    so, fun fact, in order to actually change your sleep schedule, you need to stick to the desired schedule for 2-4 weeks..... that said, I freaking love these habit videos so much haha. i'm also a member of the 5 a.m. crew and honestly, i hated it at first. but now of a year+, i honestly can't imagine NOT waking up early. tired or not, i crave being awake when everyone else is asleep (and therefore leaves me alone HA)

    I used to wake up at 12 pm everyday (sometimes even sleeping in until 3 pm rip), but slowly changed it to 7 am. I absolutely adore waking up earlier and having more day time light. I would like to shift my schedule to wake up at 6 am, as do you.
    No matter what time I go to bed, I always make sure that I get atleast 8 hours of sleep. I would rather get a good night's rest than be able to say, "I woke up early." The amount of sleep I get also GREATLY impacts the quality of a day and mood I have.

    I’ve been living alone for 2 years and I been struggling the lasts few months with social anxiety and a few financial problems. Also, today I wasn’t feeling very good (pretty awful tbh) but every time I see your videos you lift me up!       Don't feel alone, remember there's always good things to come. Keep positive cause sometimes social anxiety comes from negative thoughts inside you can control these thoughts don't let it take you away. Join a local club or gym and you will soon gain that confidence to talk to people. Xxx

      I totally get this. I dont have any friends and Ive been living alone for a year. I refuse to get roommates, because the ones Ive had in the past were horrible with bills/cleaning. So, Im just kind of stuck in this isolated state

    I wake up at 5 am Monday - Friday and the thing that has always worked the best for me is setting my phone on the floor as far from my bed as possible. (Sometimes I’ll use my phone in bed and when I’m ready to sleep I’ll place it on the floor and slide it across the room as far as I can lol) That way when your alarm goes off you are literally forced out of bed to turn off that annoying sound lol. Then since you’re already up from turning your alarm off just AVOID the bed and start your day! 😁

    Everytime I watch your channel I feel so understood. Motivated me to get up and exercise in the morning. It’s so reassuring to see someone who’s not all in. I’ve got a messy room on most days, I have an awful sleep schedule, and I’m inconsistent, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t at least try to implement some good stuff in my life every now and then.     Hey Susie! I just wanted to give you a tip, spinach is a super easy green to put in your smoothie! I put two big handfuls in my smoothie everyday. You can’t taste it whatsoever. Kale on the other hand.. I have no idea how people put that in their smoothies. I never get it to blend and then I end up chewing bits a kale while drinking. 😖

      So I’ve never personally tried this tip with kale I’ve only ever tried with spinach BUT if you blend your greens with your milk/juice first and then blend a second time with your fruit it can help make the smoothie less chewy ! Haha

      You can also get frozen spinach if you're time and/or money crunched which is super easy to chuck in to a smoothie

    It sounds stupid but seeing your room as messy as it is makes me feel sane as my parents are always on my back about cleaning my room but I get overwhelmed by it easily, it’s nice to know I’m not alone in whatever mental battle that cleaning my room makes me struggle with 😂✨

    I’m a morning person but it used to drive me crazy when I was a teen because I could never sleep past 7 am. Now waking early is just what I do. I wake up before my 5 am alarm most days and then I’m really sleepy about two hours later. 😂I love going to sleep early though, because how you felt at 5 am is exactly how I feel after 8:30 pm. It’s miserable being tired. You handled it really well though.

