  • Hey guy!
Here is a video of me reading a passage out loud in a few different ways. The first way I am a little tense and trying not to stutter, the second way I try to relax myself as much as possible and the third way I attempt a British accent while reading out loud. I hope you enjoy this video! :)

This is just superb, been searching for "how to avoid stuttering when speaking" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Rincaas Stammify Blocker - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my neighbour got great results with it.

When I talk to myself, I don’t stutter that much. When I talk to my family, friends, people at school, or even random people I tend to stutter a lot more and I honestly hate it. :(

I have heard of other stutterers who said that reading out loud helped them increase fluency in their speech. Try it and give it a go!

I will not stutter while I am reading books. But my main problem is with the phone. My problem is I have "phone phobia". I can't talk clearly on phone. I stammer most in front of my father, brother, and strangers. But I will not stammer with my wife and son.

I'm also a stutterer. when i started reading out loud i could barely get past the first word. Dr William parry suggests in his book that we should focus on the vowel sounds while breathing out. i did this with reading out loud and my fluency in reading improved greatly. now I'm using these techniques in normal conversation. i don't see you using any technique in your reading. try to focus on phonating the vowels instead of actually trying to say the word. good luck.

Yes, the way you breath has a huge influence on stuttering. I have found that I stutter more when I breathing incorrectly. Reading out loud can be tricky especially.

I never reading out loud in front of my class because I don't get chosen by all of my teachers what I've done on my seat is making the reader at the front nervous & get embarrassed by my actions (if I spell it right) because my seat is on the right side in the first row in the class

Try to relax when you are about to say any word and read out loud for at least 30 min your stuttering will go away very soon. 👍👍

Alparslan seans I read out loud to my ten year old daughter before she goes to sleep every night.I rarely stutter when doing so but before reading I feel confident because my daughter thinks I'm some super hero or something 😂!I think confidence plays a major role in being able to read out loud without stuttering.Good Luck!

James Rodriguez a football/soccer player who plays for Real Madrid, had a stutter when he was younger and he overcame his stutter by reading aloud for 1 hour a day.

So have a stutter because I talk faster than I think so I just stop talking for like 5 seconds to think what I need to say, stutter like you do or say um um um um lol it’s annoying but I don’t get offended when people laugh because I know it’s funny and I laugh at myself, some people are so sensitive but ya just gotta laugh at yourself sometimes, If I was saying that I would have said um so many times because that’s what I usually do

when you read out loud your stutter should disappear. read slowly and sing the word you have hard time with.
