    They run it through the gin to clean it up but the bundles are mostly uncovered on those dusty roads.

      Wool is a fabric. It is generally associated with sheep but can be made from other products as well.

    25 billion gin that processed 166000 bales... assume that it will work for 25 year that means 4150000 bales ... and without counting any production cost over this years.... The const of every bale will be 602$ !!!!!!! LoL
    I have been working in the cotton industry for 12 years and I can assure you that this is one the funnest shit I ever heard in my entire life.

      Sorry mate but that is english... to my knowledge that is how nearly all Australian farms measure their water usage. Most farmers know what that means.

      if i am not mistaken, megalitre should be 1.000.000 litres, or 1000 cubic meters of water.
      1 hectare is 10.000 square meters

    the efficiency of cotton makes no sense at all.. if 55% is seed and 10% is trash and moisture .. they produce 45% viable product? Monsanto own the seed and the grower owns the fibre? on the global market wouldnt rice and merinos be better?

      Round up ready means the seed has been genetically modified to resist the herbicide. And yes they spray mass quantities over the cotton for weed control.

      @@dsmreloader7552 It would be a fairly stupid homeowner who used Roundup on their lawn. It is a total weedkiller. That means it kills (almost) all plants, certainly including domestic grass. But your point is fair when talking about domestic use to clear land or paths etc.

      Monsanto isn’t the only company to solve world hunger, but they were a big part of it. Of course you are free to buy less efficient food (the marketing term is “organic”) because of capitalism, there are products aimed even at morons.