    🛏 With every new video, I admire that you stay kind to yourself, Susie. For example when you mentioned your long to-do list and that you weren’t able to finish everything on it, you simply commented that that’s ok to have days like these too. I’ve also noticed that you train quite hard and yet you allow yourself to take breaks during the workout. I’m noticing these things because I am not kind to myself in these ways. If I choose a workout, it’s for some reason crucial to me to stick to it in the same way the trainer does or else it doesn’t count. If I have a to-do list, I am not as flexible to say I can do some of the things on another day. Instead, I stress over how much I haven’t done and how I feel disappointed in myself. Your videos are helping me to see that there is another way. Even if let’s say a friend would point out to me ways I can be kinder to myself, actually watching you do these things feels like the next level. Thank you! 💕

    It’s so refreshing we can all relate ! I’m an early bird so always wake up at 5/6 naturally but some mornings I’m walking around bored as the world is sleeping and I’m ready to go with nowhere to go lol. Too early for work, gym or friends !! I wake early even if I go to bed late I just feel like crap all day . So need to push and go to. Ed no later than 10.30pm

    It definitely becomes easier with time. I've been getting up at 5am since 2020 and I love the extra time, getting in a workout, and quiet.

    I am also a night owl thru and thru! No matter how many times I wake up any earlier then 10am, I can not function! I am always yawning, dozing off, so sluggish, and have a headache all day. I wake up between 10-11am and I feel fully refreshed and ready to take on the day. I would LOVE to be a morning person

    Honestly it really is about the time you go to sleep😂 being in the U.S. Army I have to wake up at 5am daily for PT. If I sleep anywhere after 11pm I’m basically a zombie💀 I love your content Susie and I always look forward to new videos💖💖🥰

    Hey Susie, one thing to consider is that if you fall into the neurodiversity spectrum in any way (such as ADHD) then this could account for the fact that you have trouble sticking to a sleep routine. This is my biggest qualm when I watch the "that girl routines" and early morning routines. People who are neurodiverse have trouble with sleep because their natural circadian rhythm functions differently. Anyway, not suggesting you are or aren't, just bringing in the perspective that you shouldn't put pressure on yourself as everyone is built differently. I appreciate the effort you put into entertaining us though 😀

    Susie! Loved this video. I wanted to suggest this: waking up at a time that’s desirable but reasonable for you!! I think waking up at 6:30 and being consistent with that would be easier, since you go to bed around 10/11. It puts you at 7-8 hours of sleep every night which will give you more energy. Also something I do in my 5:30am routine is leave my gym fit ready cause I also only give myself about 10 minutes to get ready for the gym😂 love you and I appreciate how realistic this is!🤍

      Girl you got me rewatching your videos you posted five days ago. A couple years ago I came up with this trick: I write down 2-3 things I need to do that day, as opposed to a whole list. Sometimes I would pre-plan my weeks and block out the 2-3 things every day, but it's okay to write a list for that day. RUclipsr Erin On Demand has made a whole course around this!

    I would recommend slowly pushing the get up time back to by 5 minutes everyday until 5 am. It does make it easier.
    Going to bed the same time and getting up the same time really helps.

    Never thought i would say this but i miss getting up at 5 am everyday, seeing the sunrise and smelling that early morning which just reminds me of my childhood where i really hate waking up in the morning to go to school.. lol my job requires me to work from 10pm - 7am everyday so i’ll be sleeping during the day.

    🛏 reminds me of my first week having an alarm set for 3:30am to make sure I’m out of bed by 4:30am (10min snooze intervals) for work!! Those morning out of bed shots made me roll 🤣🤣

    Dear Susie, i love how you challenge yourself again and again.. i‘m a night owl too but trained myself to get up at 4:30 because Otherwhise I just don‘t get all of my stuff done.. it was hard at the beginning but meanwhile i wake up at 4:30 without any alarms and I love it… I‘m much more productiv while everybody is still sleeping 👩🏻‍🎓💃🏻 at least you still should sleep 6 to 8 hours to have a healthy sleep routine 😴

    I actually am that asshole who wakes up at 5am, but I wasn't always like this. Over time my body's just naturally started waking up earlier, mostly because of work. I like waking up at 5am because it's really peaceful and quiet, I have all of this extra time before work to myself, it's lovely

    🛌 Huberman podcast has a really great series on sleep. His biggest tip is light exposure, eat, and exercise first thing. It gets your circadian rhythm going. Also sunset walks, which are amazing anyway, help you to sleep.
