I Love my Ameri bag perfect size and fits in the middle of my back easy to get into weather proof dark black . Many pockets inside . I found it in a thrift store for 7 dollars ,it's my favorite and it's my daily everyday for 6 years .
What is the practical difference between the camp material and the black? I don't fully understand the remote equipement materials yet (exp600 vs eplx600?)
I really dig the video, thank you for turning me to some of stuff I've never seen before! That Bannoch messenger bag that you're planning on doing a Cobra buckle swap to, is that easy to do with no sewing required? I received an older Trakke Assynt in this lovely Cumin colourway but it isn't getting use due to the same kind of buckles being a pain to work. I've contacted Trakke if I could send it back and pay to get it swapped but they said no, which is odd considering how proud they are of "upcycling" and preventing old things from going to waste.
Glad you dig the video. Thanks. The Cobra buckle swap does require some sewing, which I will not be personally doing. Yeah I wish Trakke would do this sort of thing, but I think they keep busy with warranty repairs and such.
The Alpha and Bairn are also two of my favorite and most used bags year after year. The Griffin CPL24 is starting to see a lot of carry time as I absolutely love the look and feel of the bag. I finally have a ATD1 inbound and I’m excited to see if that will be become a favorite.
My current daily bag is the Evergoods CPL Phoenix edition (I love the shiny orange lining) but a few weeks back I was using the Goruck GRxC1 Guerrilla in 26L. I have a smaller GR1xC2 Samurai in 21L that I will sell, I’m less using it, too small for me. My latest sling is like your favorite one a blue Bellroy Venture in 6L. When a need for a smaller version, I’m using an Olive Trakke banana crossbody original edition.
It will fit a Fujifilm X100 series camera easily in that front pocket. Also a LUMIX LX100ii. I’m not sure if an XT would fit in the front pocket but definitely the main compartment.
It depends on how much you are carrying... The Trakke Bairn or DEFY Recon Mini Leather are good messenger bag options. For a backpack I'd say Bellroy Workpack, AER City pack, or TUMI Alpha Bravo.

Wonderful Video!

Nice! You have good taste...

What water bottle is that on the side? Thanks
Looks like a yeti
It’s a Yeti.
Yep!
Love your list! Didn't know about packolab before, something to consider other than the Bellroy Venture Sling
Yeah I'm a new fan of Packolab. Great quality and you can customize a lot with them.
Hey! Any chance you’ve tried fitting a larger mirrorless camera in the packolab sling? Like a fujifilm XT series or something :)

Any 3 way bags having a separate shoulder strap in addition to backpack strap?
I don't think there are ANY good 3 way bags out there. The best is probably the AER Flight Pack. aersf.com/products/flight-pack-3-x-pac?country=US
Happy New Year Adam! For a more serious office setting, what would you recommend for a backpack or briefcase?

How do you find the strap length of the Bullet 15L compared to the 21L GR1? I’m a bigger sized guy so short straps tend to be an issue 😅
That sucks man. I've never really needed to notice strap length, so I don't really remember. Sorry.
