Clark Kent struggles to balance all aspects of his personal life & Superman world while dealing with Thaddeus Killgrave, Lois Lane taking on Morgan Edge who has a Kryptonian trick up his sleeve, Jordan excels in football as Jonathan watches him in the spotlight...meanwhile their friend Tag seems to be becoming a MetaHuman. Project 7734 is from the comics where Sam Lane plays an important part in the story where he wants to protect earth from Extraterrestrial forces.
The actor Brandon Fletcher that plays Thaddeus Kilgrave played 2 different characters in Smallville and Arrow. In Smallville he was Parasite and in Arrow he played the prison inmate during season 7 of Arrow. He is a fellow Canadian actor.
X-Kryptonite is a type of kryptonite that can give normal humans powers. Thats why Sam said the other kid’s powers was because of a yellow phosphorus aka there was some x-kryptonite involved there it all clicks

@@IronMan-jj2fd It's amazing. We don't need a series with crazy godly powers and mysteries and time travel and multiverses. It's nice to get a down to earth thing and an actual relationship between two brothers. It still has action but it's not the main focus.

I love how they’re handling the relationship with Louis in this series. Even with her getting mad with Clark not being able to help out with some of the things in their personal lives, she still understands everything Clark is dealing with with as Superman and respects him as her husband

You would think after 80+ years people would learn how to spell the name of one of the most well known characters ever.
This is probably currently the best representation of Clark and Lois’ love. I love how they are written, and treated. Bravo once again to everyone involved with this show!!

This actually could have worked as a feature film or a series of superman movies for big screen. THIS version of superman actually works and is relatable. It would've been awesome.

Four episodes in, I randomly realized that Superman's kids are Jordan and Jonathan....... That made me think of brothers Jordan & Jonathan Knight from New Kids on the Block. With that half Kryptonian DNA, one might say Superman's Kids got the... Right Stuff (oh, oh, ohhhhh-oh).
And they will develop their powers..."step by step" and they are "hangin tough" as brothers no matter what happen in their lives 😅

The writing and the acting is so good! I thought Superman and Lois was gonna be another CW type low class show, but the trailer changed my mind seeing how great the cinematography was, and watching pilot hooked me into it👏❤️👊💥
As soon as Killgrave spit his gum I was yelling, "Move morons!"
I love this show because it is grounding Superman in a way that feels so true to his origins and his character. He's not just the all-powerful hero or the stereotypical "all-American" perfect man; he's a person that is balancing so much and he's super not just because of his powers, but because he is trying. This Superman is someone we can all aspire to be like- to not forget those who need us, and to always try even when things seem overwhelming. Lois's words to her father summed it up the best.

I was worried about this show when it was announced but it has really been impressive.
I'm not watching this video yet because I'm watching this episode in a few minutes, and I ain't bout to be spoiled in any sense of the word. Just stopping by to like the video, and I hope you guys are doing well.
I like how these two analysis each and every show in depth compared to other reactors and the humour in between just makes it even more enjoyable to watch.
So Jordan complains about the tiniest thing even with superpowers while Jonathon is supposed to just sit there and take abuse from the head coach and not say anything because Jordan will complain if he does. This feels like a vicious circle that will continue to pick up speed as the two brothers move faster and eventually crash head on Large Hadron Collider style? That is not cool. Also that coach is basically bullying Jonathon now right?

Five minutes in and it JUST CLICKED! I’m not sure what you said but y’all said something that made two snippets from this episode snap together.
Tag was affected by the X-Kryptonite! The mines seem to be littered with the crystals, and the explosion from Jordan’s heat vision made the dusts/gasses chemically reactive. The X-Kryptonite could possible enhance Jordan’s powers too, and the crystals were possibly there or had enhanced growth because of Clark’s landing as a baby.
Maybe.... Oh boy...

So I agree that the acting and writing and all the layers in this show are amazing. But does anyone else kinda want Clark to tell everyone whose trying to point him in various directions to back off and to let him decide when he wants to be superman or to be Clark, like damn people let him breathe

I don't think that's the kind of person Clark is. As he politely informed General Lane, being Superman isn't a job for him. He thinks of it as his responsibility. He also loves his family and will never tell any of them to back off.

It’s nice to see CW is keeping pace with a good show these days, after stargirl and all that other stuff with Batwoman it was pretty worrying.
Stargirl is a great show and shouldn't be lumped in with Batwoman.

Something supergirl accidentally created whilst looking to create a cure for green kryptonite it gives normal people superpowers.
Still liked the episode, but it's probably my least favorite and the CWness is creeping in more. Kilgrave is a villain of the week if I ever saw one, and X-Kryptonite is a mcguffin that will allow them to do more of that week to week. Just hope it doesn't take a turn for the typical CW, but it's hard to do with a 20+ season (15 episodes this season because of COVID, but season 2 presumably will return to the 20+ season where only a third, maybe a quarter of the episodes actually matter).

Idk X-Kryptonite makes a lot of sense with what they have set up. I think it's worth a villian of the week every now and then if it furthers the main plot. I just think they have to make sure that each episode/villian makes an impact on the series as a whole

Maybe they're throwing us for a loop with Lane's contingency. Maybe it's about some sort of support system / "Cyborg Superman" back-up to make Clark's schedule more bearable so he's not torn between three obligations at once.

@@starbrand3726 the point of the show is to go "how would superman handle being a father?" It's taking a fantastic character and putting them in a situation. And there's been many Superman action scenes as well. I just don't get why it's bad to put focus on lois and the kids. If they didnt, it wouldn't be Superman and Lois, it would just be another superman movie. I don't know, I guess I just am enjoying it so I don't care if it is pointless or unnecessary or whatever
