Bruh I used this and it worked. The only defense I have for my base are 2 Overlords (1 with propaganda center, and 1 with gatling gun) and some Inferno canons. Totally worth it... The worst thing to happen is that the GLA produces Scud Launchers. I swear whenever they show up, you can't kill them. You need to create faster units to intercept them...
I used 16 migs with flame and armor upgrade, and went through the west side of the mountain, and up. Lost 3 before they leveled the scud, then finished with an Artillery barrage. I did lose 10 fighters but I had time to build two scuds and a nuclear missile. By the time they rebuilt it, it was too damn late for those bushy a**holes

the secret is just build nuke missile before the scud storm launches and keep your money below 5000 until you blasted scud storm out with artillery barrage and nuke combo. as long you keep the money below 5000, it won't launch even the timer is at 0:00

After that, i will now capture their barracks to trigger the second phase.
The scorched earth style using the dragon tank is a good defensive strategy to spoil constant attacks. However, you also leave it defenseless with only the speaker tower to revive its life. You could have defended it using the migs flying on standby or the long range flame thrower or put a bunker with 5 missile soldiers and a gattling cannon beside it. That could have been a better defensive strategy while seeking to destroy the SCUD. :) I played this campaign in Brutal Mode. It took me a while to develop a strategy on how to spoil constant attacks while having less and trying to destroy the SCUD. just my two cents.

Their scud is up too early so you can't turtle They have a unlimited supply of troops so rushing is not gonna work Only way to beat it is to call in arty against a certain tunnel entrance and smuggle spec ops into their base, capture and sell the scud and steal money to mass up overlord. Who tf designed this lvl?
you have a lot of space to build with, if you spread your buildings out you can turtle pretty effectively as they likely won't fire it, and if they do, you can take the hit because it won't hit much. the only thing that's kind of annoying is the scud trucks firing missiles at your defenses making it impossible to maintain a flame tank wall, but if you hotkey some migs and dedicate them to cleaning that up you'll be absolutely fine. there aren't a lot of ways to go about this level but it isn't all that hard, just bad.
If you wanna make your army more efficient.dont Destroy an enemy vital building just like barrack.Headquarter building and arms dealer...so you can use their Arsenal and gain more reinforcement Better to capture againts destroy it....
I believe I just group each silo to a number, so I just has to press the numb pad number to select each silo, then I click on their nuke icons to launch them. I believe you can even use the ‘M’ key shortcut to select the nuke to launch after selecting a silo.

Mischa Prudon Well this mission is actually pretty hard, I could have rush the GLA with my starting tank army, but I run the risk of losing the whole army to the constant attacks by the GLA, which would leave my base defenceless. Also there was limited/low amount of resources/supply in my base area, so I had to turtle up in my base, while building up a constant flow of income from the hackers, a good defence and MiGs to take out the scud storm which was all the way at the end of the map and quite hard to get to.
ik its been a year to comment this late but... how dafuq did they not scud you for 17 minutes long after they fucking built it?! isn't this Hard difficulty?!?! it is that they need vision of you? that's why you didn't build your base near the GDI money collector?! what's the deal?! I was using the same "turtle" strategy as you do.... and they scud my whole base...

Migs are the nemesis of the rocket buggy and scud launcher. better to put the migs on flyby so they can act as a QRF@@dad2827

This is so far the hardest mission ever in C&C Generals even on easy mode... I've tried 100 times to win that mission however still struggling 😢
