One of the most beautiful cars ever made.
The 61-63 Thunderbirds have been my favorite cars since I was a kid in the 1960s. And this particular car is literally my lifelong dream car. What an amazing restoration. I too hope it finds a good home.
I second that,I love these cars, way ahead of their time. Tons of style!!!!!!
Same exact story for me too. I'd opt for the 62 sports roadster.
Great job, the 61' T-Bird is such a unique machine.
Never saw one without the sliding steering wheel before. They were optional in 1961 and standard after that. Most 61’s had them. A shame no factory air conditioning. Nice color that I don’t think was original.
First time I've seen Magnun 500's on this gen Thunderbird. They look fantastic- beautiful paint color too.
great car!
Looks like Heritage Burgundy.
Nice!
Awesome!!

I love the Bullet Birds. I bought a 57 Thunderbird beautiful and iconic but it was to small and cramped. So I bought a 63 Thunderbird Sports Roadster. I especially love the interior and the sweeping aluminum instrument panel with it's fighter cock pit looks and the lines of this car are incredible. The draw backs they are heavy mine is 4200 pounds it's 10 m.p.g. and they are a nightmare to work on. I do not like the Magnum 500 rims on this car. Mine came with Kelsey Hayes wire wheels as a Sports Roadster and they are beautiful. In my humble opinion the 500 rims belong on Mustangs and Cougars and the 70 AMX that I own not on big luxurious Thunderbirds.
