10 to 15 years ago, this town was as packed with people Friday & Saturday nights, almost as busy as the day. It's now as quiet as the grave. I visit the Blue Coat occasionally. It used to be a pain to get to the bar in the day. Now, there's hardly anyone there.
What a sad state of affairs. Rotherham at night is even more dead than it is during the day. Frankly we need some serious change in this country and get town centres back to how they used to be in the 70's & 80's instead of this deliberate long-game to have everyone buying from home and not going out and about meeting folks like we used to. I'm starting to hate this f'king world now.

Thanks for the comment Phil. I hope it gets better soon, will try filming again next year in 2025.
Going back some years but New York, New York nightclub was the best in Rotherham along with the Zone, nothing there anymore..like a ghost town 🫤
you missed angel out
Nobody there 😅😅😅
Pedestrianisation marks the death knell for town centres. If you can't drive and park - then people simply go where they can drive and park.
Very true handbags, shame the councils cannot see this.
The whole country is dead.
You think you can compare Saturday night in Rotherham to one in say Newcastle or Liverpool??
What a sad state of affairs.
