*Neel must be loved and protected AT ALL COSTS!* My hands were holding my heart throughout half of this episode, and 70% of that was for Neel being the biggest sweetheart in the galaxy. And honestly we need more people with that level of kindness and empathy in the real world.
At ___ planet names are like some other pre/postfixes in star wars. Ord ___ (like Ord Mantell) means Ordnance/Regional Depot planet and ____tooine (like Dantooine and Tatooine) means it's part of old Rakkata Trade Routes typically in the Outer Rim. All the At __ planets are part of the "Jewels of the Old Republic" but a lot of the lore around the name and purpose of these hidden planets is still unknown.
I knew this was gonna be one of the best episodes of Star Wars because the directors (The Daniels) are the same geniuses who made Everything Everywhere All At Once. I didn’t expect to love it THIS FREAKING MUCH! These men need to be given a Star Wars movie with their choice of plot and setting, and give them a blank check.
Protect precious Neil we must, at all costs!!! SM-33 hilarious babysitting scene hahaha Wim trying to comfort Fern Also Roona who.... right, Neel? hehehe Love your reaction, Louise!! And happy holidays to you!!!
If he was a true pirate, he wasn't trying to protect At Attin, he was trying to prevent any other pirates from finding it. And, if he wiped out the coordinates on all the other "Jewel" planets, that would confirm why At Attin is considered a myth and legend. His ship was buried underground for a lonnng time on At Attin. That tells me that his Captain might have taken up residence on At Attin, his and his ship's final resting place.
Take all the time off you need. Mental health and wellbeing is really important. Jod remembering his home planet. Either a lie or maybe he wasn't a Youngling during Order 66. Edit: In the spirit of the holidays, 8:50. "A simple act of kindness always sparks another." Klaus.
If you didn't notice both planets are set up the same way as if they all used the exact same blueprints, so it stands to reason that all the other planets have towers with coordinates as well and if they are lucky, which probably won't happen till the second to the last episode, find a tower with intact coordinates to At Atin
Or if the coordinates have been shot or destroyed in different spots, they could go to each planet and get different parts of the coordinates until the whole thing has been reassembled.
I think the captain was simply a pirate looking for the treasure and just didn't want anyone to follow him using the coordinates. Also, when she said the 8 other planets were "destroyed" I don't believe they meant blown up but more like what happened to this planet. It seems likely this is one of the 8 others and it was discovered and plundered long ago, leaving it in post-apocalyptic chaos.
What if there are two of them, but we only see one at a time. Then we find out their names are Frankie and Benjy, and find Slartibartfast's signature on a fjord on each planet they go to.
@@teemusid lol excellent reference there! I loved those Hitchiker's books. If it proves to be true that the mouse has more importance than I think for sure the writers got inspired by those books.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and enjoy your trip. This was a great episode, I think Bryce Dallas Howard directs the next one. I think the previous Captain wanted to keep the coordinates secret so the treasure, if there is one, could be found only by him. I could be wrong!
Kh`ymm had the scroll with the six hidden planets, the jewels of the old empire, 5 of them where destroyed only At-Attin stayed hidden. So I suppose the At-xxxx planets where these six planets and destroyed merely meant that their purpose was destroyed, whatever made them special. There can be still people living there, as we have seen here. I think they either worked on some secret great project that is now long abandoned an nbo one told At-Attin, or they are some long running social experiment. Either way, I think At-Attin`s supervisor is an AI (in form of a supercomputer or as a droid).
I think KB's prosthetics are something like when the clones rescued echo and he had to have the computer attached to his cortex. so she prolly had some sort of brain injury and they used the mechanics to save her much like fennec's abdominal repairs. Just a theory.
13:44 Hayna: They’ve proven their bravery…and now I will take the blue one as my mate. Notice how Hayna was eyeing our little chubby, blue, pachyderm boy. Neel is a Casanova.
LIMB FROM LIMB.........!!!!!!!! That part was TERRIFYING, the face cam angle and the music just increased the intensity so damn fast...... hopefully SM-33 can be fixed and atill be a part of the crew
Neel is such a great character! The best among them. Can't wait to see how the story plays out in the next episode also hope you have a really fun Christmas and New year!
Thinkin,,since she only shown Neel the lasar cannon on school roof,,Neel will use the one hidden on roof of their school on At -attin to defend their home,,in later ep
Enjoy your holidays. A couple-three of the young cast has hinted that episode 6 is their favorite so we'll watch it while you're away but we'll just have to wait to see what you think.
