I prefer the Global 8000, the extra 4 mtrs of cabin makes a massive difference, + they have similar operation costs annually. The whole point of having a private jet is the ability to move around quickly, 0.94 wins the race.
So here is the real life situation. Nobody flies at redline. So your “0.94 wins the race” has no meaning really. It will never cruise at that speed. The G800 has a 0.925 redline, but will also never fly that fast. Both can only get that long range at 0.85. Only with short and medium trips, will they fly 0.90. The 0.92 will reduce the range even more, which means the time difference will just be a minute or two. The Global is significantly heavier. Shut the wings are basically the same, as well as the engines, power wise. So the global will be stuck at lower altitudes for much longer than the G800, which means higher fuel burns and higher cost. Amongst pilots, it’s well known that performance numbers given for the Gulfstreams are usually a bit conservative, so the airplane will always outperform what Gulfstream says. The global are always the opposite. Always a bit too optimistic. Only thing that goes for the global, is the extra length of the cabin, but of course, you can buy the G700 if that’s what you need.
it's correct that the bombardier has a high speed of 0.94 mach. BUT: The high speed of the Golfstreem is 0,925 mach. At the gulfstream you are mixing up high vs. cruising speed.
agreed. He kept covering the airplane's airspeed capabilities but unfortunately kept mixing up the V-speeds. It's overall groundspeed that he was trying to achieve I believe.
Why did he mention the actual range for the G8000 but only made a statement about g800 been the longest range business jet without mentioning actual range.
Bombardier SRX presidential jet once flew from Canada to Gaborone, Botswana. I saw it in 2010 when it had just arrived at the airport near the presidential hangar..
THIS VIDEO SOUNDS AS IF IT'S PAID FOR G800 GLOBAL, IT CONTINUALLY MAKES REFERENCES OF SUPERIORITY TO THE GULFSTREAM 8000 YET, IT'S PLAYING CATCH UP? 🤔 THERE SIMPLY BOTH EXCEPTIPNAL JETS! 😊
"The love of private aircraft flight's - And all that Jazz.!!!" These fine Jet's need one extra. The Magical "Jazz & Pop" Music of Ms. Angelina Jordan.
Do your homework, the max speed (M0.85) hat you quote for the Gulfstream 800 is the long range cruise speed! Also, at a typical cruise altitude the Global 8000 can’t cruise at M0.94.
*I watch these HOPING to find Genuine analysis, but I’m Always disappointed.* The data and “direct” comparison(s) are So Flawed that it’s laughable. Adam Mel B Paul Jeff can u please check on the availability of the Northpoint Gforce planes plus Colonel Jeff have you had time to put together pricing on using the big bird to pick up Apple or other products to eliminate supply chain logistics yet? If not aware can u please send me info. Also Admiral Mcraven can I get a price on use of aircraft carrier to Africa South America or others I have Christmas presents for or any shipments to reduce tariff and costs. Like John Deere equipment or helping any contractors union do infrastructure projects over seas. Also Colonel how many containers or semis can I get I C5 help a little buddy out can't we get a family show and tell Six I'm sure your to busy for kid but brakes need to be done on f250 or we need to shop. Still don't have the element which if I was Navy seal on a op I'd rather get picked up undercover in the element which seriously u know Washington DC ain't worried about u getting left behind. We totally missed the opportunity on the movie with Mark Wahlberg and Monaco. Seriously have anyone watched James Bond movies? Seeing as how you are presenting aviation content and all ... I thought you might want to know that the correct pronunciation is: *"BOM-BAR-DEE-AY".* It is a proper name of French origin. It is _NOT_ *"BOM-BA-DEER"* That is the title of a man who is in charge of dropping bombs from an Air Force bomber. Just thought you might want to know.

Which one are you buying?
At 9.4, it is ONLY temporary, then it must pull back to cruising speed. No private jet will travel at 9.4 all the time.
@@Never2Late8 Not just speed. It also has a lot to do with security. VIPs can travel unnoticed by wrongdoers.
G800 top speed is 0.925 both planes travel at 0.9 for short travel while both plane travel 0.85 for long travels 10hrs flight etc
Gulfstream , always the better choice ! 😅
I can barely afford a Cessna 150 but it gets me to where I want to go.
04:00, cabin altitude, ?
Bombardier make great Snowmobiles

Where's the comparison chart for interior dimensions, volume, etc?
In part 4, they got you to click and watch thought. 👍👍👍👍
The gulfstream g800 could land on smaller runways.shorter take off and landing.for smaller runways.
If you cannot say the name of the aircraft correctly, you probably should not be doing a review
Exactly!!!
Ai, not real human.
Let me have one of each please.
I can't afford to pay you for them, but I want them. 😊😊😊😊❤
Why did he mention the actual range for the G8000 but only made a statement about g800 been the longest range business jet without mentioning actual range.
how many seats??????????
멋집니다.
yes
it's called Bomb-bar-d-ay
Bombardier SRX presidential jet once flew from Canada to Gaborone, Botswana. I saw it in 2010 when it had just arrived at the airport near the presidential hangar..
check you numbers ;)
0.925 Maximum Mach for the G800
Pronunciation please!!
Which one won’t crash?
😂🤣 🤣 🤣
It's correctly pronounced 'Bom-BARD-eay' btw. Get your facts right or get out 😨😰
AI produced BS . . .
Киргуду)))
It's Ai.
not a real comparison. The G700 and Global 7500/8000 are more of a comparison. The G800 is a G650 upgrade (new cockpit, etc).
I prefer the Global 8000 because it's made in México.
Thats right .. its built in mexico

Gulfstream has better engines.
A more common comparable would have been the G700 v Global 8000
BOMBARDIER, is a family company, with humble origins. Have some respect, learn how to pronounce their name.
"The love of private aircraft flight's - And all that Jazz.!!!" These fine Jet's need one extra. The Magical "Jazz & Pop" Music of Ms. Angelina Jordan.
How many times do we need to compare these two?
Gulfstream top speed is actually 0.925 with a long range cruise of 0.85
No comparison. Several reasons exists why Netjets, VistaJet and others dont use Gulfstream.
Yeah you clearly have no idea why Netjets doesn't use Gulfstream and it has nothing to do with the product.
@@Dyson_Cyberdynesystems Please, enlighten us all then...?
Why Elon Musk and the google founders fly on Gulfstream? They are the best, but.... the bombardier are good too. I read that oprah owns one.
@@Quisqueyax Ask them? Good deal? Aircraft already built/quick delivery slot?
I always heard that Gulfstream jets are the creme-creme of private jets. I never owned one but I do like them over other brands.
BOM-BAR-DEE-AY. for christ's sake.

You need to learn how to pronounce the company's name. It's French. Bom-Bar-De-A.
It's Ai.

You are not pronouncing "bombardier" properly.
On the other hand . . . .
this is a slideshow not a video 👎
That is not how you pronounce: Bombardier.
Every clip I’ve seen of that plane, it’s got a massive stain on the carpet. Guess the air on units weren’t emptied.
Wrong stats stated.
the G800 has a top speed of 0.925 not 0.85
