They label pencils based on degree of hardness of the graphite. H stands for hard and B stands for soft. The number is for how strong it is and therefore how dark or light it writes. If the number increases over B graphite gets softer (example: 9B writes extremely dark) and if it increases over H the graphite gets harder (example: 9H writes extremely light). Hard graphite writes lighter since the graphite doesn’t break onto the paper as easily and soft writes darker because the soft graphite breaks off more pigment. Thank you for reading my ted talk about pencils

She'd also purposely give me harder books for a higher reading level, so if I didn't understand a word, she could help me understand it and inference what it could mean. She really set me up with critical thinking skills. After doing it so much, at 9 I was starting long division and at 11 I could do long division (to a degree) in my head. Then when i became a teenager life was more social and fuck learning.

Home schooling doesn't do anything but create socially awkward, emotional wrecks of adults who struggle to make any meaningful connections and friendships in society as well as cause siblings to hate each other. Unless they are close in age, kids are meant to grow up having their own friends, lives, and desires. Trying to raise multiple children under one roof while spoiling and sheltering them from the outside world is an excellent way to have them grow up hating each other and you. Kids absolutely NEED school because outside of it, there's not many opportunities to make real friendships and learn about the opposite sex. This will lead to a person having NO romantic skills and thus dooming your bloodline entirely because they are incapable of attracting a mate to reproduce.

sad thing is at 6 years old I could actually write sentences and understand the meaning, this kid will grow up not knowing how to write until they are a teenager and being embarrassed. Like who wouldnt be embarrassed not being able to write
With a bit of a good insight on psychology, depending on how the child is talking verbally and understanding things can tell you a lot about where they are developmental wise. For instance, the kid writing down those words could be completely normal since at 6 years old you’re in kindergarten or first grade, but what is important to know is where they are cognitively. I can’t tell much about how her kids are since I don’t personally know them or have spoken to them but based on how they’re able to hold basic conversations and saying simple sentences can tell you where they are developmentally at least in the cognitive aspect. When you’re 6 you don’t really have those “problem solving” skills quite yet (for example: until you’re 8, you’re unable to have the processing skills to say anything other than ‘a short glass of water has less liquid in it than if that same glass were to be poured into a tall glass of water’ because the tall glass of water looks like it has more). I’d personally need to see more about the kids (I haven’t seen the tik tok page myself) but if she isn’t really actively teaching the kids, they’re not going to learn those things. also depending on if she’s a single mom it can also affect how they perform education wise. Again there are a lot of factors that can go into this, they may grow up fine but be deprived cognitively as they get older (which is my guess from this video) or they might grow up fine but again not have those important cognitive functions we need as we’re older
Bruh I used to know a kid that was homeschooled and he was 10 and couldn’t do basic multiplication and he couldn’t even do division and he was a flat earther because he just believed anything his parents said
Home schooling seems to be popular with flat earthers. Kids brought up in that insanity will grow up and find out how much their parents lied to them, I would imagine they'll be a tad angry about it.
I genuinely believe that letting your kid unschool AND not let them socialize with anybody else, is a form of neglect. These parents ruin their kids life. They don't want to make them independent for later in life. They say that they give their kid freedom, but in reality they just want to control their kid and their life. Making friends is so important. No you can't learn to socialize just by your parents. Because you treat your parents different thatn strangers or friends. You have different relationships with different kind of people and you need to learn how to socialize in different ways.
My school environment is very bad which in turn one time made me try to overdxse, i survived but got send home because they told me i was too much to deal with. I had to do school at home and it seemed to work way better for me. Like I could go make a meal, go to the toilet or take a break at any time and that made me do way better. Now im doing way better in school and still doing it at home
Reading is very fun when you start creating a world in your head from the story but as someone with slight dyslexia and major ADHD, it's very hard to keep track of sentences and story.
As someone who also has ADHD, I 1000% agree. Honestly, in my free time I just like making cool and creative worlds / stories in my head lol, it’s really fun
I am one of these kids who are homeschooled by their parents. My mom makes the curriculum, but its like 3 assignments and they are big ones. I have a 2000 word essay about the history of NASA. So im still learning stuff, but its actually useful stuff like time management and self sustainability. I socialize and i even have a girlfriend. Im having a great life and i still socialize. I also have a job.
@@samuelc.9686 because unlike public schools, I am taught how to treat women correctly and like a man should. The narrative that's put into our brains at this time is bullshit.
to be fair, grocery shopping is a skill that you need to learn too. but most people learn this by just... going grocery shopping. even if you want to teach your kids to grocery shop at a young age, you can do that by bringing them along when you're running errands and they'll just learn by watching you do it. and then you can give them a list of tips they might have missed trailing around after you in a walmart when they're ready to move out, like always buy store brand because it's the same thing as name brand but cheaper. the lesson that woman is trying to give her kids won't even work because they don't know any math yet so they literally won't understand what she's trying to teach them. "we can get this because it's cheaper" doesn't make sense to someone who literally doesn't know decimals yet. she's just talking at them.
i was homeschooled, and BOYS WAS IT A W F U L. i would NOT recommend it AT ALL for anyone considering homeschooling for their kids. it causes SO MANY MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND SOCIALIZATION PROBLEMS!!!! i have crippling depression, crippling anxiety, horrible socialization skills, barely any friends, and so on. my summers were incredibly lonely. like unbelievably lonely. like, online friends and no one else to talk too and DO SCHOOL WORK DURING THE SUMMER KIND OF LONELY. DO NOT HOMESCHOOL YOUR KIDS!!!!!! im 16 and im still struggling to socialize even tho i've been in public school since grade 8. the crippling anxiety and crippling depression and lonely summers will ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS stick with me. homeschooling is actual genuine torture.

