went there one time with a rented pedal drive hobie. didnt catch much but bent the dogshit out of the pedal drive fins on the rock pile going into the lake. got it fixed and then I did it again at blue cypress like the next day lmao good times. also fished headwaters for a day pre boat ramp. that was the craziest shit I've seen in my life. Ill make it back one day

The only thing I love more than pitching/flipping is throwing a glide bait. I refuse to use straight shank hooks because I will lose or miss about 30-40% of the fish that strike, I can swap hooks to a Superline ewg 4/0 same weight and plastic and my miss/loose rate drops below 10%. I don’t know what the difference is but I almost always hook the bass in the deep heavy part of the jaw plate where the fish sustains no permanent damage and never comes unhooked.
