I'm a huge Nicky Rod fan and I've always been supporting him thinking he's the one to finally beat Gordon. After this performance, it doesn't seem like he's improving his ju jitsu at all. Kind of a bummer.

The coaches corner wouldn’t be that bad if they mic’d them or something. An insight into what the corner is saying could be cool.
But you’re right, a minute and a half long static shot of a coach with no audio in the main event does not add any excitement lol

Hugo has beautiful jiujitsu. He had all the submission attempts, took the back. He definitely won no doubt about it. For such a big guy he’s so smooth.

Esse jiu jitsu passivo dos brasileiros é horrível, lutadores como Ronaldo Jacaré, Gilbert Durinho, Toquinho, Wagner Rocha davam gosto de ver eles lutando na raça. Vicor Hugo has the lowest combined sum of absolute gi ranking plus absolute no-gi ranking in the world. Five by my count (gi = 2, no-gi = 3), could be as low as three or as high as, say, seven. Truth be told, that makes him the best in the world right now.
