We recommend for longevity that it be drilled and screwed into the base. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at 1-866-839-2888 or by email at customerservice@ovedecors.com if you have any other questions.
Very helpful thank you for posting an install video but I do highly recommend setting the sliding piece of glass on the interior of the shower prior to installing the fixed panel this will make it much easier to install the door after the hardware and sliding rod is installed. Make sure you install cardboard on the base of the shower pan to set the glass on top of this is tempered glass so any chipping will result in the whole panel bursting into 1 million pieces
Great video for the Costco door. Sadly I missed that door panel step at 2:29, very important to have that inside your shower before you move assemble the non sliding side. Well, why do something right the first time when you can do it wrong over and over and over?😂
@@ovedecors1 I got it sorted out, all of the mistakes I made were my own fault, thinking I knew the next step without confirming. One other comment for you, I did end up running to the hardware store for some longer stainless screws. The hardware provided wasn't long enough to really contact the framing behind my tile, thinset, and backer board. Other than that, the door is well made, and functions great, we are very happy with it.
Great instructions 😀 👌 thanks guys I wish all things with manuals had videos like this.
Does the sliding door guide at 1:56 need to be drilled-in & screwed in or can strong 3M double sided adhesive tape be used instead?

I was thinking of doing this too because my curb is a thick quartz and I don't want to drill into it.
wondering the same. What did you end up doing?
@@Benwenzl I used GOOP on the bottom and caulked it. I really didn't want to drill into the quartz.
right on, makes sense. has it held up well?
