anyone know of one?
Thank you for your workouts. I've added them to my routine. But you know that laying on your side and holding your head in your hand is really poor alignment. Better to prop yourself all the way up on your elbow or lay completely on your side. Thanks again.
It’s not great if you have osteoporosis. But in my opinion it’s fine if you don’t have to maintain a straight spine and it’s comfortable for you. Glad you are enjoying my workouts Robin 🤩

@@SeniorShapeFitness Beautiful areas set in the Lowlands - which I believe is where Outlander is filmed. You are more than welcome here if you come to the Highlands to explore. By then, hopefully, I will be so much stronger with following your workouts. We are a very small country, but each area is so completely different. There is so much to discover. Our only negative parts are our weather (which can be wild, wet & very cold) and our midge - the wee beasties are everywhere on the West Coast, which is undoubtedly the most glorious part of Scotland. It is like they don't' want visitors to come. 😂 xxx

Felt so good to get through a workout and feel good and not worn out at the end. Ya know Lauren, I cannot do a real proper roll up. We talked about how I was going to do the splits by the time I was 60, I am so close (( How are you with that now?)) but gonna add on Roll up with extended legs (that is hard girl) but Im gonna do it!!
I love your positive attitude Tracy! Regarding the splits: it's funny as I have gotten older, it's not the flexibility in my hamstrings, it's the hips that are tight! More hip flexor stretching for me!

I have a question. Is there something I can do in place of being on my hands and knees? I had a partial knee a year ago and it is uncomfortable to be on my hands and knees
Sure Lisa, you can modify some of the moves in a standing position. It’s helpful to lean your hands against a wall and take a few steps back with your feet

This workout starts on your hands and knees. With ancient acl reconstructions and an old wrist fracture this is not for me. I practice daily. Still searching for an app/instructor so I dont have to do my own planning. Anyone know of one?

Thank you for your workouts. I've added them to my routine. But you know that laying on your side and holding your head in your hand is really poor alignment. Better to prop yourself all the way up on your elbow or lay completely on your side. Thanks again.
It’s not great if you have osteoporosis. But in my opinion it’s fine if you don’t have to maintain a straight spine and it’s comfortable for you.
