My name is Nikki Blackketter!
I live in Los Angeles, California currently, I moved here from Houston, Texas!
I am a short human, a cat lover, & a total kid at heart.
I make vlogs, try-on hauls, get ready with me, workouts etc that are mostly about fitness / weight lifting workouts & adventures with friends, family, & cat companion.
My vlogs show how I balance being in my 20s and having fun, with working out and making sure my diet and health is on point too! I like to keep a nice, toned figure!
Glute & leg lifts are my specialty. :)
I also enjoy video games, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and have some stormtrooper friends.

1. Make a routine! Go to the gym, do your workouts even when you don't want to. 2. Get out of your comfort zone! Don't stay in bed or do what you want. 3. at least 2 liters of water a day! For every cup of caffeine, extra cup of water 4. Make it a lifestyle. Create consistentcy. 5. Do you cardio! 6. Up the intensity of your workouts. 7. Find what works for you diet wise 8. Save the majority of your calories for the evening 9. Consistency
My stomach is smaller because I chose to start taking this HootFat.com it made me lose 21 pounds last month
What I love about Nikki and what sets her apart from most fitspos is that she is soooo genuine and doesn't sugar coat anything when it comes to working out and I appreciate that so much and it's what keeps me coming back - love ya girl!!!

On the same boat here!!! She is the only one that never makes a break out a huge big deal that gets in the way of her life. I truly appreciate that because I have severe acne to and no matter what I do it’s just something I have to live with

This happens to me rarely, but last time I figured out a way to fix it! I pinched my nose and created negative pressure by sucking in. Did it 2-3 times and was good as new! Would love to hear if it works for other people too

I appreciate that you said to make it a lifestyle and have consistency, and that you aren't always motivated to go to the gym.
I was working out to feel better overall, but then it changed once I let to many images of "fit girls" get to me. I eventually realized I was comparing myself to women who do this for a living and that I just have to do it for myself and not let the pictures I see influence me.

This is probably lame af but I love this app called plant nanny and whenever I drink water I log it and my little plant grows 😂 very motivating if you struggle with water intake!

This is actually super helpful. I have a small problem eating junk at night because I LITERALLY get so hungry and go to my boyfriends (and mine 🙄) snack bin! I’m trying to change those bad habits and I feel like I’ll be at that happy medium. Thank you for this!

I think the beautiful thing about fitness is, is that it will always be there. The gym will always be there. You just have to make it part of your daily routine, you shouldn’t let fitness consume you because that is how you get obsessive and compulsive about how you should look and how you look currently. I think these tips are very helpful, I appreciate you. Thanks boo. ❤️

My cat sits outside the shower too, meowing constantly and reaching out trying to help me lol
something that helps me with fat loss is planning my meals the day before, checking what I have in the fridge and using up everything before going grocery shopping again :D helps save money as well :) and drinkimg water with lemon, ginger/ any fruit

I love your mindset more now than when you were competing and grinding every day. It’s much more relatable obviously and you are more energized and able to come from a sincere place of living your life, instead of a set stage goal. Both entertaining but this just seems more realistic for everyone

Just a little add on to the "get out of your comfort zone" tip... intensity is your BEST friend. You need to PUSH those last few reps when you think you could give up. It may not look pretty and certainly won't fell "comfortable" but PUSHING past that, is the key to breaking plateaus. Xx

A very well put together vid Nikki . Not the usual , here’s what you have to do , track , track , track ! This is a much friendlier message . Tracking is fine , if you have the time . But for the most of us , just eat smaller portions of the meals your eating and try not to add more snacks will work . Then adding exercise , means you can add a few more calories . DONT under eat . Being healthy is definitely a lifestyle change. I am one to always gain more weight after a diet, so just choosing to eat healthier foods and incorporating exercise throughout each week can really make a difference. I like that the main idea of your video is if you want results, you better make it happen. A just do it attitude. 🙂
Love Rissa, that's because sadly diets are not sustainable for many people. It's all about making it a lifestyle like she said, then you don't even think about it. Also just increasing protein intake helps me stay away from snacking and keeps me full on an appropriate amount of calories a day. I reccomend a plant based protein powder to help get you there, and relying less on red meat for protein. This will keep your protein up but your overall calories and fat down, also it's just better for your health in the long run. Things like beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, spinach, etc. are great ways to get your protein in as well with healthier fats as opposed to animal fat. Just some fun things to know!
