At the time you see all the stuff that's spoiled in the opening, the intro begins to capture the whole story of the arc. To me, its musical progression coupled with the imagery of the intro (excluding literally just spoilers 3/4 way into it) makes it feel like it acknowledges the profound sadness of the people of Wano and their deep determination in face of it.

I love that they included that apple at the end. It reminded us of the promise Luffy made with Otama when he gave her that apple and said that he would make Wano a place where everyone could eat their fill everyday. It's like the opening is telling us that the whole thing started from an apple (a promise).

I'm telling you as far as I've read, things are heating up greatly in Wano.

I love this opening so much because to be such a dark arc it's so full of the hope and happiness shonen OPs brings? Yet still perfectly captures important moments and characters in the arc. The group and studio made such a great choice I will always love this op.
It's been many years with so many awesome openings that it's hard to pick favorites. That being said, I don't think I've been this hyped for an opening since Water 7. Back when Usopp broke both arms trying to take on Luffy just to save the Going Mary. One Piece is all about fighting for your dreams. A masterpiece imo.

I don’t know why people usually say this is one of the worst themes. In my opinion, it’s the best. You can’t deny this theme hits hard, fits Wano, and it’s nostalgic and gives you the closing feeling at the same time. It’s perfect.

I love this opening so much because to be such a dark arc it's so full of the hope and happiness shonen OPs brings? Yet still perfectly captures important moments and characters in the arc. The group and studio made such a great choice I will always love this op.

It's been many years with so many awesome openings that it's hard to pick favorites. That being said, I don't think I've been this hyped for an opening since Water 7. Back when Usopp broke both arms trying to take on Luffy just to save the Going Mary. One Piece is all about fighting for your dreams. A masterpiece imo.
One Piece opening original character designs always amaze me. They keep uping themselves on them
One piece is now UNRIVALED. untouchable masterpiece. I hope the story, the show, the books are all so well protected and preserved that they outlast our species. People 1000s of years from now watching this would bring me endless joy.

I don’t know why people usually say this is one of the worst themes. In my opinion, it’s the best. You can’t deny this theme hits hard, fits Wano, and it’s nostalgic and gives you the closing feeling at the same time. It’s perfect.

@@theoriginalman9426 yeah. Every one piece ranking video I see has this ranked so low and people rank it low also. They always hate on it. So far, the best representation of it I’ve seen was where it was ranked as the 13th best opening. Decent ranking, but it deserves at least in he top 10, probably even top 5.
