Apple Cider Vinegar 3 spoons per day mixed to the water, Vitamin D3, K2, Nattokinase, no sugars or carbs almost at all. I have lost 20kg (106kg--> 86kg, male 185cm). Next month I have been 1 year totally sober. This is the longest time during my whole life that my weight has stayed within 1kg difference the whole year. I do 20-24h fasting 1-2 times per week and it is excellent for my body and mind. What made me to do it and keep it up? Terminal cancer. Still here, nothing visible with contrast agent anymore. So, people, please pay attention for these things!

I did, but still these things help if you go into details how cancer cells develop and grow. I'm among 1% of people with the diagnosis what I got. I'm not saying that I will survive even 10 years but what Shawn is pointing out here, YOU can make a difference. How do you survive if there is not medical system like now there still is?

People in America eat processed, packaged, canned food, engage in tobacco and alcohol use. They refuse to take responsibility for themselves. Cancer is a great teaching tool because people choose to eat unhealthy. If you eat Indian curd everyday not American yogurt, one will never get cancer. Americans do not care about immune system. In Kerala, Curd is our main prebiotic. Americans have never cared about obesity, heart disease, Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. People do not make an effort to get well. They rely on there doctors for everything because they choose to remain brainwashed with there health ideology. It is pathetic why Americans do not fast, yet make excuse after excuse not to get well. You can fast for two months and be healthy.

That's a good way to go about it. I wish everybody would start improving their health that way. I believe measures like this and adding some exercise to the equation may be enough for most of us. No unnecessary, expensive multivitamin supplements may be needed. Ag1, I don't know. If you don't have any documented vitamin or mineral deficiencies it may be totally unnecessary.

You inspired me to start this journey and to be more active. 40 more pounds and I will have my knees made like new! lol…… my husband and I will be married 55 years on April 19…… longer than you have been on earth!

you should look into the carnviore diet. This is a very healing diet and weight loss diet combined.
channels for carnvore diet: dr ken berry (see his videos: carnviore for beginner, carnivore flu, electroyles), Dante freedom carnivore (he lost 90 pounds), Homestead how (he lost 100 pounds, got off all rx and healed his body), Kelly hogan (she lost 100 pounds & healed her body), Steak and butter gal (watch her vds on what to eat in a day), Dr Chaffee, Shawn baker md podcast, Carnviore solider, Bill notts (he lost 200 pounds in the last 8 months!) and many more (all of these have tons of interviews of people that have healed their bodies & lost weight.
Look up Marie emmerich channel and s. ite do a serch for "marco calculator" (free) and figure out how many calaries and how much fat, carbs & protein to eat. Also look up her PSMF diet that you can combined with either keto diet or carnivore diet. Her books are excellent and your library may have them.
Carnviore diet/keto diet with PSMF will help you tramendously to keep your healing journey going.
      Take care.

Congratulations Shawn! Ive been following you for several years and what you do is truly an inspiration!
I'm 56, Blood pressure 2 years ago was also in the 140's over low 90's while on 40 mg of Lisinopril. I started using cayenne pepper powder, 8 oz of water, and a tablespoon of raw unfiltered unpasturized local honey a year and a half ago religiously everyday, started more of a carnivore diet, and increased my activity level as much as I could due to severe disc issues but today im 12 days, 100% off my BP meds, cholesterol meds, and over the last 4 months have lost 42 lbs. My resting BP is averaging 111/68 and active BP is averaging 121/74.
I've been telling my Dr for two years that I will get off of all my meds because im not feeding the big pharma family anymore. I've taken my health into my own hands with diet, being more active as well as more natural ways to fix health rather than the big pharma band-aid that's thrown at us. Our food system is broken. Getting back to whole foods, healthy choices, and good clean living has been clouded over for so long but many are finally waking up and seeing the big picture and how to fix it ourselves. Great Job shawn!

Its not what You eat really but how much energy body has to heal itself.
I rather think that is the biggest secret in this world that the big pharma does not want us to know.
Body is a self healing organism. We just have to let it do it.
So the lighter the diet the better.
Im plant based and that also let my body to heal.
So yess many ways but the logic is always the same- keep it simple and as light as possible.
I have just never liked meat personally.

Just goes to show no matter how hard you work or how much fresh food, air, and water you get you still fall apart. After about 50 anything can happen and I would have been fine with dying at that point, but now am 63 and no doctors or meds so I'll go till I drop. Friends of mine are carrying around bags of pills and they still have problems. Drugs just cover up the problems and most of the time fix nothing.

