The force is opposite because the work done on the fluid at the point of influx and reflux is exerted opposite to each other that's why nagitive or it make in angle of 180 where cos180 equal to minus one mean to both end of the pipe

When we divide by v{velocity}then how every velocity is cancelled beacuse on the RHS there's only 2v
Take firstly v(velocity) as common on both RHS and LHS then u have to cancel out velocity
