Mini running session - sound fitted Bachmann 08

Following on from last months head scratching saga of trying to squeeze a sound decoder, speaker & “stay alive capacitor into my recent second hand purchase of this lovely BACHMANN 08 shunter, I decided that the loco was far too clean.
Out came the MiG oil brushers & TAMIYA weathering pallets for a little grubbing up of the model.
The end results are quite pleasing, but as of yet unfinished. The real life 08410 has spent a fair few years at Long Rock, where she seems to have been well looked after.
It’s possible there will be at least an “oily rag” polish given to the little shunter.
Anyway I hope you think she looks better for a little bit of grime!

The Bachmann class 08 unfortunately doesn’t have a name as far as I know, this one didn’t come with any name plates…..
