This song is right on. Ive battled on the needle. You name it I've shot it, even liquor. Thankfully I been off it 7 years. This whole cd is my all time over any ever.

Whenever I hear this song, the first thing that is on my mind is the redhead girl who incredibly headbanging during solos. ( legendary moment from Operation Livecrime video )

I saw this group live on May 17, 1991, during the "Building Empires" tour at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago (Suicidal Tendencies backed them up). They played many songs from the "Empire" album and the "Operation: Mindcrime" album in its entirety !!! Hand's down, without a doubt, thee tightest band I have ever seen live !!! They had beautiful chemistry together.
Just one slight disagreement, George. Michael "The Whip" Wilton is co-lead guitarist and is the writer of "The Needle Lies" and plays the leads.
These guys kick ass! love 'em since the 80's.

OK, most of us miss the line-up from back then but it won't come back. I think this version is still quite good and the singing is great, whatever I read in some comments below...

That´s a good thing for this queensryche, imo. Nothing will ever match Tate´s queensryche, but it´s a good thing that they can do this song again.