The pirate captain from the novel Treasure Island did the same thing killing his whole crew to keep the location of the treasure a secret. Also Goonies was influenced by Treasure Island and had the same set up, a pirate captain who killed his crew to keep the location of the treasure a secret. Both pirate captains die miserably all alone without using their treasure. I think they will eventually find At-Atin and will find the captain on the planet dead with whatever treasure the planet has. Jod will see his possible future as also possibly dying alone for greed or retiring from pirate life for a peaceful life on At-Atin. Also if Jod plunders the planet he likely puts it at risk like the other planets. Putting the kids and their families at risk to decent into war. That's my current theory.
Those weird disc-shaped things outside the planet at the start of the episode? Those are orbital bombardment cannons, like the ones used in Operation: Cinder.
@@fusionaddict They were generating the barrier and the barrier wasnt a thin sheet but a nebulous cloud so they were hidden within it is my take. Once the kids moved through the barrier it isnt like that had a rear view screen to see what they just went thru :)
@@Drifter_316 No, but they had a large windshield. The barrier isn't the clouds. The planets are hidden in a nebula, the swirls they saw were the nebula gases hitting the barrier. The things generating the barrier wouldn't be outside the barrier, that would defeat the whole purpose of even having one.
Best theory I saw was that the captain was from old Republic era found the planet and became the overlord of the planet then sent out droids to destroy the others and hide the one he was on and when he died the droids just kept working on his great works
It's crazy that SM 33 destroyed the coordinates to At Attain. I've been wondering who's the original captain who gave the order to destroy it to hide kids' home planet.
I believe many of your questions were answered in the previous episode. We learned from Kh'ymm that At Attin was part of 9 worlds referred to as the Jewels of the Republic, at the most established 600 years ago during the height of the old Republic, (since there is a New Republic after the Empire, the one before is referred to as the Old Republic, and don't bother with the 'Old Old Republic' of Legends.). So, Nine planets, judging by the ruins of this world build similar to each other and all but At Attin were "destroyed long ago" as Kh'ymm said. on this planet, the destruction was probably some sort of collapse of their government, loss of their supervisor. and thus the utopian society fell into a cycle of tribal warfare.
I can't be the only one that thought of the South Park episode where the kids were in charge. I would have died if they called them outlanders hahahahahaha
As a matter of fact, I had the exact same thought, captain or the only surviver of the crew and the captain is one of the skeletons (he only killed the crew that saw the coordinates).
I think there are 7 of these "At" planets. I'm still trying to figure out why their valuable, though. At Attin seems to make money, but maybe it is important for something else. Also, I am very curious if the Empire knew about them.
"I CAN'T say I remember no At-Attin" 💀 Well, what CAN ya say Smee? 🤔 Seems to me like the Jewels of the Old Republic Planet names follow the Old Republic Prefix model, perhaps using "AT" (Archive/Treasure) in the same way as legacy worlds like Ord Mantell used "ORD" (Ordinance), a Military Logistics and Manufacturing hub. Remember the other 8 worlds were discovered and spoiled long ago, and only At-Attin slipped into Myth and Legend. The other "AT-" worlds fell long before the Rebellion, the Empire, The Clone Wars, even the Ruusaan Reformation. They are known and have scavenged and scrapped and traded since their fall with every era since.
I love this episode. Although I don’t who I want Neel to be with. Roona or Hayna? It’s a love triangle. Let me know who do you think Neel should be with.
Neel you're a sweet baby boy, but unfortunately thats not how the galaxy works. SM-33 has gone full Infiltrator Droid from Rebels. The Mystery of At Attin continues
Hi Louise! I have another suggestion for You: "Thrawn: The COMPLETE Life story (Canon) Part 1" by the Channel named: "MetaNerdz Lore". I highly recomend this one!
Does your nation require a Skeleton Crew logo to be on the mini-screen? It makes it hard to watch along. I don't remember your older videos being that way. I have noticed it on a few other reactors videos too. I just got to wondering why some people do that.
I know they will not go this way (time travel), but the most crazy thing would be for the "old captain" to be a future older Fern. After all the "old captain" did actually protect At Atin at a high cost. Also Smee was very quick to accept Fern as the "new captain". Again, it is not a prediction but just a statement that this would be mind blowing. In such a scenario we would see how it happened (will happen for Fern) in the last episode.
*Neel must be loved and protected AT ALL COSTS!* My hands were holding my heart throughout half of this episode, and 70% of that was for Neel being the biggest sweetheart in the galaxy. And honestly we need more people with that level of kindness and empathy in the real world.