I fell and fractured my left arm, a big plate and six pins later, I had been working on a sore hip for a few years and was told by a orthpedic surgeon to lose wieght because I needed a right hip replacement due to bone on bone and left hip was slightly better. That started blood pre 19:07 ssure meds, pain meds, meds for inflammation... I only took tylenol or Advil before, no other meds. Dang, getting old is for the birds but im not going to lay down and die. We must march on!!

i am 57 (58 next month) this time last year i could hardly turn my head do to neck issues, also had major knee pain and constant shoulder pain. I stopped drinking soda, all seed oils, anything processed and also added collagen to my diet. I felt a big difference in just a few weeks. I later an AG1 like product (i also tried AG1) and by Dec i was virtually pain free. unbelievable difference. We bought a little bread maker (have you read the ingredients label of bread lately?) and haven't eaten store-bought bread/buns since December. Last month I started to follow more of a carnivore diet and dropped 20lbs. At soon-to-be 58, this is truly the best i have felt in a decade if not longer.
The best thing anyone can do is drop the soda/processed drinks and anything with seed oils in them. The soda was hard but it made a huge difference.

Stop taking NSAIDS if possible & take ACE vitamins & glucosamine sulfate 1500, & MSM. The one supplement I'd never go would as I age is Hyaluronic acid by lifetime 125mg. It's the gel between ur joints & it diminishes as we age.

I decided enough is enough before its to late to do something about my health. Ill keep it short.
I went the carnivore way, cold turkey. No sugars, no carbs and no processed meats. It was tough the first week or two due to sugar withdrawals. Im six weeks into it and have lost 25 pounds. It amazes me how good I feel too. No joint issues, lower BP and hoping to quit taking those meds, I'm more alert, I sleep better, more motivation, more energy, mental clarity etc.
I had cancer back in 2017 and your videos got me through my treatment days. All is good now. I just need to rid my body of all that bad stuff that tends create those situations.
Im interested in seeing the progress that you and your family accomplish with the new lifestyle.

    Hi Shawn,
I stopped drinking alcohol and coffee in my 20's, now 73, never have taken any pharma drugs, can do what I want, walk, hike, swim, bike, yoga, meditation, pranayama, gardening, spend as much time outside as possible, only drank spring water from a reliable source, never city water, only organic food, stay away from restaurants and anything made in a factory, and it has become really noticable the older I get, how different I am from my friends or other people much younger. I still have my hair color, while I am not perfect, just the daily practice, step by step has led to an abundant life. Now is the time (in the news at least) that many many different reports are surfacing about all the dangerous chemicals that are put in everything manufactured, the articles are everywhere, all that was hidden or generally unknown is coming to light, I hope it will lead to a world wide push to rid ourselves of the over manufactured, processed life that advertising and business has exploited. As people turn away from this, it should be beneficial for persons and the planet. Thanks for all you do for us. When I was 10 years old, I remember looking around at my relatives at gatherings and thought how unhealthy they looked and acted, and had the realization that the way they were aging was not natural or right, so I thought I better do the opposite of what I see them doing!

I have a friend who turned 88 a couple months ago. He has been smoking for over 70 years, still smokes. He was in a major car accident as an infant so he speaks with an impediment that makes him sound like he's drunk. He also was in the rodeo and got in accidents there. He used to fall at least every month, he can't walk without a cane, and now he uses a walker. He's always worked hard, self-employed for years collecting bottles and cans from businesses and pushing a cart around until 83, despite falling every month at least once. Gets right back up. He looks great all the time, lots of colour in his cheeks and a big smile. False teeth, true. Lived a life of poverty almost all his life, worked hard. He looks better than a lot of the health freaks I know because he doesn't worry about his health and he also just has an amazing metabolism, eats a lot of sugar, puts about ten packets in his tea, no joke. IIf he doesn't have a tea, he enjoys a bottle of coke. I know this sounds like a tall tale, but I swear it's true.
I have often wondered if his generation, the pre-war depression babies, are more resilient than the boomers, because they grew up eating natural foods and so did their parents. He has the constitution of a horse, and so do a lot of the elderly who are 80+. So, now boomers have grown up with the post-war chemical revolution and who knows?

