Hi Samuel, This video is edited with Sony Vegas 10 (non-pro version) which I bought in a store for about €30 ($40). Excellent software and quite easy to use
I used a Canon 60D in manual mode, 25fps, night shots filmed at 1/30 speed, wide open (f/3.5 for the fisheye, f/1.8 for the 50mm prime lens), ISO 3200 and 4000 with the fisheye, ISO 1600 with the 50mm prime. During the day, I use multiples of 25 for the speed (1/50, 1/100, 1/250, ... you get the idea) so that it is synchronized with the fps. Obviously at 24 or 29.9 fps that is not possible. Aperture at f8 on all lenses to get everything in focus.
I got my private ticket in 2010 back in Daytona and this video reminds me how great is flying, is awesome also happiness. Thank you very much for sharing this.
You know I've never seen scenery more beatiful than this in any other video. I'd love to be able to travel to these places someday, especially Catalina Island.
Wow, another stunning piece of work. I particularly like the refelction of the city lights on the underside of the wing, and also the d.o.f you get when focused on the instrument panel but keeping the lights in the back ground in shot....music as ever perfectly matched! The island airstrip looked like one of my F-18 Challenges on the Kindle Fire!
Great Video! Learned to fly at El Monte and moved home base to Brackett after I got my PPL back in the 80's. Love both 737 and GA videos. Thanks for sharing!
Great video, i've been in california the last summer to complete my time building down there..i flew in some of the airports you've been visiting, and this video brought some tears to me..Keep the dream flying!
Amazing video. Great editing!
Yes, for sure.

Pretty much indeed, flying 737's for a living, flying Cessna's and gliders for fun.
Not so old footage, this was a few months ago in sunny SoCal.
great shot at
Cessna 172 Skyhawk (160 hp and 180 hp SP)
The sheer quality of this video is one that aviators and non aviators will enjoy
A raise my hat to you sir ; aviation, art (cinematography), mother nature; you basically summed up life for me

I've landed in El Monte and Ontario Int'l but never in Brackett Field, maybe next time?
That's the sort of thing that makes us love flying!
This was Air South California
I am a Cessna airline pilot, and on my days off I fly 737's. Hope this helps
I am still impressed how you find all this fantastic music to your videos.
This is one of the best GA videos I have ever seen.
