Nice video. Sometimes even the most basic things need explaining to a newbie. A few days ago a colleague almost ruined my TWSBI Eco because he wasn't aware that there are pens where the cap is screwed on. He normally only uses cheap ballpoints but couldn't find his one. So he grabbed my pen and tried to pull off the cap with a lot of force until I stopped him. Luckily pen and colleague survived 8-) Then I placed a Platinum Preppy on the desk for him. Those are cheap and almost indestructible.

You're welcome. Wash your hands with a sponge and most of it should come off quickly.

Honestly! I was arguing with myself for 15 minutes on which end was the one that should/could be punctured. I don't know why people just assume that everyone knows these things coming out of the womb.

I have a Duke foundation pen and the Jinhao cartridges which are suggested by the pen manufacturer. I’ve installed the cartridge twice and both times it comes loose and the ink leaks on my finger badly. Yes, i have pressed enough to hear the pop but it still happens. Very frustrating

It helped but I was applying loads of pressure and she still didn’t pop yk so I just stabbed everything with a fork and now I have a fully functioning fountain pen thanks

It could be a bad fit. Are you using a compatible cartridge for your fountain pen?

Normally, you would be able to use cartridges as well. It depends on the particular pen in question. I can tell you which type of cartridges it would use.
