    I have 2 of these coming mid-January. I'm using them to drive my main speakers which happen to be on my desk atm. It's a Delcoid satellite/ subwoofer setup from around 1980. I'm concerned about them driving the sub as it's a 12" passive that can handle 500 watts rms. If these amps can't push it, I'll be returning them the same day I get them. I'm using a QSC GX5 amp right now. It works great with 500wpc but it takes up too much space on my desk. I'm disabled now and live with family so space is at a premium. Great review and you earned a new sub ! Thx for the info !
    UPDATE: I've been running these amps for about 6 weeks now. I'm happy to say that they sound very good with my system. My 12" passive sub still hits hard but it's also controlled. No sloppiness here. I'm still amazed. I never thought that a class D amp could perform this good. I can't see how ANYONE would disappointed with these amps. Of course, don't expect them to outperform an amp that costs several thousand dollars. They still aren't as good as my GAS Ampzilla but unless I'm sitting back being VERY critical, I can't tell the difference. For every day listening for most people, the A07 Max will do the job nicely.

    A quick way to know how much real power might be available with these class D amps is... Wattage = Amperage times Voltage. So, with this power supply. 36 volts times 6 amps equals 216 TOTAL WATTS POWER CONSUMPTION THAT IS EVEN AVAILABLE. In addition, most class D amps run around 85% efficient to their output. So multiply that total power consumption of 216 watts by 85% efficiency (.85) and that equals around 183 watts total. Divide that power by 2 as there are two channels and that is about 91 watts per channel maximum that can actually be made with this amp. Internal caps "might" improve the short-term power bursts slightly depending on the impedance of the speakers, but the power output specs are usually complete marketing vaporware. These amps are not bad for the money, but everyone should know these huge marketing power specs are not real when looking at these Class D amps. Even if purchasing the 48-volt power supply, it is only a little over 100wpc. I would not suggest using a 48v10amp power supply for these as one might have a meltdown eventually.

      How calculate A07 power supply for a pair of Pioneer SP-FS52?

    • @charlyrecon
      @charlyrecon 4 месяца назад

      @@superidyt Hey man. I was searching for this amazing info so there are reviews saying the A07 normal is 95% efficiency. That is to say with a 32V 5A power supply = 32 x 5 x .95 = 152/2 = 76 by channel if i´m not wrong. Yeah, the marketing info is vapor info. Anyway for the price and small zones these amps are amazing, i will go for the Max in next weeks, it´s 113 by channel with a 48v 5A power supply. Keep in mind that these values are approximate and may vary depending on the specific usage and operating conditions of the amplifier.🍺🤝 🍺

    • @DarenLee
      @DarenLee 9 месяцев назад

      @@ricardogoncalves4092 to be honest… it’s cheap and it works well.
      It’s sounds different depending on what source / streamer and dac and speaker you pair with.
      So far I am happy with it. I first pair with the WiiM pro plus with Sony SS-CS5 it sounds great and clear and detail. Then I change to iFi Zen DAC using my iPhone from usc-c source and it sound warm and a little mushy could be power source needed.
      Anyway it’s a really good buy, doesn’t heat up that much, volume always used at only 25% is more than enough.
      One thing is…. If your streamer or preamp don’t have a remote control then I have to always walk to the amp to adjust the volume as I am staying with my gf which as usual sensitive to loud noise. Hahahaha.
      In other words I wish it have a remote control but the. Again if more features means more cost.

      @@ricardogoncalves4092hi sorry for late reply. I just saw this. I am satisfied with my purchase. Been using it for 4-5 months now.
      I guess it depends on what amp you pair it with too. I am using Sony SS-CS5 with wiim amp pro and sometimes with the smsl SU-1 dac.
      One thing. It sound better playing loud only my speaker. It’s the speaker character and not the amp character.
      All and all I have got nothing to complain about.

    Took a bit to get used to your presentation, I'm all good now! I just ordered a pair of these A07 Max units, Amazon is selling them for $74 a pop here in the states. I already have the Fosi V3 and am being blown away by the sound coming out of this stupid little amp. I discovered that by boosting the line level input voltage that the sound improved greatly. I used a Douk Audio line level booster, $45 on Amazon. I also have the Sparko op amps, they muddied up the V3 so hoping the A07 will be better and play well with the Sparkos. We will have a three way shootout with a Sparko loaded A07, a stock A07 and the Fosi V3. Going to be fun!

    Listened to the sound tests on my home theatre system and with my AirPods and the only thing I could pick up is maybe the Fosi has slightly more bass coming through? Other than that, they sound identical to my ears. Will you be getting in some of the mini amps with the optical and usb inputs and the subwoofer pre out? I see both Fosi and Aiyima have them.

    All these lower cost amps, as good as they are, have one fatal flaw IMHO... their volume knob acts as the power switch.
    They need a dedicated power switch so you can leave the volume set to your desired level. That would make them perfect for use as an extra amp for AVR systems that need two more channels amplified. Many are 11 channel capable, but only amplify 9, leaving you to provide an external amp for the last two (typically your AVR's rear height channels, like the Onkyo TX-RZ50). I plan to buy one and manually add a power switch.
    BTW... peak/max power means nothing to me and is a miss-leading spec, these manufacturers need to supply true RMS power (continuous) which is way less than peak.

    fosi has much more dynamic in all frequency ranges, in the bass the fosi is more stable, the resonances in the bass are out of control with the aiyima. the mids are much more detailed with the fosi, the highs slightly more pronounced.
    the channel separation is better at the fosi which gives you more room and depth.
    the aiyima is more flat less dynamic overall. however, the frequency response seems to be pretty much the same and this is why people without good listening experience cannot hear the differences. there is no difference in 'color'.
    but now the important shit: inthe fosi v3 you will find the cheapest opamp on the market, the ne5534. and multiple persons did tests either with better opamps like the ad797 etc. or with very nice discrete opamp replacements like from burson audio etc.
    and these options give you even more dynamic and good control in the overall feedback loop of the amp. also again a tiny bit more channel separation.
    however, if you want to have the ultimate channel separation, you upgrade to a dual mono setup and it is worth it.
    thanks for the test. it helped me in making my decision what to buy.
