I’m seeing a revolutionary addition to all these newer games, a way to capture moments. 3/4 of my enjoyment for Spider-Man Miles Morales was the swinging, stealth, fighting and story. The other 1/4 of my enjoyment was in the game’s photo mode... god dang it’s so good!
I really love the photo mode, also there is a glitch that basically consists of exiting photo mode then re entering it which lets you move a tiny bit further back. Eventually when you do it enough you can move the camera anywhere which allows for some very zoomed out shots of entire landscapes. Gotta love this game
Hello, Mir-or-Image! Thank you for this video. It was very educational and hope to try out myself. I am currently working on a research on video game photography with Ghost of Tsushima. Would it be alright if I can use your Photo Mode Perspective series as one of the examples?
I would definitely support your patreon if I wasn’t a broke 14 year-old. 😂 This is so cool too see because I love video games, and photography is one of those things where it interests me but I’ve never really gotten into it. So this video got me excited. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate you enjoying it! That's why I started this series. Teach what I know about photography but through video games. I'm constantly learning more about photography and figured I'd try explaining it while having some fun with it
Hey there! I use OBS to record this. Here's how I did the overlay: 1. Create a Scene 2. Add an image using the + icon under the Sources tab 3. Select your image (make sure it's a png file so you have a transparent background). That overlay was a generic rule of thirds image I found 4. I mapped that scene to my numpad, so I can quickly switch between different scene setups I'm still learning how to use OBS and record videos, but hopefully that helps!
@@MirorImage thank you! I’m an aspiring video game photographer and I wanted to learn all I could. If you have any tips or resources or recommendations for how to be a better photographer, I’d be more than honored to see them 😁
That's actually my goal with this channel! Teach photography using video games, but also what certain things mean in photo modes that can translate into real world photography. I have more content planned with video game photography and photography in general. I hope you can stick around and learn something new!
I agree. The amount of things in Ghost of Tsushima's photo mode is insane, especially the particle effects and weather. I'd say that it's one of the best photo modes in any game period

I remember hearing about that a while ago, but I never actually tried it. Anything for the shot!
When you added that animated environment !!!

You're welcome and yes, you can absolutely use my videos as an example!
You can do that zoom in and zoom out at same time to get a pralax effect

@@MirorImage Cool! Sure thing! And thanks!
I platinumed both GoT and GoW, in my opinion GoT's photo mode is better. What's your take on that?
