- The creators of Myst, Cyan Inc. have returned to make an excellent new game, Firmament! A narrative adventure rooted in the spirit of Myst! Made with VR in mind!

Loved this! Short, no commentary, good sound, perfect. Can you please do a non - VR playthrough exactly like this so those without VR can see its not just for VR? If you can, we can share the crap out of it over the last 7 days of the KS.
Sure! I can have that uploaded real quick.
@@DelcoVR That would be great! We need examples of the playthrough for the Kickstarter that are flat to show potential non-VR backers that this will be a standard game as well as VR, and that it's not VR-only. I think this would be perfect if it's short and concise like your VR version.
Just uploaded, here you go! ruclips.net/video/YePBBqtrP3s/видео.html
Looks like another must-have game from Cyan. Looking forward to it.
Yeah I recognized that ceiling sky painting.
Good to see Cyan still have their lift and transport fetish :) That electric door's awesome and atmospheric. Very Myst-like feel but I sense we may be a little in the pre-world-reveal part of the game so it may feel quite different once the first layers have been peeled back. Should be a great game.
i hope we have the obduction's movements . Free locomotion with snap stering .
It looks nice!
Musics must be more cool then in myst or in obduction i want it to be like that more cool music, for example musics in obduction was shitty and i don't want musics to be shitty in this game too
@cdawgadizzle fahsho Yeah agree myst music is badaasss
Is it just with this terrible management? I hate teleportation. It ruins all the fun of the game.
Footstep noice sux, i don't want to hear my footstep noice it must be turn offable
Really? Teleport mode? :(
Nice , the kickstarter is almost at the goal! It looks great but I hope there is smooth locomotion as well.
Looks like they kept the same format of locomotion as Myst and Riven with that Google Earth type navigation. It's a lot easier for a cheap computer to render one wrap-around image every time the user "jumps" (moves) every few seconds than process continuous motion with its myriad of viewing angles, which I believe makes these games playable on PCs that don't have discrete graphics processors.
Looks cool. Though im hoping still for riven style puzzles. Hiding clues in the enviroment. Everything being part of a bigger hole. Understand its a proof of concept of course though no true puzzle was shown here
Well, what'd you think of the final product
@@JDog2pt0 havent played it yet
@@luckduvell I don't want to influence your expectations, but I think you'll be disappointed.
OMG, Want!
So glad I am a backer for this but they sure have been working on this a long time now. Last update I read about it, They were working on the rigging for the figures in the game. That tells me they still have a ways to go.
Funny how oculus just revealed a myst remake on the oculus quest
10:45 did they steal that from the myst library?
Footstep noise is so childish and stupid
