You should make General Grevious' ship, the Malevolence and put it in this video after half of it falls off due to friction by gravity. Then add Obi-Wan's voice clip, "Not to worry, we are still flying half a ship."

Might I suggest a simply emergency landings series? Where it is uncertain as to wether they will crash or survive? I’d classify a successful landing as one that could potentially be survived. But with damage that would make the aircraft non-flight-capable

No, I flew on a private jet once, and the landing was slightly too hard, and the suspension springs almost broke. Hitting the ground at 500 mph, not landing, smacking into the ground, would shatter them.
