You seem like a great preceptor. I’m a new lpn and thinking of applying to the pct until an lpn position opens up and I’m comfortable and knowledgeable. I just don’t want to work in a nursing home

I've been trying to do PCT since i'm about to go to school..i just want to get in the door at a hospital. It seems very difficult. I've been applying since the beginning of the month. I've been doing online CNA courses & watching all the tasks videos. Since i'm about to do med assist. I don't want to spend the $ for CNA too..I watch so many day in the life of PCT videos. it's really nothing that i can't do..I guess maybe the hospitals take so long to respond to applications. I've even applied for patient transport. Just looking for something to do at night/ weekends..any advise?

Its normal to feel that way!😊 I was nervous too! But just concentrate and keep doing it because It's very repetitive. The more you do it the faster you learn. Good luck!! You got this!