It seems we've created, either directly or through proxy, this toxic world in which
we live. It is a self feeding mechanism of poisoning ourselves and desperately
seeking remedy by taking more poison...And than we are amazed at how
messed up, on literally every level, the world has become. While I applaud what
Shawn is doing to reverse his toxic downward spiral, most of us cannot hope to
emulate his diligence. The correction of our course must begin with accepting
our responsibility for the roles we've played in our own destruction. Ignorance
and conformity are not, in any way virtuous.
Been carnivore for about 17 months and the benefits have been profound and numerous. But I see the "system" trying to survive by employing every manner of malfeasance and lies. Which makes this dietary lifestyle more and more difficult to maintain. And places the yoke of "revolutionary outlier" on regular folks who
are just sick of being sick. God be with you all...Strength and honor...

Happy early birthday to you. I had surgery on my heart back in February, and they found I had 4 more valve in my heart that it didn't need. It was scary at times, and my heart rate would skip a beat and take off, it gotten as high as 280 over 80 or 147 over 77. I had it. Just stop beating this happened to me in January a mile off the road in a wood getting logs with small 🚜 WD Allis Chalmer and 180 Allis Chalmer. My brother took me to the hospital. My heart stopped beating when I down a tree. I beat on my chest to get it back 180 over 80 by the time I got to the hospital. My heart rate was over 200, and I had never seen so many wires and pads ready to zap my heart .They shot my heart with adrenaline, which caused my heart to level out . I thank the nurses and doctors who saved me that day, and most I thank God for being there.

Well, I turned 71 this past January & not on any medications & not vaxxed. I do my best to eat healthy & I do take vitamins. I don't smoke nor drink anything alcoholic but I drink water, coffee, tea & juice. I have a son who will be 46 yrs old in October & a son who just turned 44 yrs old in March. I haven't seen them since 2012 because I don't have a vehicle & live near Elliot Lake. With rent ridiculously over priced ALL OVER CANADA, it's impossible to move due to the high costs so I'm where I am. I've looked. People are charging $1000 to $2000 a month for a bedroom not an apartment. Shawn - consider yourself having been blessed to be where you are & able to do the things you do. I'm excited to be able to see all the projects you get to do this year now that the nicer weather is somewhat here. I'm still looking for a new place to move but it has to be within my budget not someone else's. Staying healthy is one of the most important things you can do - without it you can do nothing. STAY WELL & enjoy the beautiful weather to come😊 Canadian life - gotta love it. 🇨🇦⭐️ Present Canadian government - 🤮 😊

I was 250 in mid- December 2023 and vowed to loose 50 lbs. been following a clean keto, low card diet with 6/18 intermittent fasting and have dropped 30 lbs. Feel better with much more energy. Cut out wine and after dinner snacking, and no sugar! Lots of salads, free range organic eggs, grass fed and grass finished beef, wild caught seafood. Another 20 lbs to go, but I’m on the way, with lots of exercise and weight training. Highly recommend another RUclipsr, Dr. Eric Berg. Lots of knowledge!

My husband and I started intermittent fasting last June. My husband was able to stop his blood pressure medication after 1 month after taking it for 25 years! He is 67 and I'm 59. It also reduced my husband's joint pain and inflammation. My allergies have disappeared and my plantar fascitis was gone within 2 weeks. My mental clarity sharpened and my sleep improved. My husband lost 25 lbs and I lost 15lbs effortlessly! The 2 most informative books we read were "The obesity code" by Dr. Jason Fung and "Fast, Feast, Repeat" by Gin Stevens. It has changed our lives and we haven;t once felt deprived as it is "time restricted eating" and not "restricted eating." As an extra benefit, your food preps will last longer as well!

Happy Birthday, Shawn... and thanks for posting this video. I was eagerly awaiting to hear more about the dietary changes you've made. I tried the Patreon thing, but it wasn't working for me, so thanks for posting to youtube. Overall, it looks like I've been doing basically the same things for the last year or so already, which is encouraging. I find a wholistic, multi faceted approach works the best... diet, deep breathing, cold immersion therapy, yoga, meditation, cardio, heavy weights, vitamin & mineral supplements, natural movement... that sort of thing. Because of my lactose and gluten intolerance, I cut bread, pasta, and dairy (and excess sugar) out of my diet last year, and within a couple months I dropped 20 pounds naturally, without trying anything else, and I've stayed at my current weight since. I think it was the empty carbs. Now I need to find a cure for Fibromyalgia... Thanks again for posting this. All the best to you! ~Tim

I guess I needed to watch your video today to get myself back into gear. 2 years ago I had health issues. With doing the Cronometer tracking my Micro nutrients and food in take I lost 20 pounds it was great. But I took it for granted and got lazy again. My husband and I doing a lot of camping, canoeing and fishing ourselves. So your video gave me a kick in the butt to get myself back on the health plan like before. So Thanks Shawn for posting this video about your health. I appreciate it. Happy Healthy Gardening this year. Another one of our favorite things to do is garden.

