I worked at BK several times over 8 years. None of our burgers were pre-branded. The ribs were and were microwaved, but the grilled chicken and burgers go through a flame broiling conveyor oven. Maybe at some franchise locations, but not any of the ones I've worked in.
As someone who worked for Sonic I can 100% say that the onion rings were not made with Vanilla ice cream. That being said they do have a sweetened batter basically like a pancake batter that you dip the rings in made with 2 parts flour, 1 part sweetened batter, and mixed in water
I love Taco Bell that being said when I moved to Texas some of my Mexican friends asked me if I like Mexican food and I said I like Taco Bell and the response that I received was “That’s not Mexican food!”
Among the other obvious things here, the cameras in the DT are actually right there in plain sight. They make no attempt at hiding them. How do they know which order is yours when there is more than one order spot? The camera snaps a picture of your car when the total button is touched, and the monitor st the cashout window displays those pictures. Simply click the picture that matches the car at your window. Did people really not know most of these things?
I loved KFC when growing up in Ohio USA. I still feel that the crispy is "new". There's no more "original flavor" in Taiwan. They renamed it "soft skin" and it's flavorless. (Domino's and Pizza Hut have similarly created flavorless pepperoni and other items to be flavorless for the Taiwan market.) 2019, I visited Pizza Hut Express in the Denver Airport. They don't take orders, they just keep putting pizza slices in boxes on a heated shelf. You just take what you want and pay for it. Oh god that was good. After years in Taiwan, that was a total treat!
You couldn’t pay me enough to work at fast food/fast casual restaurant if I had to deal with wanna-be-cool customers *expecting* that I know how to construct the specific “secret menu” item they happened to find on google while knowing damn well it’s not part of the official training.
I have worked in fast food for about 15 years at a few different restaurants and no one has ever tried to order off of a secret menu. Furthermore, none of the restaurants ever mentioned secret menus. Fast food is a horrible job unless you can get a management position.
Most of the time employees at ff restaurants are not trying to fool the clock. It does happen but most of the time they are preparing your food and they have the next car's order ready. They usually only pull you up if you have a large order or they have to cook something fresh.
I tell EVERYONE I don't like Dairy Queen ice cream because it doesn't taste like ice cream. I've always been met with a resounding, "Yes it does." No, it doesn't.
Here's another one. The packaged Dunkin' coffee you see in supermarkets is not the same coffee that you drink in Dunkin' shops. Different recipe altogether. ✔👍
That is false about Burger King grill marks. They are real grill marks. The patty is completely frozen brand new and is placed in the broiler. Press the setting and wait. There’s a hack. If you place jalapeños and onions on top of the patty preferably junior and set the setting for whopper patty which is more time. The patty turns out really nice as homemade dinner sautéed with grilled onions and peppers. I’m talking nice. I worked there I was the only one that did that and really didn’t want everyone to see me doing that and enjoy what I discovered
i thought taco bell's cinnamon twists were made out of mexican duros twist pasta. The multiple cows in ground beef isn't just a fast food concern. Lol. It's everywhere including grocery store ground beef, I believe. That's why they recommend burgers not to be cooked rare. You don't really have that problem with steak because obviously that only comes from one cow

Not because they’re any better but, at least it taste better to me.
