This is such impressive content. Great breakdown Couper. It's good to see the them chalk up a win and playing solid ball with all of the surrounding noise. Duncan's game continues to grow. Bam was everywhere and everything... mos def his best show out for the season.
Tbh, I'm surprised how good our defense is. We are 12-0 in games where we hold opp under 100. That's really impressive. I love our guys for staying professional despite what's happening around the org, and Spo really is the best coach in the league.
Spo, his scheme, and Bam gives this group a very high defensive floor year-to-year. Even when/if they aren't elite, that combination is a foundation many other teams just don't have. (We do need to keep an eye on opponent shooting numbers against the Bam/Ware lineup, nearly 25% from three, though again Orlando was pushed into a lot of bad shots in this one.)
This is a Bam podcast and it’s deserved but I think what Niko was doing on defense and on ball is getting brushed over. Bam was only allowing the switch with Niko and he was also stopping Paolo and Franz. Hasn’t been highlighted enough for me to
Niko played well with the closing group but had a few more issues with the bench lineups and generally had fewer responsibilities overall. The switching was good, though. We’ll have more time to talk about him another time. He’ll get his due.
Heat need a true playmaking PG. Herro, Jovic, Bam and Ware would all benefit. Terry and Jamie can't shoot and turn the ball over too much and need to be traded asap.
I’ll give JJJ some grace. He’s a 2nd year player. Rozier no excuses… he has to be traded for a point of attack high IQ defender… aka the Dru Smith replacement

Best content a Heat fan could ask for! Bam deserves all the flowers.
Thanks for watching!

This Bam deserves a max extension. Bam needs to be consistent & do this always. It’s not too much to ask. No “he’s tired” excuses
Yes! This should be his standard.

"It doesn't work without Bam"
Why didn't it work with Bam before Ware and Jovic in the same lineup?
Yeah they’re underscoring Niko man and I hate it

Rozier continues to take difficult shots. And misses a lot of bunnies. It's tough to watch.
