I liked this song the very first time I heard it circa 1995! This perhaps is the BEST song Toad has ever produced and performed, but as we all know Toad has many other hits, but this song grabs me for sure! Thank you Toad the Wet Sprocket All in All!

I owned(own)the single cassette containing the short version of Walk on the ocean on one side,and the long ending version on the other.The secondary song is All In All.That's how I discovered this song."And I like burning.Can't help myself" :) What a good band!

Gotta say I never realized the lead singer had that dead-on voice. Always enjoyed their music (mostly what played on the radio until recently) but digging into their other songs that weren't on the radio has been a bit of a treat
In my mind, the video for this song was the band playing on top of a hill somewhere mixed with lots of swooping helicopter shots of the surrounding landscape. This video nicely captures that same vibe. Thanks for uploading.
the new greatest hits disc is not a remix album, they aren't allowed to touch those old recording per contract agreements so all 11 of the hits were completely rerecorded in 2010 just before they started working on songs for their new album "New Constellation". I always loved "All In All", easily one of the best things cut during "fear"

First record in 16 years. I've listened to it from top to bottom and find nothing obtrusive or obnoxious. It's all good in my opinion. The chemistry of these two's vocals reminds me a lot of Layne and Jerry w/ Alice. Very different genre but works so good!
