Since I was a young boy, oh 100 years ago, I have built models. Airplanes, cars, spaceships ...you name it. I'm very happy to subscribe to this Millennium Falcon build. It requires a bit of skill, and some detailing, but experienced modelers know
Well, I have the ball cap but not the coffee mug ((?)). Almost lost the cap in a high wind event, but managed to catch it. The cap actually occasioned a nice conversation with a handsome bloke at a bar. I had just seen "Dune Part 2", and he was about to go in. Great movie, BTW!
tthis is making me feel like building it again, I must have spent quite a lot of time working out what kit parts they used to make all the greebles 😀😀😀
Just got parts 22-26 sent. No magazines though, just the parts, as clearly that was too complicated to get right. Also according to the packing note I was supposed to get an insert communicating a price increase (turns out, it is £1 extra per mag). I got a mug though. Yay.
That was kind of weird. I think there’s no doubt somebody else had their hands in that kit. I’ve already received boxes that were pre-opened and I was missing the stage. Stage nine to be exact. I’ve never seen something like this before though. Glad it worked out for you in the end. Looks really good.
Also, Chris Falcon does some AMAZING stuff with those recesses. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do on yours. Are you worried at all about painting the entire thing black? Wouldn't it have been better to paint the base part black first, then paint the parts on the sprue before gluing them down? Your thoughts on that will be interesting.
No. The lower down the recess is the darker you would expect it to be. When I do the grey coat it will lighten it but still have that gradient of grey.
@@WorldofWayneUK well, I can't wait to see what you do. I'm sure it's gonna look awesome. Don't see much painting from you on these models, so this will be a real treat.
I'm getting renewed hope that I'll be able to start mine. 5 issues left of the Enterprise-D before I was hoping to start this, and I noticed they're taking orders again for the DeLorean and Optimus Prime here in the US. So maybe the Falcon is coming back soon. Fingers 🤞
Remember that the corridor was used for smuggling so I'd check too see if anyone else who put it together...might have stuck something under that floor to smuggle it in...lolol Enjoy Wayne...lo
You should make Fanhome resend you pack with the missing bits. They will send it right out to you. I had a part that was bent and they sent me the whole pack again.
I’ve signed up for this too. For the money we have to pay, getting already used packs is taking the Mickey. I’d give them a bell and get a refund on that stage.
It looks likely that someone bought and started the build, and then returned it for whatever reason. Manufacturers commonly re-seal these returns and out they go as new...
US says it is sold out - I've tried badgering Fanhome via email since I decided to start this build. BUT: I was able to subscribe to the UK link with United States information. They took my money and sent me a confirmation. Fingers crossed!

I look forward to the sequel. 👍
love the shirt
Great video, Wayne. That missing part was a bit odd.
Well, it looks like you got it all worked out in the end.
Chia sẻ video rất hay chúc bạn ngày mới tốt đẹp 👍
Please guide us through the painting when you get to it. I’m a complete amateur at it so would be greatly appreciated
Hi Wayne, was just wondering if you are going to continue this build?
Thanks.
Yep. I have a few packs to do
Hi Wayne hope Esther is doing well..?? Great video mate
Great vid
I'm surprised they have you paint/weather parts. I thought that no painting was required on these build ups.
I so want to build this, but my preorder got stuck in the Fanhome order processing system, and has yet to be shaken loose.

Wayne, that's the shirt that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs
Lol
Hiya - did you get to look through the Fanhome painting detailing extras on the website. EDIT oh looks like yes then 😜

my corridor was screwed together as well
Nice edition. Beware, it will cost about $1800 by the time it's done.
Odd about that part been missing and the floor already been screwed in place! ....

That’s not good at all