Kids brought up in that insanity will grow up and find out how much their parents lied to them, I would imagine they'll be a tad angry about it.
its lowkey hard to watch normal vids after watching joe lol
I genuinely believe that letting your kid unschool AND not let them socialize with anybody else, is a form of neglect. These parents ruin their kids life. They don't want to make them independent for later in life. They say that they give their kid freedom, but in reality they just want to control their kid and their life. Making friends is so important. No you can't learn to socialize just by your parents. Because you treat your parents different thatn strangers or friends. You have different relationships with different kind of people and you need to learn how to socialize in different ways.
Joe please start a podcast with whoever🙏🏻 I love to hear you views/opinions on things I always find them agreeable and entertaining
Just watch a stream
@@MuktarHussein-o2dI do gng but what if I’m tryin to just listen to Joey
My school environment is very bad which in turn one time made me try to overdxse, i survived but got send home because they told me i was too much to deal with. I had to do school at home and it seemed to work way better for me. Like I could go make a meal, go to the toilet or take a break at any time and that made me do way better. Now im doing way better in school and still doing it at home
Joe never fails to never fail
It’s almost like the old setup with us.😢
crazy imagine these kids when they grow up 😭🙏
I think they forget there's reasons why schools have so many elective classes.

Reading is very fun when you start creating a world in your head from the story but as someone with slight dyslexia and major ADHD, it's very hard to keep track of sentences and story.
As someone who also has ADHD, I 1000% agree. Honestly, in my free time I just like making cool and creative worlds / stories in my head lol, it’s really fun
oh my god her child is gonna be incompetent
Her child in a job interview: ok sir what makes you think that you can drive a train, her child: egg, lion. The interviewer: Get out
Joe ur getting better everyday I love your content so much ❤
It’s funny because I’m more comfortable socializing with people twice my age, like my friends parents 😂
Hi Joe love the streams and the vids keep up your job you inspire me to start streaming
I love watching Joe Bart videos cuz he spits straight facts
Wow, a life without friends. Sounds horrible. My entire 20's were about friends.
I also have a job.
well thats you
@Joy-bm3qc this.
How does bro have a girlfriend
@@samuelc.9686 because unlike public schools, I am taught how to treat women correctly and like a man should. The narrative that's put into our brains at this time is bullshit.
This is what home education should result
to be fair, grocery shopping is a skill that you need to learn too. but most people learn this by just... going grocery shopping. even if you want to teach your kids to grocery shop at a young age, you can do that by bringing them along when you're running errands and they'll just learn by watching you do it. and then you can give them a list of tips they might have missed trailing around after you in a walmart when they're ready to move out, like always buy store brand because it's the same thing as name brand but cheaper. the lesson that woman is trying to give her kids won't even work because they don't know any math yet so they literally won't understand what she's trying to teach them. "we can get this because it's cheaper" doesn't make sense to someone who literally doesn't know decimals yet. she's just talking at them.
That kid doesn't know how to read, write, or math, but at least he knows Greek Mythology
i was homeschooled, and BOYS WAS IT A W F U L. i would NOT recommend it AT ALL for anyone considering homeschooling for their kids. it causes SO MANY MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS AND SOCIALIZATION PROBLEMS!!!! i have crippling depression, crippling anxiety, horrible socialization skills, barely any friends, and so on. my summers were incredibly lonely. like unbelievably lonely. like, online friends and no one else to talk too and DO SCHOOL WORK DURING THE SUMMER KIND OF LONELY.
Agreed. You should join the marines when you turn 18 bro
@@samuelc.9686 no thanks i’m not fit enough for that. i have a real passion in game development
@@samuelc.9686wtf kind of recommendation is that!?
Day 5 of unschooling. Little Timmy is now learning how to use prize picks and take the Patrick mahomes over.
I didn’t see Joe reacting to the GOAT Chad Chad 🐢
Hey Joe I just want to say thanks for being the best creator out here I just went through a long day I almost ended my life I walk 6 miles and had a friend call the cops on me and the only thing I got rn is well her my dad and all of your videos so thank you for being who you are
For me, as a homeschool student, I’m learning a lot more stuff than a public school kid is, but that’s also just my parents curriculum that they made and the stuff I have to do every day.
You are lucky
You just learn how to shop over time 😭
Gunning for it is a crazy statement
7:49 ... uh, okaaaaayyy... can like cps step in....
