Mine was just delivered today. This is my second Hot Toys figure, but the first I've bought myself. I had a bunch of other figures I was considering and I was apprehensive about what I'd spend my money on. Then I came across him and decided I had to have it. Now that I have him I have no regrets.
Just bought him bro, I didn’t think I would want it, but it is a great tribute piece to the Prequel and a important character to the Star Wars lore. Really excited for it.
I got this Qui-Gon and he looks amazing!! I was genuinely so hyped for this guy. I got him standing next to my ep3 Obi-Wan and my ep2 yoda! The way I look at it, three of my favorite Jedi, all in their prime.
Wow, figure looks incredible. On a side note, got my deluxe Mando yesterday and even though my shipping box looked fine my art box took several dings. Unbelievable sideshow ships that figure out in a shipping box that is paper thin. They need to start double boxing to save money in the long run.
I like this figure a lot but my biggest problem with it is the portrait range of motion side to side ... I’m a fan of sculpted hair but this just limits the posing in my opinion
I got it last week! It’s my first HT and Qui-Gon is my favorite. I just wish I hadn’t missed Episode 3 Obi, but if we get Episode 1 Obi I’m jumping on it.
I love this figure so much. Im so happy I got one. I am learning how to pose and you make it look so easy. I love the posing aspect because posing makes the figure come to life and really gives you your moneys worth. Still have to get used to using optional hands on these figures. Great video Great work.
Could look good poses up with prequels Yoda, but you’re right, would be great to see more Ep1 figures... Anakin and his pod racer?!... And definitely need some Queen Padme.
I’m glad I’m not alone in not using the light up saber arms on 1/6 scales. It’s such a pain in the ass and 100% not worth the hassle. Also - Dooku displayed with the hologram looks regal as fuck. Try it out
I like it! But, the seam line is horrendous:( will pose it with face towards the front of my display case, it’s only visible when viewing straight on the left and right side

Have him displayed with his poncho on holding the communicator. Can we also have the second poncho Jedi Cal Kestis? Wishful thinking but wont mind Hot Toys to releasing that too, that would be sweet!
I felt much the same way as yourself, i had lost most interest for this figure and i also seen some terrible photographs online of the released figure but when i go it in hand i was pleasantly surprised how good it really is. I have mine battling the DX17 Maul, he looks fantastic👍🏻

I love you show, and watch every episode. Just one bit of constructive criticism. Shorten or omit the open/title sequence. The loud rock is so jarring to me and I have to mute it or fast forward through it. Just my 2 cents, of course you can take it or leave it. Thanks for the excellent work!
Had this guy on PO for awhile. Cancelled him in the end. Like the character, probably my favourite Jedi, but the figure just stopped exciting me, lost the hype and there was other figures I wanted.
cant justify buying this guy for the price. Not that big of a character. Not badass. Accessories are meh and if he ever does become rare it's an easy figure for third party people to copy
True, the price is quite high, and the character is not really badass in the movie (Because he died), but I don't think third party company would make this character as accurate as Hot Toys made.
@@HobbyReviewID they already have third party versions of anakins outfit. This outfit is pretty generic. The headsculpt will be the only issue to replicate. Wont get a solid paintwork
As long as it comes branded as a hot toy figure it will get its rep no matter what. You could get a bootleg sure, you can do that all day for most major figures but it most likely won't be him by hot toys.

Got my Qui Gon a few weeks ago and love it. Hot Toys nailed the sculpt and my most underrated 1/6th figure from the past year.
Don’t sleep on Qui-Gon. I’m pretty sure we will see him again in Kenobi series

Get that robe off him and rinse it out. The color stains his outfit. You might have to rinse it a few times to get all the excess dye out.

Something about this headsculpt is off. I can’t tell what exactly it is, but something just doesn’t look right.
They made him look younger. Maybe the finished cast lost some age lines, happens alot.
