The Fed loans the Federal Reserve Notes to the US Treasury at interest. We the taxpayers are on hook for it. The Federal Reserve has private shareholders which are banks

People dont seem to realize that if you would actually burn half the money in the economy.....prices would go down! At first prices may rise, but eventually you would have less money chasing the same amount of goods and assets! Sounds crazy but its true!

You are right about UBI not working in the current system latestate capitalistic system but adding more taxes, staterun institutions like housing and competetiv unmonopolized retail will help a long way. America under its oppressive system which it is currently operating can naturally not even dream of this since you have no democracy and most of the people are traumatized by state purposeful negligence.
I wonder if the seizure of Russian assets is a violation of the 5th Amendment. Freezing them was bad enough. But simply taking them may make the US dollar even weaker.
Modern monetary systems are an obsurdity. Imagine not just selling debt but someone actually buying debt. Then, convincing people they're getting value by purchasing a deficit. If I have debt banks aren't buying it on the contrary, they put leans on assets I do own or garnish my wages, taking things of true value 🤔
Yeah but the government is good for the payments because they can just print and saddle us with more debt and higher taxes. The jig will be up when the average income worker can no longer afford basic necessities. That's why the fed already has a CBDC on the back burner to replace the dollar when hyper-inflation hits. Problem is, it gives them total control and will be run by the same Keynesian standard.