Thank you so much for sharing your life and health info with us. Ive watched your videos on both channels since you started. Although I am a 68 year old woman who will not be building any log homes, Ive alwats dreamed my whole life about living in a log home ans living the simple life, growing own food, raising chickens, etc. Seeing you talk about AG1 sparked my interest. Im over weight, with high blood pressure, aches and back pain, and im hoping to energize my body and mind and start living better with better health. I bought a monthly subscription of AG1 from you, and i cant wait to try it. I have a horrible will power when it comes to eating right, but ive got to get in shape. Im looking to buy a little used camper and travel by myself or with a son or few, grabddaughters, whoever. I want to go down in August to see my son in Charleston, S.Carolina. hes a firefighter there and he invited me up to stay and visit as long as i want. AG1 will be going with me! He is very athletic, a body builder and has not been introduced to AG1 yet, but ill talk to him about getting it from you. Im ready to live my life and be healthy!! Thank you Shawn. You are truly my inspiration right now, and i so grately appreciate you and your honest and positive chats and advice. Tonda in Ohio USA (indian Lake !)

My husband and I sold his house right outside of Columbus, OH last May, and moved to the mountains of South Carolina.
We are completely out of debt, except for financing a small shed for his tools, lawn mowers, and such.
This is my year of cleansing my diet/body.
I am buying 1/2 a steer that is completely grass fed and NO hormones.
We only eat fresh eggs and raw milk, buttermilk, and i will be learning how to make fresh butter soon.
I have planted the largest garden I've ever had in my life as well.
I am on a medication that i am going to slowly wein myself from to see if i even need it any longer. It's for migraine headaches.
I quit smoking 6 months ago after smoking for 40 years.
I haven't lost any weight yet, but my blood pressure is so much better.
All the changes i have made have already had a positive impact on my body. I am breathing better, feeling better, and thinking a little clearer as well.
A lot of it i attribute to your channel, and a few others that recommend not just self sustainability, but cleaner living overall.

Thanks for sharing, I've battled gout for over a year. I'm drinking cranberry and cherry juice and that seems to help. I've also stopped jogging because of the overall wear and tear on my feet and joints. I've had to eliminate almost all meat, I have been keto and carnivore for years. I've added back in more weight lifting, but not heavy weights like in my 20's and 30's. I know a lot of people get great help from elimination diets, but be careful with the extremes, I wish I would have been more balanced.

Shawn, I pray you continue to find what works for you to have great health in the years to come. We have bioindividuality and have to figure out what works best for our own body.
    Happy Birthday!
What we eat has a tremendous impact on our bodies. Back in 2015 my health was at an all time low. Medical system offered very little help in finding root causes. I didn't want to be on medicines either. I began researching on my own and found ketogenic lifestyle. That became keto-vore and then carnivore. I feel amazing when I eat ketovore. Less than 20 grams of carbs is my daily goal. I am someone that does NOT feel well on vegetables. Almost destroyed my gut microbiome because of IBS and doctors saying "eat more fiber". For some people that is the worse advice. Meat is my main source of fuel. I reversed diabetes, insulin resistance, autoimmune issues, improved my cholesterol (HDL went up, Triglycerides went down), improved leaky gut issues and increased my overall energy. The bonus was losing weight. Any time I increase my carb intake for a significant amount of time, the weight, diabetes, etc., all returns. What I was eating caused all my issues! I found my root cause and could do something about it! Dr. Jason Fung says giving insulin to a diabetic is liking giving alcohol to an alcoholic. He is a Canadian nephrologist and has written several books about diabetes.

My husband & I have been watching your videos for over 4 yrs (probably longer) We’re on 24 acres & we’ve been on a no processed food diet for 5 yrs. I’m 61 & he’s 70. No one believes our ages. I grow all our own fruits & veggies. We buy/trade grass fed & finished beef from a neighboring farm as well as apples, blueberries, strawberries from neighboring farms. It’s wonderful. About 3 months ago I began Intermittent fasting & now on 1 meal a day. Dropped 15 lbs (10 more to go) I have never felt better. We take vitamins & also do parasite purge every quarter. I ordered the AG1 to fill any gaps. We also have a good stash of certain meds on hand (ones that I’m sure this platform will censure) that were highly effective during the pandemic. I highly recommend everyone stock up. Thank you again for all you do!!!
