Hi guy! Should this Solid Studio, along with the PreAmp pedal, be placed at the end of the signal chain after the modulations, before the modulations or should the modulations be between them? Thanks!
Modulation effects placement is a personal taste thing. Sometimes sounds better before your drive sounds, sometimes after. There's no only answer here.
Thanks for the video Jimmy. I know, that Mini Studio got new functionality recently, so it offers built-in bass and acoustic ir's now. Will we see an updated review?
Great video, dude! I think the mini sound brighter in all samples, but this might be due to the mic sim used in both. Eather way it would sit in a mix better.
Yeah, that's the same feel I got. The big brother maybe sounds great by himself, but the mini one is definitely awesome in the mix. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
@@jimmyrocks43 your patches is amazing I only used them on my MG30 but I cannot be close to yours at all after recording..I have 4 diffrent guitars with all diffrent humbuckers or singiel coils I was try also use the tone knob to 30% but still not the same your tones is my taste warm and glassy what I need to do have u got any advise?
@@Herman138 to me, the right hand is very important for your tone. Maybe the picking attack is different. Also, I use Jazz III red picks for my strats. That's very important for me, too!
@@jimmyrocks43 I will try out and focus on that,I also use the Jazz III but Red one come off from my finger often so I use Jazz III the Black one with some texture on it..but anyway thank you very much for your super fast response and ideas..
@@jimmyrocks43 Thanks! Do you know if it's possible to mix IR's in parallel with these? I like to mix 2-3 microphones for the same cabinet PS: my gf is from Taiwan! Very nice and beautiful country!
@@TheBedroomRocker1 Try Digitech CabDryVR or get two SS Minis. I like the Hotone Binary AMP with my SS. Turn off the power amp on the SS, or use a mini. Good combination. AMP+CabDryVR is awesome
Hi nice demo.quick question.can i place the mini studio end of the pedal chain?can i also direct it to a mixer?sorry im new in pedals.thanks in advance
Another great video mate, you have awesome chops! It's definitely the power amp that makes all the difference. The mini still sounds great, and the Atlantic is just an epic pedal! I'm currently using the Nux Mg200 for all my sounds, I'd be honoured if you had a listen to one of the videos I've uploaded demonstrating the sounds. Honestly mate, it would mean the world. Keep up the great work!

Very informative, and nice playing! Thank you!
Yeah that nobel odr mini is so good (also the nux ss)

Hi Jimmy, the Nux studio can be used with Nux MG 30 toqather?this unit improve the sound?or make any even better?
In my opinion, it doesn't help much. Not necessary for me, personally.

Hey man, how does the mini studio compare to the radar?
I haven't got the chance to try the Radar, so I don't know. To me, the mini studio is simple, easy to use, pretty good sounding IR pedal.
Great video! The big one has the power amp sim, while the mini has the "space" room simulation. Which one do you think is more useful?
It depends. If you want as simple as possible, go for the mini one. If you really want to get lots of sounds, go for the big one.

Sir good day. May i ask what scale do you use so that i can practice too your scale.
Blues scale, natural major & minor, Dorian, and Mixolydian. These are the most used scales of my playing.
It's great sound quality tank you so much .
My pleasure. Thanks for your support. Appreciate it.
Imo it would have been more fair to put the mini after the studio in the chain, that way you could test the same powe amp with both Cab simulators.
the nux already built in preamp?? thanks
No preamp on these two. But it is a great idea! I'll let them know about it!
Hi nice demo.quick question.can i place the mini studio end of the pedal chain?can i also direct it to a mixer?sorry im new in pedals.thanks in advance
Yes, you can.
How does the latency on the two pedal compare? Is the Solid Studio more comfortable to play, latency0wise? Thanks!
I didn't feel any with these two.
Hey there...nice comparison. Just a question if i am planning to use custom IR's with them. Do you think both of them would be similar?
It will still be different because of the sample rate.
@@jimmyrocks43 So bigger the better? :-D
@@prat2609 I can only say that it will sound different....
Hey man, your pedal demos are amazing! I have some backing tracks on my RUclips if you want to use them
Thanks. I'll definitely check them out! Maybe they will be in the next video. Thanks for your support.
@@jimmyrocks43 Awesome! Let me know if you do that.
Did you use the built-in impulse response?
Yes. All built-in IRs.
So, what mic does the mini simulates?
To be honest with you, I don't know..... But the built in one seems to work fine for me.
if you like the brighter sound, dont use the u87 mic sim.
If I want to put modulation pedal, should I place before or after mini studio?
You can do both. Sounds a little bit different. You should try it yourself.
@@jimmyrocks43 thanks for your reply
