Worked for saab in the 80 s, prototype and testing, i tested the final gear setup for the last classic 900, we had engine/transmission Dyno,. 16 v turbo full throttle/ boost in gear 3 for 12 hours no problem , engine rpm is 3000
The turbo is white and almost like glass, you can see the axle and impeller through the housing

Always make sure you have a fresh head gasket! Turning up the boost will blow that old gasket in a hurry!
Hey. i'm always let my saab get up to temperature before i drive hard and always let the engine idel for a while before i shut the engine of.
As the engine is managed by the ECU, is changing blades, and therefore airflow, sufficent to increase performance or additional ECU programming is also needed?
